Kiernan started to look like a demon with his crazy hair, wild-looking eyes, and the grin that didn't seem to leave his face.
"Uncontrollable Demons? You're one of the poor souls that are plagued with that? I wonder how you haven't gone mad yet."
rcedes said with a smile.
It wasn't an unfamiliar concept to her, as she had t several people with Uncontrollable Demons before.
And they all had one thing in common.
They were crazy lunatics that just wanted to kill, kill, and kill more.
However.
Kiernan and they weren't quite the sa.
There was a ranking system among the Uncontrollable Demons—so were possessed with weaker demons and so stronger.
Kiernan's demon happened to be the strongest kind—Bael, the Murderer of Solomon—and this demon was even too much for Hell.
Beforehand, Bael was the leader of Death's army, but he was too much to handle and was exiled out of Hell!
With nowhere else to go, Bael happened to possess one of the babies that he found on Earth many, many years ago.
That baby turned out to be Kiernan Hunter!
"Shut the hell up."
Bael said while using Kiernan's body, and he grinned hideously. His words silenced rcedes and turned her smile into a frown.
"You're not Kiernan."
rcedes said with a frown.
"He rented his body for a mont. This is the first ti that he has actually requested my help… Or well, the second ti.
"The first ti was to rescue so girl, Raquel, but whoopsie, I accidentally almost killed Kiernan, keke. Oh boy, he was angry at after that."
Bael laughed.
"Who are you then?"
rcedes asked.
"Bael…"
He said with a smile.
"…Bael, the demon that killed Solomon? I thought you were a myth. You were apparently as strong as Death, so how co you've regressed to such a pathetic state?"
rcedes asked with a frown.
"To a pathetic state? You don't know what you are talking about. I road across the world in search of a body to possess.
"In the end, I found an abandoned baby at the doorstep of a church. And I thought, this body will just do fine. And I possessed him!
"…I was letting that boy grow…grow stronger…and that's exactly what he was doing, and I poisoned his mind slowly.
"A thing called—Devil's Ritual—happened, and I was about to beco the true master of his body, but then…
"Kiernan started rejecting my presence. He started attacking . Chained to his self-consciousness.
"I thought it was ridiculous that a re human could stop , but that's exactly what he did… I sohow chose the strongest Earthling to ever exist as my host.
"What shitty luck… I thought at first… But I actually consider myself very lucky now."
Bael said with a smile.
'It is already extrely hard to stop minor demons from taking complete control of your body, but Kiernan was sohow able to stop the strongest demon of them all?
'By all the counts… Kiernan should've beco the greatest mass murderer in all of existence.'
rcedes thought.
"Why don't you join then, Bael? I'll help you take over Kiernan's body, and you'll join my side—we'll start the new golden age."
She asked.
At that mont, Bael's fist smashed into rcedes' face and sent her flying through the stadium wall.
"SHADDAP, HAHAHA!"
Bael laughed with a mad-looking face.
"I did good, didn't I, Kiernan?"
He asked, like a dog asking his master for a pat on the head.
'…Stop fooling around, or I'll take control of my body back.'
Kiernan said in the subconsciousness.
"Right away, sir!"
Bael saluted and straightened away.
In the rubble of the destroyed wall, rcedes slowly sat back up with a confused look on her face.
She didn't look hurt.
'Why is the so-called King of the Demons taking orders from Kiernan? I must've overestimated him. I'll just kill all of them now.'
rcedes started turning into mist and seeped through the ceiling and went straight towards the sky.
In that mont, she transford into a big rain cloud—so big that it stretched across the entire sky.
"She is that cloud currently. I can sense her presence in there. I don't quite like what is about to happen."
Bael said.
In that mont, rain started falling from the cloud, but it wasn't the normal kind of rain. It was dark and oily.
'I can sense rcedes' presence in each one of those raindrops. Every one of those raindrops is part of her real body. For to kill her, I would need to get rid of each of those raindrops.'
Bael thought with a serious look.
They also noticed that the rain was also falling towards the people sitting in the stadium.
'Those raindrops are going to kill them.'
Bael thought.
'Is there a way to hurt her if you destroy so of those raindrops?'
Kiernan asked.
'No… The only way to truly hurt her is to destroy all of those raindrops, but there are so many of them.
'Anyway, I don't have ti to talk. I am sure you'll be angry if I let those people die, so give a minute, I'll handle this!'
Bael jumped into the air and destroyed thousands of the raindrops with a single kick, but so of them were still falling towards the citizens of Irio.
Those raindrops—while looking harmless—were actually as dangerous as bullets fired from a gun.
"Strong Punch!"
Bael punched.
The force of the punch traveled across the air and hit every raindrop, shattering them into tiny harmless droplets.
rcedes turned back into her human self, and there was a slight trail of blood coming from the corner of her mouth.
She got slightly hurt!
'She can seemingly transform into anything. I guess she can even transform into a trillion atoms, and I would need to destroy all of them to kill her.
'It's nearly impossible, and thus, killing her is quite botherso. I'd suggest using a different approach.
'We can't kill her by ordinary ans, so we need to do sothing else.'
Bael said.
'What do you suggest?'
Kiernan asked.
'I'll change hosts. I'll possess rcedes' body and try to take over her body and destroy her from the inside out.'
Bael said.
'Can you do that?'
Kiernan asked.
'I don't think she is as strong as you. She is a fragile girl. I'll remove rcedes entirely and beco the new master of her body.
'I'll need ti to prepare, so take back your body control, and try to weaken her so it'll be easier for .'
Bael said.
In that mont, he closed his eyes, and when the eyes opened again, Kiernan was back in control of his body.
"It looks like you're back in control, Kiernan. However, do you really think that you can trust a demon?
"When you are at your weakest, Bael will try to steal your body. You can never trust evil creatures such as him."
rcedes said coldly.
"You wouldn't understand, rcedes. You are such a hateful person. Bael would never betray , no matter how vulnerable I may be."
Kiernan said.
"And why is that?"
rcedes asked.
"When I was without a mother or father on Earth, I lived my childhood all alone. The church that I got brought to had a bunch of abusive bastards that made my life miserable.
"I left that place. I was probably five years old when I did. And I was never going to survive alone, but Bael taught how to survive.
"He was like my father."
Kiernan said.
"…Didn't he try to take over your body?"
rcedes asked with a frown.
"He was acting tough just now, but do you really think that I could've stopped him from taking control? Not a chance.
"I was young. Foolish. And weak. It was a perfect opportunity for him to take over my body, but he didn't.
"It's true, though, that he almost killed back in Nightingale. That idiot forgot that my body back then was too weak to handle Iron Style techniques.
"He apologized, so we're good… Our connection runs deeper than you think, so yes, I trust him with my life."
Kiernan said with a serious look on his face.
"…Such idiocy."
rcedes spat out coldly.
She thought he was an idiot and should never trust a demon—every person had evil in them—she believed.
It was what she also told herself when she did all the horrible evil things—it was a way to justify her actions and live with the guilt.
That's why she wanted to change mortals from the genetic level—to remove the possibility of evil from their very essence.
"You'll regret trusting him!"
rcedes launched at him, and Kiernan clashed with her in the air, and the world around them bood with an explosion.
"Ahhh!"
"So loud!"
"We should run away!"
The people in the stadium started running away, as it was simply too dangerous to be close to them.
"Who gave you permission to leave?!"
rcedes roared and tried to stop them, but Kiernan blocked her and gave enough ti for people to evacuate the stadium.
