Capítulo 810: Desperation Advancent

“Haah… Haah…”

Kiernan landed at the crashed flying ship and waved his hand.

He created a pool of darkness next to him, and from there, malnourished-looking prisoners shot out.

The prisoners looked around weakly and looked at the beautiful sun in the sky.

It had been a very long ti since they’d seen the light of day, and especially the wind on their face.

“…Been a long ti.”

Renette said softly at the sight of him.

They were never “friends,” but Renette had grown fond of Aoi, and they had beco very close, and she knew how much Aoi had been missing him.

It was the only reason she ca here to begin with—to make Kiernan reunite with Aoi and Ellie.

“Mmh… How’s the ship?”

Kiernan asked.

“The booster drive doesn’t work yet.”

Renette said.

“…That’s fine, let’s go. The Black Knights are regrouping, and they will attack us with all their might. They won’t let us leave this easily.”

Kiernan said.

He was delaying his advancent to “False God” rank because once he advanced, he wouldn’t be able to use the tribulation lightning.

He still needed that power to escape.

With a nod, Renette walked to the engine room and pulled the switch.

The flying ship started hovering above the ground and slowly took flight, and Julian made it invisible.

“…Master Kiernan.”

Jock said with emotion.

“…You’ve grown.”

Kiernan said with a smile.

At that mont, Jock hugged him tightly for about six seconds until he let go of him and bowed respectfully.

“I have been trying to make you proud. I am still learning, as it was hard without your guidance, but I hope I did well.”

Jock said.

“How long has it been?”

Kiernan asked.

He wasn’t sure whether he wanted to know the answer to that, as he had lost track of ti in the prison.

“Ten years in a couple of days.”

Jock said.

“…So she must be nine now.”

Kiernan breathed heavily.

“What are we doing with… these people?”

Renette asked as she looked at the prisoners.

They were “Red Ones,” who were supposed to be their enemy, so she didn’t know why Kiernan brought them with him.

Maybe for them to be hostages? But she doubted that those Black Knights would care about prisoner hostages.

“They don’t share the sa values as the rest. I couldn’t just leave them there. I will bring them to freedom as well.”

Kiernan said.

Swoosh!

At that mont, thick mist ca from nowhere. It flooded the forest below and the sky around the ship.

“Where did this mist co from?”

Julian asked.

“It’s Gaoh.”

Kiernan said with a serious look.

FLAP! FLAP! FLAP!

At that mont, they heard the sound of dragon wings flapping through the air, and soon, through the mist, a black dragon burst out.

“It’s a dragon!”

“Golden Lightning Rox!”

Kiernan tossed a spear of golden lightning, and it pierced through the black dragon’s heart. It let out a deafening roar.

The golden lightning burst out from every orifice and illuminated the entire mist.

BOOOOM!

The black dragon exploded, and then, Gaoh landed on the deck of the ship with a cold look on his scarred face.

“…I’ve failed my Queen, but I will deliver Her your corpses.”

Gaoh said.

“…I rember your face. Pankratios, Xerxus, and Imperius… I hope they found their way to Heaven, but you will not.”

Kiernan lunged at Gaoh, and their fists collided. It sounded like two teors colliding in the night sky.

CRACK!

“Ah…?”

Gaoh’s face turned ugly as his fist broke.

In that mont, Kiernan crackled with lightning, and he reeled back his fist and punched forward.

“Golden Iron Smash!”

The fist landed at Gaoh’s cheek, and his head exploded like a waterlon. He kept standing, staggering like a drunken man, but then he fell off the ship.

Gaoh’s body fell like a rock to the ground and smashed into the ground with a “splat” like a waterlon.

‘Find them!’

In that mont, the Queen of the Dead World’s, rcedes Rosburg’s, voice echoed in every living being’s mind.

Those of Dead World origin, of course.

It didn’t matter if they were Black Knights or just ordinary citizens. They all started running towards the direction of the flying ship.

It was like a mass hypnosis, as if rcedes’ voice had so kind of strange attraction power that no one could defy.

The flying ship’s oars kept slicing through the air, and they were making rapid progress towards the border of Dead World.

At that mont.

Kiernan sensed presences coming from all directions towards them. It was all of Dead World coming for them.

“…Ah.”

Kiernan grabbed his head, and at that mont, his hair and eyes turned normal, and the golden clouds disappeared.

He finished his advancent.

Kiernan had beco the Martial God—False God of the Martial God Stage.

“…I tried holding it in, but I have now advanced. I don’t have the power of tribulation lightning with anymore.”

He said with a serious look.

It ant they were in grave danger, and he wouldn’t be able to keep protecting them with his asly strength.

False God was the strongest entity in the Martial World, but in here, he was barely grazing the top 10.

The atmosphere turned heavy aboard the ship, and the prisoners hugged themselves and started sobbing.

“…Black Knights are coming for us…”

“…They will catch us…”

Kiernan lowered his head, put his hands on his hips, and rembered Aoi… his child he had never t… Mother… Father…

“…I want to go ho.”

He looked at the sky and started praying.

Kiernan had never been an overly religious person, even after his “amazing” experience in the afterlife.

He knew there was God… Death… and maybe even Satan real, but he never “prayed” to them, and it probably made him look bad in their eyes.

However, now he prayed.

He wanted to go ho… To kiss his wife… Hug his daughter… To see his mother and father again.

“Kiernan… What is the plan… There must be sothing that we can do!”

Julian asked urgently.

He believed in Kiernan with all his heart, and he truly believed that there was sothing that they could do.

He must have a plan!

“…I don’t care if my soul breaks… Give strength… Give strength fucking now!”

Kiernan grabbed his chest, and his beautiful martial soul started beating like a heart.

BA-DUMP… BA-DUMP… BA-DUMP…

Middle Stage False God… High Stage False God… Low Stage Demi God… Middle Stage Demi God… High Stage Demi God…

Low Stage True God… Middle Stage True God… High Stage True God…

“Ah…”

Kiernan’s eyes rolled back to his skull, and he achieved enlightennt—he reached the Peak of the Martial God Stage.

While Zachary went under Hateful Advancent, Kiernan did Desperation Advancent and pushed himself to the limit.

However, it was going to have a severe consequence.

The absolute destruction of his martial soul.

After this mont, he couldn’t be a martial artist anymore, but he didn’t care, as he just wanted to go ho.

Even if his lifespan was back to ordinary, he was happy to see them one more ti and was completely ready to let go of martial arts to achieve that.
