Chapter 785: Your Kind Will Die

“…What should we do?”

Azura asked.

“…We ca here to look for answers, and avoiding confrontation is not possible within our mission. We should try to communicate with them.”

Pankratios said.

“That might be a big mistake.

“…It looks like they are a hostile race. What if he attacks us? True Immortal can kill half of us in an instant.”

Martial Order mbers voiced their concerns.

“To do our mission, communication is necessary. They are as intelligent of a race as humans, so hopefully they don’t attack us needlessly.”

Pankratios stood up, looked at the mbers of the Martial Order, and asked whether they were going to follow him.

Martial Order mbers looked at each other with concern but eventually decided on following him.

They stopped hiding, walked up the hill, and started making their way over to the village.

It didn’t take long for the village people to notice them approaching, and they started screaming as if they were doing so.

“H-Humans!”

“They are coming!”

“Black Knight, sir, please save us!”

Gaoh turned around with a frown on his face.

“We co in peace!”

Pankratios raised his arms to show he ant no harm and slowly approached the old man, whose appearance didn’t match the village people.

The village people had red skin, while he had a pale skin complexion similar to that of so humans living in cold areas.

The village people had gone into hiding, and it was only Gaoh, his black dragon, and the Martial Order mbers out in the open.

“We co from the Martial World—we call ourselves the Martial Order—we haven’t co to harm anyone, and we just want to talk.”

Pankratios said.

“…”

Gaoh remained silent, his black dragon growling nacingly beside him, and nobody knew what he was thinking about.

There was sothing really off about him.

In that mont, he pulled out a black chain and wrapped it around Pankratios’ body and pulled him towards him.

“Pankratios!”

“Shit!”

Martial Order mbers pulled out their weapons with ugly expressions appearing on their faces.

“Ugh!”

Pankratios couldn’t move and could only look into Gaoh’s dark eyes and didn’t see any emotions there that humans were known for.

“Stand down…”

He said to his mbers.

“Talk? We are not interested in talking with your kind. We are happy with your kind being dead!”

Gaoh said coldly.

“…But why?”

Pankratios asked with a confused expression.

He didn’t know where this anger towards the human race was coming from because, as far as they could tell, they had done nothing!

“You aren’t the only humans that have co to this land. It is always the sa with your kind. Tricks, tricks, tricks, and tricks.

“We know what your kind really is.”

Gaoh said.

“…I think there is a big misunderstanding. We have done nothing to antagonize your kind. We have co in peace and aren’t here to cause any harm!”

Pankratios shouted.

“…Our beloved ruler can see the past, present, and future of all living things, and she has seen that humans are the root of all evil.

“Your kind must be eradicated for paradise to be born.”

Gaoh said coldly.

‘This guy cannot be reasoned with. It is clear that he refuses to hear us or anybody else. Is everyone here like that? So blind to the conversation?’

Pankratios’ eyes shook, and tried to break through the chains, but they were made of so material that was even able to handle him—an Immortal.

“…You and other humans there…”

Gaoh looked past Pankratios’ shoulder and into the eyes of frightened Martial Order mbers and smiled.

“Will all die!”

In that mont, he thrust his hand through Pankratios’ chest, grabbed his heart, and ripped it out with a savage grin on his face.

“…Ah.”

Pankratios dropped to the ground, lifeless.

Gaoh squeezed all the blood from the heart and then crushed it into a pulpy ss in his hand.

“Run!”

“Run!”

Xerxus and Imperius shouted at the sa ti and attacked Gaoh with all their might. Gaoh kept swinging his chain and kept parrying their strikes with ease, his eyes gleaming with malice.

The rest of the Martial Order were already running up the hill, and they ran towards the sa direction where they ca from.

They were done with this place, and they just wanted to leave!

“Whistle~”

Kiernan whistled for Fen, and the dark-furred creature was slightly reluctant, but he eventually followed.

He was having the best feast of his life, but was interrupted sadly.

“ROAR!”

In that mont, the black dragon took flight, chased after them, and breathed out black flas that scorched everything.

“Help, master!”

Azura shouted, but then the black flas engulfed her, and there was nothing left of her.

“No!”

Amara scread as she watched her dear disciple dying right in front of her eyes, and then, the black flas swept through her as well.

She let out a bloodcurdling scream as she was reduced to ashes.

Frightened.

Martial Order mbers just saw their leaders, Azura and Amara, die without being able to do anything.

The fear they were feeling couldn’t be described in words, and their minds were consud with one thing.

Escape!

They had to leave this godforsaken place!

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Through the forest, Martial Order mbers rushed towards the ship, and they were still a decent distance away.

They could only hear the sound of the dragon’s wings flapping like a thunderous storm approaching.

In that mont, they saw people ahead.

Two of them.

They were sitting on top of a rock, seemingly waiting for them, and were shining their weapons like they were ready for battle.

“…They have co.”

Kouketsu stood up.

He was ten ters tall with eight large eyes—like that of a spider—and had a body that had zero body fat and instead was all muscle.

“…”

Miseria turned towards the approaching group.

Her eyes were hidden behind black cloth, but it seed like she could still see, and she was very short—about 150 centiters—and she looked young.

Despite all that, she was a thousand years old.

“…I-I can’t believe it.”

Genevieve’s voice trembled.

They had never seen her scared before, but now she was truly frightened, and there was a reason for that.

“…They are both True Immortals.”

Sabbath said with a cold expression.
