The dragon head of the ship entered the mist, and slowly the rest of the ship followed.

It was eerie and dark.

Martial Order mbers stood at the deck in full alert, and Xerxus and Pankratios had already summoned their weapons.

The ship t with so shipwreck in the fog, and a few fins appeared in the water, circling around the wreckage.

Thump!

In that mont, a hamrhead shark smashed into the side of the ship and then disappeared back under water.

Fen’s tail was standing at attention, and he could sense that there were so dangerous threats nearby.

"Whoo..."

Kiernan touched the hardwood deck with his hand and slowly covered the entirety of the ship in black qi!

It looked like the ship was wearing a uniform now.

"Oh, what is this?"

Imperius asked.

"Black Qi—my martial ability. It is basically armor. It will be able to protect the ship."

Kiernan said.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

In that mont, sharks started ramming into the ship, but the black qi was protecting the ship from the attacks.

Xerxus jumped into the air and fired down to the water.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The bullets pierced through the sharks, killing them instantly.

The sound of the gunshots echoed throughout the thick fog, and many unknown entities turned their gaze towards the commotion.

"World Ruler."

Imperius snapped his fingers, and the dead sharks turned into his dead slaves with green eyes glowing with hatred.

They surrounded the ship and swam alongside, like a protective squad of fierce bodyguards.

Swoosh!

In that mont, the fog above them cleared up, and suddenly, a large shadow fell over the ship.

Everyone turned to look up and saw a massive spear heading their way. It was the size of a skyscraper!

"OMG!"

"Who in the hell could’ve thrown that?"

Pankratios was ready to take action, but in that mont, Kiernan jumped towards the incoming spear.

Kiernan pushed the bottom of his palm upwards, touching the large tip of the spear, and flipped it over.

The spear turned around, now the blade of the spear was aid towards the sky instead.

He then ford a fist and punched at the butt of the spear, sending it flying back wherever it ca from.

"...Whoah!"

Antigone and Azura looked amazed.

Kiernan landed back at the deck, patted his hands casually, and crossed his arms as if he hadn’t done anything special.

In that mont, a large tentacle appeared from underwater—it cast a large shadow across the ship—it looked like it belonged to the Kraken or sothing equally terrifying!

Xerxus pointed his revolver towards the tentacle and pulled the trigger.

The bullet went through the tentacle, and it exploded, sending a shower of dark ink into the air.

Genevieve summoned an umbrella—a large one—and covered the entire ship with it.

The black ink fell to the umbrella and started sizzling as if it was made out of acid.

"What is that power?"

Kiernan asked.

"Miss Genevieve can conjure any item that she has ever touched in her life and can change its size as she wishes."

Pankratios said.

"...Any item?"

Kiernan looked impressed.

"LOOK OUT!"

In that mont, Imperius’ shout woke them all up, and ahead of the ship, countless burning ships headed in their way.

Everyone took action and destroyed the burning ships before they sank..

Without them noticing, there was a gathering of strange entities below the water, looking up to the sea at the ship, and they were planning sothing.

’Stand down...’

In that mont, a voice called out to them.

The strange entities turned away and disappeared back to the depths.

...

The ship kept sailing through the thick fog.

It had been five hours since they entered the fog, and they had been attacked constantly, and it was wearing down the Martial Order mbers.

There had been many unexplainable things that had happened that they couldn’t understand how they were even possible.

"Huff... Whew."

Kiernan sat on the railing and wiped the sweat off his forehead.

He wasn’t only physically exhausted but ntally as well, as sothing about this fog was making him feel uneasy and on edge.

In that mont.

A red light pierced through the thick fog, and everyone turned around to look at the source of the light.

There was a lighthouse in the middle of the fog, and it was sending crimson light across the dark, foggy water.

"That’s the legendary Paradise World’s welcoming lighthouse. I didn’t expect it to have survived this long."

Pankratios said.

"It ans we are about to reach the shore of Dead World!"

Xerxus shouted.

It made everyone tense, and they all made their way to the bow of the ship and watched the ship cut through the fog.

In that mont, the ship left the fog behind, and the sunlight finally broke through and landed on their faces.

Their hearts started beating, and they saw the mainland of Dead World standing before them.

A large cliff wall stood before them. It was about two hundred tall. Above that, there were so trees swaying.

They would have to climb to officially reach Dead World, it looked like.

"The water surface has reduced drastically in these past 2000 years. This cliff wall didn’t exist back then."

Pankratios said.

He had studied hard on Paradise World and knew a lot, but even his knowledge had its limits.

It was because most of information about Paradise World had been destroyed during its destruction.

The ship stopped by the cliff wall, and the anchor fell into the depths of the sea.

They all then started climbing up the cliff wall, and Kiernan took Fen into a carry and pretty much climbed with one arm.

After about twenty minutes of climbing, they arrived at the top, and everyone imdiately decided to take a long inhale of Dead World air.

There had been many questions about whether its air was toxic.

"...It doesn’t feel toxic."

"No, the air is completely fresh. It’s even better than that of Martial World."

"Could it be that people could be living here?"

"Too early to know. Air might not be toxic, but sothing else could be, and who knows, this land could be filled with mutated creatures."

Kiernan looked at the thick forest before him.

The trees looked strange. The flowers looked strange. The ground looked strange.

It felt like they had entered a completely different world altogether.
