"Haaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
Screams sounded from inside the elevator.
In that mont, the doors opened, and screaming criminals ran out with thick wood sticks in their hands.
It was just so random stuff that they’ve found in the sixth floor.
"They still have their collars on!"
The prison guards shouted.
Swoosh!
A brave-faced prison guard jumped onwards with a saber sword in hand and sliced through several of the criminals as if he were carving a cake.
"Do not fear! We are the justice, the protectors of the innocent from these horrible monsters!"
He rallied the troops, and his words had a great effect as the rest of the prison guards scread and ran into the fight.
The number of the criminals dropped drastically as they were smashed, slashed, and punched into submission.
"Hahahaha! What a mighty push from these idiotic inmates. What was their plan, to die?!"
Daemon laughed maniacally as he stayed further back from the fight.
"..."
Prison Warden Mars looked confused at the sight and looked at the elevator with a truly wondrous look.
’What was the point of this push? They were able to bypass the elevator lockdown, so it ans that they either have a genius among them or the person responsible for the prison break.’
In that mont, he saw that the elevator doors closed again and descended quickly back to the sixth floor.
Mars’ eyes slowly widened.
A mont later, the elevator started coming back up.
"They are a diversion! More is coming!"
Mars scread so hard.
"Huff... Huff..."
The prison guards panted as they were swiftly eliminating the inmates, but since there were about three hundred of them, it was taking a toll on the prison guards.
There were only about a hundred prison guards.
In that mont, the elevator doors opened, and from there, a massive gorilla stepped out and let out a shattering cry.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Steelback Gorilla slamd his chest with his massive arms, and when the prison guards saw him, they were truly taken aback.
"Martial Ability user!"
Daemon cried out.
"Shit!"
Mars jumped through the air with the warhamr in hand and swung it towards the head of the Steelback Gorilla.
Steelback Gorilla turned to look at him and threw his massive fist at him.
In that mont, strange power washed through the floor, and the prison guard’s thoughts turned sluggish.
The sa thing happened to Mars, and in ordinary circumstances, that gorilla punch would never hit him, but now, it sent him flying across the floor.
"Prison Warden!"
Daemon scread.
Mars flew all the way to the other elevator and smashed through the mountain wall with a thunderous boom.
With the delayed reactions, the clones started hitting the prison guards back, but those attacks didn’t really hurt.
"LET’S GO BOYS!"
At that mont, a rallying shout ca from inside the elevators, and with nacing laughter, the criminals of the prison began to erge.
They didn’t have collars around their necks.
"None of them have collars!"
Daemon cried out.
In that mont, the Delayed Reaction ability wore off, and the prison guards saw the inmates approach.
They were already so close.
"Needle Storm!"
A criminal jumped into the air, crossed his arms, and the hair on his arms turned into needles.
The needles shot out from his arms and pierced through the first row of the prison guards with ease.
"Ahhh!"
Martial Masters and Martial Grandmasters t the prison guards at the center of the floor and clashed with thundering impact.
Boom! Clang! Clash!
Each side suffered losses imdiately.
"What is going on here?!"
Daemon grabbed his head in panic.
"Tch!"
In that mont, Mars climbed out of the wall with anger in his eyes and jumped straight into the battle.
But in that mont, a colorful woman appeared before him and stopped his warhamr strike with her bare hand.
The two powerful forces clashed in the air, and the inmates stuck in the cells of the fifth floor passed out from the sheer intensity of their energy.
Mars’ eyes widened at the sight of the woman, and he then gritted his teeth.
"It is you!"
"Surprise!"
Renette laughed.
"You will not leave this place!"
Mars’ eyes turned demonic, and with ease, he swung that imnsely heavy warhamr, and with a deafening crash, it ca down upon Renette.
She used her butterfly wings to dodge the warhamr and gathered so light into her palm before striking it towards him.
Mars blocked the palm with the blunt edge of the warhamr.
Boom!
The light exploded in a blinding flash, but Mars didn’t close his eyes, and his warhamr absorbed the explosion without a scratch.
"Planet Counter!"
Mars pointed the warhamr at her, and the energy of the explosion was redirected at her with twice the power.
She shielded herself with the wings, but it still sent her flying backwards until she caught herself with her wings.
"That’s the Immortal Killer of the Red Sun!"
Daemon scread.
"Daemon... I need you to go to the first floor and inform the navy fleet that we are officially on black alert. This is the greatest threat our prison has ever faced!"
Mars shouted with a serious look.
"Ah... Right away!"
Daemon saluted and ran straight to the elevator.
He was honestly happy that he was told to leave the battlefield, as he definitely didn’t want to fight against Immortal!
"Who is the mastermind of this prison break?"
Mars asked.
"I am not telling you, but I am indebted to him. I can finally taste the air of freedom thanks to him!"
Renette said with a sweet smile.
"You are not tasting any air! You are not leaving this prison as long as I am its Prison Warden!"
Mars scread.
There had been many Prison Wardens before him, and their only duty had been to keep the criminals inside the high walls of the prison.
Sure, there had been a few escapes before, but most importantly, the Immortal Killer of the Red Sun hadn’t been able to escape.
It had been eight hundred years, and Mars wasn’t planning to be the person that history books wrote about as the loser who let her get away!
