Chapter 733: Historic Day
“Sir, the fifth floor has also been cleared! The inmates have either been incapacitated or recaptured!”
A prison guard saluted.
“Good.”
Mars said, and with a thick warhamr in hand, he headed towards the elevator at the end of the floor.
The prison guards wielded their weapons and followed him into the elevator.
They looked very serious, as the next floor was the sixth, where there were a few hundred Martial Masters, which was quite a formidable force.
In that mont, Mars pressed on the button, but nothing happened, and he tried a couple more tis with the sa outco.
“The elevator is shut off… Whoever took over the control room must’ve shut off this elevator before the system went off.”
Mars said with an ugly look on his face.
“What should we do, sir?”
A prison guard asked.
“Find a way to bypass the lockdown, and anwhile we wait for the navy. Once the navy has arrived, we will proceed onwards to capture the rest of the floors!”
Mars said.
“Yes, sir!”
…
Downed Prison, Sixth Floor.
Sitting on a wooden trunk, Kiernan looked at the cara of the fifth floor and relaxed slightly after seeing them fail to use the elevator.
“Sir general, we are waiting for your orders.”
Rochan said with a smile.
Behind him, the newly gathered army of the world-famous criminals were enjoying their new collar-free freedom.
However, they still felt these suffocating walls around them and wanted nothing more than to leave this place.
“They’re putting up defenses around the elevator. They are not stupid. They are ready to attack us as soon as we enter the elevator.
“We need to co up with a plan before we make a move.”
Kiernan said.
“We could send these Martial Masters as bait first, and since they don’t expect anyone else to co, we can be the reinforcents.”
Rochan whispered to him.
He didn’t want Martial Masters to hear him since he doubted that they would like what he was suggesting.
“They will notice that sohow they were able to use the elevators, and they don’t have collars anymore.
“They would then know that there is a big possibility that Martial Legends, Kings, and others have also been freed. It would beco even harder for us to leave this floor then.”
Kiernan said.
“So, we just rush it all at once then? We can’t wait here forever, as the navy will arrive shortly, and when they do, we are dood.”
Rochan said.
“Hey, I got an idea!”
At that mont, an ordinary-looking Martial Master raised his arm, and everyone turned to look at him.
They didn’t think anything of him, as he looked so simple that even if they walked past him in the street, they would pay zero attention to him.
“What is it?”
Kiernan asked.
“I’d like to ask, what kind of Martial Abilities does everyone here have? There could be so really useful abilities that could help us escape!
“And I think we might not need to go through elevators. What about these walls? Why don’t we destroy these walls and create a path through them instead?”
He said.
“You an that we should just swim away?”
An inmate asked.
It made them rub their chins in curiosity, as with collars on, breaking those walls would’ve been impossible.
But now they had Martial Kings, Martial Legends, and even Immortal, and with such firepower, breaking through one wall should be a piece of cake!
“I don’t think we are too deep either. The water pressure shouldn’t be too bad.”
A glasses-wearing inmate said.
“…Can you break the wall?”
Kiernan turned to Renette, and she shrugged her shoulders.
“I don’t know, and even though I am not fully recovered, I think I might be able to throw a Martial Emperor attack.”
She said.
They then all backed away from the wall as once it broke, the water would co crashing in.
Renette’s butterfly wings had eight wings with a wingspan as long as she was tall. They were thin and colorful with delicate patterns.
In that mont, those wings unfurled, revealing their stunning beauty, and she then put her hands together, only touching with fingers.
Her hands made an “O” shape, and from both of her palms, purple light poured out, and when the two lights smashed together, a ball of bright energy ford in between them.
“Butterfly Goddess, Lun Percutio!”
A beam of light shot out from the ball and struck the wall with a thunderous impact, causing every colored light known to mankind to explode.
From the explosion, particles of light scattered in all directions. Every particle was a different color, and there were even so colors that had never been seen before.
“What a powerful attack!”
Rochan said with a smile.
Once the explosion cleared, they witnessed the sight of the wall, and to their surprise, it was completely unscathed.
The powerful Lun Percutio attack couldn’t do anything to it.
“It is tough… As expected.”
Renette said with a wry smile.
“Is this made of Korkosh steel?”
Kiernan asked.
“There wouldn’t be enough Korkosh steel to make this massive prison purely out of it. There wasn’t enough Korkosh steel made to accomplish that feat.
“This is sothing entirely different.”
Rochan said.
“This prison was built by the man who captured . Immortal Orion Baxus. This prison is a creation of his ability.”
Renette said.
“…Orion Baxus? Interesting, a na that I don’t recognize.”
Rochan said.
“No wonder that Martial Emperor attack couldn’t break through it. If you had your Immortal strength, it could be a different story, but it looks like we won’t be able to just swim away.”
Kiernan said.
He then turned to face the army that he had gathered and shouted.
“What Martial Abilities do you guys have? Those could be our key to escaping this place. It is ti to reveal your secrets.”
Kiernan said.
After a mont of contemplation, Martial Kings and Legends started revealing their abilities one after another.
‘They are all really following Kiernan’s lead. That is aweso, and that woman… is terrifyingly strong. Wait… did I hear that she is Immortal? The hell!’
Julian’s eyes almost popped out of his skulls.
He knew that Kiernan ca here to rescue him, but now looking at this army, it looked like he had beco the reason for history’s biggest prison break!
This day would definitely end in history books.
