The tenth floor was relatively dark, with few blue flickering lights scattered about, casting light on five n chained to the wall.

The entirety of Downed Prison only had five Martial Emperors imprisoned, but a few of them had been here for close to two hundred years.

Martial Emperor criminals were pretty much at equal strength as Pirate Emperors and Navy Admirals, so it wasn’t surprising that not that many had been caught.

"Uh... Uh..."

"Ah... ah..."

They just kept making sounds while being in a constant state of half-sleep and half-awake.

They probably didn’t even know where they were half the ti, as being chained for years on end made them numb to the world around them.

"Blackout..."

Kiernan waved his black smoking hand and shrouded all the caras while making his way down to the elevator.

He didn’t stay chitchatting with the Martial Emperors and descended down to the eleventh floor.

As soon as the eleventh floor’s elevator door opened, an oppressive aura slamd into Kiernan like a heat wave coming from a steaming pot.

He walked down a one-way hallway and looked to the right, where bulletproof glass was between him and the person on the other side.

The eleventh floor only had one person dangling from the ceiling—a woman of unknown age with blonde hair.

Her head was hanging low, her eyes closed as if in a deep slumber, and her pink lips slightly parted.

At the corners of her mouth, there were stitched-up scars running up her cheeks, as if forming a smile.

It looked rather sinister.

’The Killer of the Red Sun—Xerxus warned that she was here. A powerhouse on the sa level as Xerxus, Imperius, and Pankratios.

’Immortal...

’She has been here for about eight hundred years, ever since the creation of the Downed Prison. This prison was initially created just to hold her in the world’s most secure prison.’

Kiernan walked past the glass windows, arrived at the elevator, and pressed down at the ground floor.

The number changed from eleventh to twelfth.

When the elevator doors opened, there was just one hallway with a solid tal door at the end made out of Korkosh Steel.

He wouldn’t be able to break through it even if he wanted to.

Luckily, he didn’t need to.

"Whistle~"

Kiernan whistled.

At the sa ti, Fen started running and ran through the solid steel door as if it wasn’t even there.

In that mont, the door started opening, and Fen sat at the other side, wagging his tail as if he was asking for praise.

"Good job, boy."

Kiernan patted him on the head and stepped through the doorway, arriving at the control room in all his glory.

"W-Who the fuck are you?"

The two prison guards jumped to their feet, and one of them instantly reached out towards the panic button.

"Don’t do that."

Kiernan waved his hand, and two black spears pierced through the two guards’s chests, sending them flying backwards.

"Aaaargh!"

They scread in agony as they fell to the ground, blood pooling around their bodies.

Kiernan walked to the monitors and checked the caras.

It looked good, as it didn’t look like there were any guards below the fifth floor, as most of them stayed in the safer floors during nightti.

"Hahaha... Cough... You fool, what do you think you plan on doing? Escape... cough...? I-It isn’t possible, as you are alone..."

A prison guard said while spouting blood.

His less talkative friend stayed quiet, as he didn’t want to die, so he didn’t worthlessly antagonize this criminal.

"I am not alone."

Kiernan pulled out two paper slips, made them perfect clones of the two prison guards, and ordered them to sit down on the chairs.

"W-What?"

The prison guards were shocked.

From the lottery, Kiernan didn’t only receive one Explosive Paper Slip Figurine, but five in total with just one spin.

"You two are not needed."

Kiernan summoned black smoke underneath the two bleeding guards, and they sank into the smoke while screaming their lungs out.

And just like that, they were nowhere to be seen, and just for good asure, he even made the blood disappear into the smoke.

"And now..."

Kiernan looked at the monitors, but before he could do anything, the whole room started flashing red.

At the big screen, a thing appeared.

[Write Down the Password]

[15.00 Seconds...]

[14.99 Seconds...]

The ti was ticking down rapidly.

"What?"

Kiernan looked surprised and realized that he had been had.

It looked like he underestimated the security system of the Downed Prison.

’I should’ve known that the control room is the most secure place in the entire prison, and taking control over it this easily seed far too easy...

’This is the reason why there weren’t stronger guards working in the control room. This is why. It looks like this system asks for a password every five minutes or whatever the ti is.

’If I don’t answer the password in ti... The system gets locked out.’

Kiernan saw that there were only five seconds, and since he didn’t have any ti left, he quickly pressed a button that should never be pressed.

He opened the cell doors of every cell from the second to the ninth floors.

[00.00]

The ti struck zero, and alarms started ringing on every floor of the facility, waking everyone up with a jolt.

"Hahahaha!"

Kiernan laughed.

"It looks like we need to fight to escape!"

...

On the first floor, the red alert lights were going off, and the prison guards were clumsily putting on their clothes while arming themselves.

"What the hell is going on?!"

"It is red alert! Sothing must’ve happened in the control room!"

"I swear if those fools forgot to write down the password, I will kill them!"

At that mont, a prison guard rushed from the second floor with blood trickling down his face.

"Every cell door on the second floor is open! Those fucking criminals attacked and killed Joshua, and they’re all on the loose now!"

Hearing that, a serious look appeared on every prison guard’s face. It was an actual situation.

Boom!

At that mont, loud banging of doors sounded, and the prison guard’s eyes started sparkling with excitent.

Mars, Daemon, and the Inner Prison Guards, whose job was guarding the strongest floors, walked down the hallway.

They were already dressed in preparation for battle.

"We will go through every floor until we find what has transpired. Do not hold back on your attacks. The inmates will either go back to their cell or we will break their skulls!"

Mars shouted.

"Yes, sir!"
