Chapter 651: Martial Redemption

Montrael, Martial Arts Registry Office, late in the night.

At the top balcony, overlooking the training yard, a couple of older n watched as a gray-haired young man t with a black-suited man.

“Kiernan has co to get his martial arts officially registered.”

Parks said.

“…I didn’t know that he was the creator of his own style. That’s impressive. I guess normal folks like us can’t fathom to understand the mind of a genius.”

Sven said.

“Haha, aren’t you known as the Prodigy of the Downworld? I think you are one of the few that can actually understand the mind of Kiernan.”

Parks said with a wry smile.

“Worthless title. I wasn’t Martial King when I was eighteen years old.”

Sven said with a scoff.

“…I heard that Kiernan rented a dojo over in Action Street. When a genius like him ca here, people of this city had been keeping a close eye on him.”

Parks said.

“A dojo? Now he is getting his martial arts registered. Is he trying to beco dojo master?”

Sven asked.

“That’s what I would assu he is planning to do.”

Parks said.

“I think he is too young to teach anyone. He should only be focusing on himself, not trying to beco a master already.

“The masters of Montrael will not take lightly to his arrogance of thinking he could just beco master like them. They might pick a fight with him.”

Sven said.

“They will probably think that Kiernan is doing this just for fun. They will not like that one bit. I think he will be discouraged after not getting a single student, and he will most likely get bullied out of Montrael.”

Parks said.

“…It is good to get so sense knocked into you for once. I, at least, was glad that my close rival pushed down a peg. It made shake back to reality.”

Sven said.

“Iron Smash!”

Kiernan’s fist pierced through the air, pushing the air with great force. He then switched his stance slightly and pierced his spearhand through a falling leaf.

“Iron Lance!”

With the leaf destroyed, Kiernan sprang off the ground, and hundreds of identical-looking afterimages sprouted out of his body.

“Ghost Spring!”

The afterimages surrounded the shocked black-suited man, and they all reeled back their fists before throwing punches.

“Iron Smash Storm!”

The punches went near the black-suited man, but before they landed, the afterimages vanished, and Kiernan landed back on the ground.

“You’re the… original creator of this style?”

The black-suited man asked while writing on his clipboard.

“I am.”

Kiernan said with his arms crossed.

With a nod, the black-suited man signed off on the clipboard, and with a smile, he said.

“That’s all I need, Mister Hunter. Your martial art, Iron Style, will be officially added into a vast registry of fighting techniques.”

“I’d like to also apply for my master status now.”

Kiernan said.

“That can be arranged. Follow !”

The black-suited man said and headed to his office.

There, Kiernan had to write off so papers. He had to show his rent papers for the dojo, and that was then pretty much it.

With that, the black-suited man signed off on his master status papers, and then he handed them to Kiernan.

Thus, he was now officially accepted as Master Martial Artist, and therefore, he could officially start teaching martial arts from his very own dojo.

Montrael, Quebec Street, Ashram Yuddha Dojo.

“Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!”

Hundreds of martial arts practitioners, clad in gold and red, were throwing punches and kicks in perfect synchrony.

With bamboo sticks in hand, several of the dojo’s Senior Instructors watched with lifted chins from the sidelines.

“Sip~”

Under the shelter from the golden sun, a bald-headed man sat cross-legged, a cup of tea in hand, and so crackers crumbled on a plate beside him.

“Master, have you heard?”

A bright-smiled man ca to him, and asked.

“Heard of what?”

Old Yuddha asked.

“That the so-called great genius, Kiernan Hunter, is starting his very own dojo here in Montrael. I heard that he already got his master status.”

The bright-smiled man said.

“…How foolish.”

Old Yuddha said, took a sip of the tea, and shook his head in disbelief.

“Foolish… Foolish what?”

The man asked.

“The term genius has been given so easily these days. Back in my day, I had not heard of the term “genius” ever. It used to an sothing!”

Old Yuddha said.

“You think Kiernan is not a genius?”

The man asked in surprise.

In his opinion, anyone who beca Martial King at eighteen years old deserved that title and more.

“…In today’s standards, sure. The level of martial arts is just not what it used to be. It is because of all those video gas, other ans of entertainnt, and this technology that is pushing people away from the wonderful art of martial arts!

“This is why we in Ashram Yuddha are committed to preserving and passing on the tradition of true martial arts to future generations.

“We should not care what that so-called genius is doing. He is not taking martial arts as seriously as we are.

“In a week or two, maybe a month, he will quit this silly side quest of his and will go do sothing else.”

Old Yuddha said.

Montrael, Action Street, Kiernan’s dojo.

“There…”

Kiernan finished carving words on the wooden sign before him. It looked nice, as if he had previous experience in sign-making.

“Whoah~”

Aoi looked at the sign with a bright look and then asked.

“What does Martial Redemption an?”

On the sign, carved with a knife, the words “Martial Redemption” were written in elegant cursive. There were still so wooden splinters left in the grooves.

“Achieving redemption or personal restoration through combat, discipline, or the path of the warrior. That is what Martial Redemption is.

“My dojo will be officially called Martial Redemption, and those seeking personal restoration will find solace and strength within its walls.”

Kiernan walked outside, jumped off the ground high in the air, and then nailed the sign to the front of the building.

It was now visible for everyone to see.
