Chapter 607: Not Funny
With humanity’s pride resting on his shoulders, Zeus shot forward like a sprinter from the starting line.
The lightning crackled in his eyes.
Zeus brought his fist forward. It was fast. But Dawn’s hand swiped from the right and pushed it aside.
In that mont, a layer of ice appeared on Zeus’ fist, which just got brushed aside, and it was freezing his bones solid.
“Tch!”
Zeus backhanded that fist over to Dawn. She blocked it. The ice cracked.
In that mont, Dawn put her hand on his chest, freezing his chest solid, and he imdiately reacted with a strong straight punch.
He landed it at her chest, but she didn’t flinch and instead grabbed his arm and flipped him over her shoulder.
THUMP!
With the heavy force of gravity, Zeus smashed into the ground and coughed blood, but he quickly rolled out to safety.
When he was back standing, his chest and arm had turned blue as if they were frozen all over.
It made him shake as if he were standing in the Frozen Blizzard Mountain Range, which had a survival rate of one percent.
Serious looks appeared on the faces of humans.
“Hehe~”
Yet, Zeus was the only one who was still smiling and laughing. It wasn’t as if he wasn’t worried in the slightest.
He jumped off the ground, reached his hand towards the ceiling, and lightning, shaped like a hamr, appeared on his hands.
“God’s Hamr!”
Zeus scread and struck it down—it ca with such a force that the ground trembled—and yet, the only one who wasn’t shaking under the hamr was Dawn.
She jumped off the ground, pushed her hand against the blunt edge of the lightning hamr, and once she touched it, she froze it solid.
The lightning hamr turned into an ice hamr.
“Lightning Stomp!”
In that mont, Zeus shot his lightning-clad foot towards Dawn, and she dodged it before landing back on the ground.
However, the lightning stomp kept stretching. It followed her like a snake. And when she looked up, she saw the lightning foot coming down to her face.
“What masterful usage of Aura Fusion…”
The humans exclaid, but the Animalkin stayed silent, as they weren’t worried or even impressed.
It was nothing special to them.
“Snow World.”
Dawn tapped the ground with her feet, and everything around her turned to ice—a snow blanket fell over the ice—and the lightning-clad foot also got frozen solid.
“Argh!”
Zeus trembled as the ice started slowly covering him from head to toe. The end was near. He knew that if he didn’t stop this, he was going to lose the fight!
“Co on, Zeus, do sothing!”
“Don’t lose like this!”
“You’re fighting for humanity now!”
With an angry scream, Zeus clad himself with lightning, overcharged himself with the lightning, and unleashed lightning in every direction.
CRACKLE!
Everyone’s hair stood up on end as the energy crackled and sparked around them.
The lightning broke the ice, and Zeus got freed, but there were so burn wounds around his body.
Whenever he overcharged himself with lightning, he played with death, as he could electrocute himself to death or accidentally stop his heart.
“God’s Spear!”
Zeus hurled a thunder spear—it stabbed through the air—and Dawn kicked the spear away before it hit her.
It looked so effortless.
Zeus used most of his strength to hurl that thunder spear, and yet Dawn kicked it away as if it was so trash on the ground.
It didn’t even seem like she exerted any strength to do that.
The difference between Low Stage and High Stage was just so imnse that Zeus couldn’t close that gap with his Aura Fusion abilities.
It was Dawn’s natural physique of Snow Leopard that allowed her to master her Aura Fusion of Snow World to perfection.
She was even better at using Aura Fusion than Zeus, so there was nothing left for him to do except surrender.
‘…If that doesn’t work, then.’
Zeus stepped onto the snow and made his way over to Dawn. He wasn’t using his Aura Fusion anymore.
Dawn put her hand forward, created so snow spears from the falling snow, and hurled them at him.
It almost looked like she was using Martial Ability. It’s insane how skillful her Aura Fusion abilities were.
Zeus slid under the flying spears, closed in on Dawn, and his hands curled tighter and tighter until his nails dug into his palm.
He wanted this fist to land. Oh god, he wanted it to happen so desperately. There was no other choice.
All he had left was to punch and hope that it would land.
The fist arched through the air like a cot in the night. The satisfying crunch of impact never ca.
The wild swings ca, and Dawn dodged them all like a seasoned dancer. The fists hitting empty air was the worst feeling, Zeus thought at that mont.
Smack! Smack! Smack!
Dawn punched him three tis in the chest. The chest bruised, the ribcage cracked with pain, and a painful gasp shot out of Zeus’s mouth.
She thought it was over, but then Zeus grabbed her sports bra, and she gasped in surprise but then felt her feet leaving the ground.
“God’s Thunderous Smash!”
Zeus hurled her at the ground. It sounded like flesh and rock colliding. The impact was brutal.
With delighted faces, the humans stood up and cheered for him loudly, while frowns appeared in the faces of the Animalkin.
Zeus reeled his fist to deliver a skull-crushing punch, but then Dawn jumped up from the ground imdiately.
She did that as soon as she crashed into the wall, as if that hit didn’t hurt in the slightest, but there was a drop of blood falling from the corner of her mouth.
Dawn’s punch landed against Zeus’ chin. The teeth cracked like glass. It was a devastating punch that sent him flying through the air.
A little distance away, Zeus fell to the ground with a bleeding mouth, and he struggled to stand back up.
“Down!”
The referee jumped to the ring and raised his arm.
“Countdown!”
With that, he started the countdown, and the humanity showed grim expressions at the vast difference in their strength.
It wasn’t even funny.
