Wunderland, Rodero, Goo Tea Shop.
With one hand sipping tea and another hand flipping through the pages of the notebook, Xerxus read through those translated texts.
He was sotis frowning, sotis raising an eyebrow, and sotis nodding.
"I think she wrote these texts for a reason. I see that you also wrote which texts are from Green Dungeon, and it looks like you went and cleared every Green Dungeon?"
He asked.
"Yes, I did."
Kiernan said, seated across from him and sipping on his own black tea.
"I think we should clear the Blue Dungeons tomorrow. Once we done with those, then the Yellow Dungeons, but getting there will be more troubleso.
"I’ve read about the dungeon cards needed to get past the guards, and without a yellow card, you can’t enter."
Xerxus said.
"I know what to do. You beat up the guards, and I’ll make sure they won’t rember a thing, but sure, they might be confused as to how co they’re sleeping on duty."
Kiernan said.
"How do you make them forget?"
Xerxus asked with a frown.
"...You’ll see."
Kiernan finished the tea.
"Do you have the High German dictionary ready with you? Another Martial Order eting is happening tomorrow."
Xerxus asked.
"I do."
Kiernan said.
He finished writing the dictionary yesterday night, as he wanted to finish it before Xerxus arrived in case he wanted to see it.
When he was out of the dungeon, he spent every other waking mont just writing the dictionary till his fingers grew numb from holding a pen.
He wished that he could’ve just written it on a computer or sothing, but he already said that he received a dictionary in the form of a notebook, and technological achievents weren’t crazy enough back in the Old Stone Age to have computers.
However, it was also easy to see that the notebook would be rather new, so he purchased so very old notebooks at one of the rchant stops and wrote it down on that old paper.
It still wasn’t enough, as that notebook was only a few hundred years old, so he had to make the notebook look older than it actually was.
’As long as there isn’t so notebook appraisal among the Martial Order, I should be fine. If it manages to fool soone like Imperius, who is probably the oldest mber, then it should be good.’
"Did you handle the Lovely Flower Sect?"
Xerxus asked.
"I did..."
Kiernan said.
Days after the massacre in the Lovely Flower Sect, they received an anonymous word that they were responsible for the serial killings.
They discovered all the corpses of the won, and all the young n of Rodero cried the next day, but then another piece of news ca out.
It was discovered that they were responsible for all the killings, and that shocked the city to its core.
They found evidence of so lost jewelry of the deceased in the rooms of Beatrice and others, which made it easy to link them to the cri scene.
They also discovered that the won of the Lovely Flower Sect were worshippers of the Evil Goddess, Lady Amarelyn.
Their sect compound had all sorts of altars, demonic symbols, and artifacts scattered throughout.
"You do owe Genevieve, as those Paper Puppets definitely weren’t cheap. You have a way to repay her?"
"I do."
Kiernan reached out to his pocket but actually reached out to his inventory and pulled out a faded map.
It was the Duelist’s Map.
There were tis that he even forgot that he was in possession of this, as it hadn’t been the most useful item lately.
He’d been in places with so many powerful people that the map was impossible to read with all the huge red circles.
"What’s this?"
Xerxus asked.
"It’s called the Duelist’s Map. It’s possible to see the locations of every person in the city and their strength."
Kiernan said, opened the map, and showed it to him, which greatly intrigued him.
At that mont, there was a huge red circle over this tea shop. So huge that it covered half of the city. It was Xerxus’ circle.
"It’s an interesting artifact. I believe she will be satisfied with it, but are you sure you want to get rid of it?"
Xerxus asked.
"I haven’t found any use for it lately, and I don’t have anything else that is good enough for her. I have so knowledge, but I’d rather trade with items if I receive item in return."
He said.
"Alright. See you tomorrow, then. Eight in the morning at the entrance of the Great Dungeon."
Xerxus said, and stood up.
With a nod, Kiernan also bade his farewell and headed back ho.
...
Wunderland, Rodero, the Abraham Household.
The water from the shower hose trickled down Aoi’s fair-skinned body while she put so shampoo in her hair and humd a tune.
At that mont, her ears perked up as she heard the front door open and close.
She quickly closed the shower, put her towel on, and left the bathroom, but peeked towards downstairs to see if it really was who she thought it was.
Kiernan was slowly taking his coat off and put his hat hanging from the rack’s hook.
"Hey~"
While jumping into his embrace, Aoi let the towel fall off her naked body and hugged him tightly with a kiss.
"How was the dungeon today~"
"Very good. I’ve earned almost 50 thousand gold coins at the current mont."
Kiernan said with a smile, put his hands behind her back, and lowered them slightly to give a playful squeeze to her butt.
"50 thousand?"
Aoi asked in shock.
It hadn’t even been a week, and Kiernan had already earned an amount of money that would take so ordinary families ten years to make!
It was also why most people in this world wanted to beco martial artists, as it was the easiest way to make money, and why people ca to Rodero.
The dungeon was a dreamland of making money!
However, the ordinary martial artists wouldn’t be able to dream to make the sa money as Kiernan.
Yet still, Yellow, Red, and Black Dungeons would give vastly better gems, and thus more money, so while 50 thousand sounded a lot, it was nothing compared to what Martial Kings and above made.
