The ti passed slowly, as if the World Clock was moving in slow motion today.

The classes went on forever. After classes, they always had a fifteen-minute break before returning back to the sa classroom.

After a while, they had one food break, which lasted one hour, and after that, the students returned to the class for the final classes.

When the last bell of the school day rang, the students excitedly packed their textbooks, notebooks, and supplies into their backpacks before heading out.

Most of them were heading straight to the dormitory, but so friends groups decided to go check out the VR room of the boarding school.

Despite it costing a lot, the boarding school had their very own Infinite Dojo machine. So of them had never even tried it, so they excitedly ran there.

Kiernan, with his eyes barely staying open, returned back to his dorm room and closed the door tightly so that no one could bother him.

'The trade ceremony…'

The six-pointed star was already drawn on the desk. He took so candles from the drawer, lit them, and lit the final one in the center of the star.

Virtus! Sapientia! Honor! Fortitudo! Unitas! Spes!

The six words at the star points were the final touch of the intricate ritual.

The dim room turned slightly brighter with the help of the candles, but then Kierann took out his phone and opened the chat app.

[Revenant: I am ready]

[…]

Monts went by.

After almost five minutes of sitting in the chair, staring at the flickering candles, his phone buzzed with a ssage from Cold Shade.

[Cold Shade: Alright. In three, ready?]

[Revenant: Ready!]

[Cold Shade: Three…

[Cold Shade: Two…]

[Cold Shade: One!]

"Comrcium!"

Swoosh!

A cold wind swept through the room, blowing out the candles and dimming the room once more, but it wasn't pitch black darkness like last night.

He could see that an item had appeared in the middle of the magical circle—it was a brown pouch, stuffed with gold coins, which were almost bursting out!

Kiernan checked it out, and without counting it, he added all the gold coins to his system interface.

Since he rembered how many gold coins he had before, he counted based on how much money he had now after adding the new coins and ca to the conclusion that Cold Shade gave him the right amount of money.

There wasn't one coin too many or too less. It was exactly the correct amount.

[Revenant: Thanks]

[Cold Shade: No problem, have a great day!]

Kiernan was about to close the phone, thought that was pretty much it, but then a person who hadn't spoken for so ti sent a ssage.

[Gentle Rose: Do you have anything else to trade? You had an item of the old world, so perhaps you have sothing else valuable?]

'Anything else… I could purchase Frostbite Bow, which is probably another relic of ancient tis, but I probably wouldn't make any profit from that either.'

Kiernan thought, opened his system interface, and looked at the lottery option.

'Well, no one will ever find out that I have a system with . I doubt anyone in this world even knows what a system is. I could try to cheat the system a little bit…'

[Revenant: I do have sothing. It is not for sale, though. However, it is an interesting item]

[Gentle Rose: Oh? If you are not willing to sell it or trade it, why are you telling about it?]

[Revenant: It is a unique item. Costly, though. I can put money into this item, and it will give sothing in return, like an item]

[Cold Shade: Did you receive this Sword of Maraketh through that item?]

'Oh, she hasn't left her phone yet. I don't mind her hearing about this. Since they're a student and master, Gentle Rose would most likely tell her about it as well.'

[Revenant: Yes]

Kiernan lied, but it helped him to reassure the two that this unique item he was talking about was actually real.

By the sounds of it, the relics of the old world were very rare. A sword of just an ordinary soldier went for nearly 20 thousand gold coins.

It was an insane amount.

[Cold Shade: Is this Sword of Maraketh the best item you've received through that item?]

[Revenant: I've only used it one ti, and it gave Sword of Maraketh]

'She seems to believe that I have this strange item. Or not. She is probably just asking questions to affirm that this item I am talking about is actually real.'

[Gentle Rose: Sounds interesting! What kind of item is that even? It'll give you an item in return… like a genie granting wishes?]

[Revenant: Not quite. It is like a lottery wheel. I put so money into it, the wheel will spin, and when it stops, I get the item where it lands]

[Cold Shade: Does your master know about this item of yours?]

[Revenant: No, you're the only ones that do]

'She is very hesitant still. I don't bla her. It sounds ridiculous.'

[Cold Shade: And how much is one spin of the wheel?]

[Revenant: 50,000 gold coins]

[Cold Shade: So you lost money when I sold the Sword of Maraketh? It doesn't sound like that item of yours is worth it]

[Revenant: The lottery wheel must have good items and bad items. I must've gotten the short end of the stick this ti around, but I want to try the lottery wheel again] Find your next read on My Virtual Library Empire

[Cold Shade: And you need sponsorship for it?]

[Revenant: If you give 100,000 gold coins. I can do two spins. I can give one item to you]

[Cold Shade: What if the items are bad? Will you pay back?]

[Revenant: I will. It might take so ti, but if you aren't satisfied with your item, I definitely will]

[Cold Shade: The deals must be respected in Martial Order. I hope you understand the consequences of failing to honor your word]

[Revenant: I understand]

[Gentle Rose: I also want to try this! I'll give you 50,000 gold coins, so can you do a spin for ?]

[Revenant: Sure]

'That's 150,000 gold coins secured. I get three spins. That is perfect. I'll have to give them three items, but I can choose one for first, and if there is sothing really good, I'll keep that for myself.'

Kiernan thought and began another round of the trade ceremony. It was ti to try this lottery wheel of fortune!
