Chapter 343 - Broken Down Hotel.
Ichiro looked at the paper in his hand and turned his head back to the dilapidated hotel in front of him.
''This can't be called even a one-star hotel…'' He murmured under his breath as he looked at the broken windows, wooden door with cracks, and the sign, which was hanging from a single nail, and it was a matter of ti before it fell down.
Looking around and seeing all the beautiful buildings, it was surprising that there was actually a building that not even a holess person would live in.
But, he knew that this was the correct address. The place where team Arya has been for the past week was this broken-down hotel.
He stuffed the paper inside his back pocket and entered the hotel through the broken doors.
The interior was even worse than the building itself, maybe even worse.
Insects were popping out from the cracks of the wooden floor, and Ichiro grimaced after sniffing the air couple of tis. He thought that soone had died here, but the sll ca from mold and a dozen other things.
''What a sh*thole.'' He said aloud, but apparently, soone heard because a crude voice ca behind him.
''Hmph, if you don't like, you are free to leave, barbarian.'' After hearing the words, Ichiro turned around and narrowed his eyes after seeing a fat man with a bald head and fancy suit.
''And who may you be?'' Ichiro asked after scanning the fat man from head to toe.
''Hmph, my na is Vin, and I am the owner of this sh*thole.'' Vin spat on the ground, which landed straight on top of the insect, who started squirming around and soon died.
''Hmm…'' Ichiro tilted his head and at first thought that the owner of this place was soone poor, but seeing Vin's outfit and deanor. He has wealth but looks very stingy to use his money on anything that has to do with his hotel.
''You seem to be wealthy enough. Is it too much to repair this sh*thole?'' He asked and tapped the wall, which instantly made it crack.
''Hmph.'' Vin snorted and sat down on the wooden chair that was located on the front desk, which was used as receptionist desk, ''There are tourists who are poor as fuck and have no money to stay in more expensive hotels, that's where I co and let them sleep here with fairly cheap price, but of course, I don't want them to have a good ti, that's why I won't repair anything.''
''You don't want them to enjoy their stay? Why?'' Ichiro frowned.
Vin chuckled and took a cigarette from his pocket before lighting it up, ''They are poor, and we don't need them in our beautiful city.''
Ichiro nodded, 'Why do I always et these kinds of idiots…'
''Why are you here, poor?'' Vin asked and saw Ichiro's outfit previously, which scread poor.
''Where does Team Arya stay? I am part of their team.'' He slowly walked to the receptionist's desk.
''Hmm.'' Vin tapped his double chin and shrugged, ''Don't rember, my mory is quite cloudy these days.'' He rubbed his nose and had no intention of answering.
Ichiro's mouth curved into a smirk.
*BAM!*
He slamd both his hands on the desk and leaned closer to Vin, who flinched after sudden noise.
''W-What are you doing?!'' He scread with a shaky voice.
''I am part of Arya's Team. Do you know what happens if I tell my governnt how we were treated?'' Ichiro innocently smiled and decided to advanced technique of his called lying.
Vin slightly sweated, but then he got back his composure, ''Hahaha… T-They wouldn't care about small hotel owner like .''
''I wouldn't be so sure.'' Ichiro leaned back and took a look at the golden wristwatch on Vin's hand, ''Damio's Governnt will throw you under a bus without hesitation. They will bla you for our displeasure.'' He smiled innocently.
Vin paled and started thinking deeply before coming to a conclusion. It was not worth risking everything because of his arrogance.
''H-Here.'' He shakily grabbed a paper, which told the current residents of the hotel and their rooms, ''Room 15…''
''Thanks,'' Ichiro said and left instantly with a small smile.
He knew that his Governnt wouldn't care if they were mistreated, but a small hotel owner like Vin doesn't know that.
Ichiro walked up the wooden stairs, his every step making a loud creaking noise, and at one point, he thought that the stairs couldn't hold his weight.
But, he managed to reach the second floor with relative ease, even though he had few jump scares during the walk up the stairs.
Even during his walk in the ssy hallway, he heard the sound of wood cracking beneath his footsteps.
Gladly, his walk wasn't that long, and soon he arrived at the door with a number 15.
*Knock*
*Knock*
He knocked on the door couple of tis and started waiting for it to be opened.
Soon, the door opened with a loud creak, and Ichiro ca face to face with Patti, who was only wearing a casual t-shirt and sweatpants.
''Ichiro, you are here!'' He looked relieved after seeing him returning safely. They knew his strength, but they didn't know how mad people from Damio was because of their loss.
Ichiro nodded and entered the hotel room. He instantly sighed at the sight.
There were 5 beds, with a very thin blanket and pillow each. The walls were on the color of yellow, and it looked like soone had peed on the walls.
The curtains covered the windows, but they were on the color of brown, making the color combination of the hotel room disturbing.
''Yo!'' Hessu, Antti, and Antero waved their hands after seeing Ichiro appear. They were currently playing cards while sitting around a small wooden table.
Patti closed the hotel door and slowly walked towards the table with Ichiro. He was walking quite carefully because he couldn't relax even for a mont after hearing both creaking and cracking noises coming below him.
Ichiro sat down on the seat next to Hessu and took a glimpse from the narrow gaps of the curtain… The view was the only good thing in the hotel, it showed perfectly the beautiful architecture of the city, and it was miles ahead of Arya's.
