Chapter 263: Hidden Possibilites.
Ichiro bursted into motion as his sword scread death as it was nearing the Rage Beast's neck.
The Rage Beast quickly made his move and put his blade-like claws in front of him,

Only sparks flew as the claws, and the sword collided.
The winner of the collision was soon discovered as Ichiro was getting pushed back!
''Damn!'' Ichiro quickly jumped backward, just in ti to see the Rage Beast using his large limbs to smash his previous spot to smithereens.

Instantly after Ichiro's foot touched the ground, he disappeared and appeared in front of the Rage Beast, who didn't expect the sudden attack!
He put the sword next to his waist and swung it with all his might!

He quickly used his legs' full strength to propel him backward.

The Rage Beast slowly moved his claws around him. They reflected the bright light coming from the ceiling and made it hard for Ichiro to look straight.
''AWOOOO!'' The Rage Beast howled and lunged towards Ichiro with his incredible speed.
In Ichiro's vision, he only saw a slight afterimage forming and soon saw an illusionary face of a monstrous man in front of him.
Ichiro quickly did an upwards slash, while the Rage Beast made a shocking move and used his right foot to strike the sword's blade!
But soon, his feet' nails started growing until they beca almost blade-like!
The blade-like nails stopped the sword perfectly, and he instantly sent a barrage of claw attacks towards Ichiro!
Ichiro quickly recovered his composure and pulled his sword back, but at the sa ti, he also jumped backward to dodge the deadly claws.
The Rage Beast stopped his attack and returned to his beast-like fighting stance.
Ichiro wiped his cold sweat from his forehead and grimaced slightly.
This is the reason why he doesn't like fighting against Mutated Beasts that much.
They are very unpredictable, nothing like humans.

His Legacy technique is around Half-Step Martial King in terms of strength, and he isn't confident that it can kill the Beast.
Also, the Killing Blow works more efficiently if the person was a normal Martial General and not Half-Step Martial King!
Half-Step Martial King is the last rank, which Killing Blow can kill, and he isn't sure will he be able to kill with one strike!
Ichiro glanced at the caras, and almost all thoughts of using those two techniques disappeared.
Arkenthym and the rest will definitely be suspicious of his sudden strength and will beco wary of him, maybe even eliminate him to get rid of the future trouble.

He felt slightly lightheaded because of exhaustion, and the slight blood loss wasn't helping.
''Running is impossible…'' Ichiro murmured and grabbed his sword tighter, ''Fight it is.''

Ichiro's eyes widened as the smoke started leaving his body, making the room's vision very hazy.
''Huff… Huff… Huff…'' He took deep breaths, and his muscles started bulging out of nowhere!
His muscles started moving in perfect rhythm, and his height started increasing by an incredible amount!
His body's height went past 200cm, and it still continued!
