Wu Li’s interview with the famous ’I Don’t Believe’ sister was deed a success.

After finishing the interview, Wu Li inquired about the broadcast ti. The program team scheduled it for 9 PM on the sixth day of the new year, to be aired simultaneously on the television station and the Penguin Video website.

Having concluded his business, Wu Li returned to Shudu from the Capital City on the 19th and reached ho by 3 PM.

State-owned enterprises had late holidays; his parents were still at work, and there was no one else at ho.

After so ti to recuperate, Wu Li’s knife wound had mostly healed, so he decided to fully commit to Bone and Muscle Strengthening to improve his physical fitness.

It had only been a little over a month since Wu Li acquired the system. He had been too busy to focus on Body Training, but now he finally had so free ti.

The dicines needed for Bone and Muscle Strengthening were already prepared by Liu Yuanbo; Wu Li had them mailed from the private club in Chuhua City back to Shudu, and they were already at ho.

Wu Li unpacked the parcels, sorted them out, and poured so pre-asured herbs into a large wooden barrel he had bought, then went to boil water.

This was for an external dicinal Bath. After exercising, Wu Li would soak in it for half an hour, which was beneficial for strengthening muscles and bones.

After boiling several large pots of water and filling the barrel, Wu Li began practicing his Stance next to it.

He started in the Standing Three-body Position. Wu Li spread his legs apart, one to the left and one to the right, his arms encircling each other, head pushing upward, then slowly separated his hands, pushing forward with his left hand and pulling back with his right, as if tearing cotton.

The roots of both shoulders loosened evenly, pulling strength from within the hips—this was the union of shoulders and hips.

The elbows hung downwards drawing strength, the knees hooked inward drawing strength—this was the union of elbows and knees.

Both heels twisted outward in line with the mutual pulling of the hands—this was the union of hands and feet.

This is called the External Three Harmonies.

When the heart qi is stable, the heart unites with intention; when the intention is focused, it unites with qi; the qi should flow naturally with the form of the body without consciously controlling it, thus uniting qi with strength.

This is called the Internal Three Harmonies.

The Fist Scripture says, "In this way, the yin and Yang unite, the upper and lower connect, the internal and external beco one, this is called the Six Harmonies. In reality, the internal and external unite, which is also the unity of yin and yang, and the Inner Strength within the Three-body arises from this."

It may seem profoundly mysterious, this talk of heart, intention, and qi—these are intangible things, difficult to comprehend.

That’s why in the past, martial arts had the concept of true disciples. For ordinary disciples, the master would just teach the chant and the movents, and the rest depended on their own comprehension. If they couldn’t comprehend, it was because they lacked understanding or the right foundation—they weren’t cut out for this path.

For true disciples, the master would correct their movents bit by bit, explain the inner anings of the martial arts chant, and teach them how to apply it in practice.

These were the combined experiences of predecessors and the master’s lifeti of understanding, encompassing the entire heart and soul of a school, making true disciples as important to a master as their own sons!

The martial arts that Wu Li exchanged from the system were certainly of this genuine lineage, with predecessors’ insights and annotations, ensuring that his training was not hindered.

The "heart" refers to what one thinks and desires, like when soone is hungry and wants to eat—this thought is the heart.

Intention, however, is subconscious. When a person is hungry and wants to eat, and there are chopsticks in hand, they subconsciously think of using chopsticks to pick up food—this subconscious is intention.

What’s ant by the union of heart and intention is when you want to eat, you subconsciously know to use chopsticks.

Qi refers to the vital energy inherent in a person, growing stronger with life. Inner qi that flows in the bones is known as bone qi, and qi that strengthens the kidneys is kidney qi.

A person with robust qi will have strong bones, whereas soone with insufficient qi will have weak kidneys—simply put, qi can be seen as the body’s energy.

When you intend to use chopsticks to pick up food, if you are so famished that you don’t even have the energy to hold chopsticks, how can you pick up the food?

Thus, when intention and qi unite, it ans when your subconscious wants to pick up food, your body’s energy is sufficient to enable you to perform this action.

"The last step is the fusion of qi and power, which is actually easier to understand—it’s like using chopsticks to pick up food. Soone who has never used chopsticks, no matter how strong they are, won’t be able to pick up the food with them."

"The so-called fusion of qi and power is when you have the strength to pick up food, you can do so effortlessly."

"The Inner Three Harmonies, simply put, is having the idea of eating and then being able to subconsciously make the motion of picking up the food and easily eating it."

"So, as far as picking up food with chopsticks is concerned, almost all the people from our country are masters of the Inner Three Harmonies."

"At that ti, Wu used the Inner Three Harmonies in Standing Stance which ant he knew how to control his spine to drive the musculoskeletal system of his entire body subconsciously; this is the fusion of heart and intention; at the sa ti, his natural breathing coordinated with his movents because the breathing’s qi is also a type of Inner Qi; this is the fusion of intention and qi; finally, when the musculoskeletal system is fully stretched and coordinates with the breathing qi, this is the fusion of qi and power."

"When you use the correct control thod in Standing Stance and have the supporting Breathing thod with a unified heart and intention, achieving the Inner Three Harmonies naturally leads to Bone and Muscle Strengthening, enhancing the strength of muscles and bones."

"Wu stood in Stance for half an hour, then stripped and soaked his entire body into the wooden tub."

"He closed his eyes, relaxed his body, and began to breathe rhythmically."

"Half an hour later, Wu felt an intense itchiness all over his body, the kind that emanated from his bones."

"Wu knew this was the dicinal effect kicking in; he got up, wiped his body, dressed, and continued Standing Stance."

"This ti, he practiced Plowing in the Twelve Forms, which has a wide range of movents for twisting muscles and stretching the musculoskeletal system."

"After the dicinal bath, the effect of stretching the muscles and bones was much stronger than usual. Wu trained for two hours, sweating profusely, yet he felt pleasantly relaxed."

"Click, Wu heard the door open, and judging by the ti, his parents should be back from work."

"Indeed, the one who opened the door was Wu Wenhua. Seeing Wu inside, he was sowhat surprised, ’You’re back? When was your flight?’"

"Dad, I got here this afternoon," Wu greeted.

"Mom."

Following Wu Wenhua was Chen Ling, holding groceries, and Wu took the initiative to take the groceries from his parents’ hands.

"Did you finish the recording that quickly?" Chen Ling asked.

"It just took a few hours, not much ti at all."

"How did it go? When will it be aired?"

Clearly, Chen Ling’s focus was on the program, which annoyed Wu a little, "Mom, shouldn’t you first care about your son, like asking if my injury has healed?"

Chen Ling, "Well, has your injury healed?"

Wu smiled, "Almost healed."

Chen Ling, "Then tell when is the program airing? What did you and Lu Yu talk about? Did she ask about your family? She..."

Wu, feeling overwheld, said impatiently, "Oh, it airs on the sixth evening at nine. You’ll find out when you watch the show."

Chen Ling paused, then nodded calmly, "Okay, since you’re healed, let’s do a big cleanup after dinner with your dad. The New Year’s fast approaching; we need to tidy the house."

Wu: "..."

Wu Wenhua: "???"

(Thirty thousand favorites already, the next climax in the plot involves Hong Wenbo, you all can guess)
