Fiery Fla enhanced the explosive power of his limbs. Wu Li was currently focusing on training his right foot with the Piercing Kick, and even though he hadn’t reached Master Level, the explosive power in his right foot had already started to surpass that of his left.

Wu Li had never been exposed to Hidden Weapons, so he was clueless about how to go about training Dynamic Vision offered by Eagle Eye. Consequently, he ultimately chose Eagle Eye.

After exchanging his rewards, Wu Li imdiately sensed a change in his eyes, it seed as if everything in his vision had beco a bit clearer.

A 10% enhancent might not seem like much, but in the world of martial arts, often fights are decided by reactions tis of re fractions of a second. Being half a second slower in throwing a punch or dodging could an the difference between victory and defeat.

An increase of 10% in Dynamic Vision, even if it just gave Wu Li a fraction of a second more in reaction ti, was a significant help.

In his personal information, Wu Li’s Passive skills now included Eagle Eye, and Iron Man had beco Endurance Muscle. After conducting a self-test, he found his Neural Response had increased from 135 to 143, and his Overall Score had improved from B- (78%) to B (82%).

From the system’s evaluation, it was evident that the upgrades to Eagle Eye and Iron Man had a considerable positive impact on Wu Li’s performance in the ring.

Looking at his Fan Value of over two million, Wu Li knew that to elevate his Xingyi Fist from proficient to Master Level, he would need two million Fan Value. This ant that he could imdiately complete the first step of the Master’s Path, the Master’s Reality.

However, glancing at the 18 Master Level Experience Cards, Wu Li hesitated. In his fight with Ren Donglai, he had used a Master Level Experience Card, and even though it lasted only ten minutes, it benefited him imnsely.

Through the Experience Card, Wu Li had realized that the Master Level realm of Xingyi Fist involved mastery over Power. The Wave Flipping Power and the corresponding powers of the Five Elents Fist: drilling, chopping, crashing, crossing, and cannon-punching, could be executed by a Master Level of Xingyi Fist effortlessly in any movent.

While modern martial arts primarily employ muscles from all over the body, Internal Fist also involves Muscle Bone Power and the breathing of the internal organs, in addition to Muscle Burst. All these combined to generate Power, which is often stronger than using muscles alone. Hence, many National Martial Arts masters from the period of the Republic, who didn’t appear very tall or muscular, were capable of unleashing astonishing strength.

For example, Sun Lutang, in his advanced age, could still shock open five Japanese Samurai who were restraining him, showing that it wasn’t just muscle strength at play. As people age, muscles tend to atrophy; however, the tendons, bones, and mbranes cultivated intensively over many years can still retain formidable Explosive Power. This is the unique aspect of Internal Fist.

When Wu Li initially used the Master Level Experience Card, he was able to instinctively execute various powers in Xingyi Fist, but he rely knew the patterns without understanding the principles behind them. While the Experience Card allowed him to generate such power, he didn’t know how these powers evolved step by step. Once the experience ti ended, without experience or muscle mory, he could only try to execute those powers blindly.

However, having experienced the realm of Master Level before and with fourteen years of accumulative practice, Wu Li was confident that he could break through to Master Level on his own after a few more experiences, without relying on the system, thus saving two million Fan Value.

Wu Li planned to spend the upcoming ti improving his physical fitness through the training thods of Muscle Strengthening, Bone Strengthening, and Bone Marrow, and to consu the Master Level Experience Cards to assist in breaking through to the next realm. He would attack from both fronts.

At 7am on December 24th, Zhao Zi Wu started accepting orders as usual.

Soon, the DiDi platform assigned him a carpooling request. He first needed to pick up two passengers from Caotang North Road and then another passenger from Nanjing West Road.

Five minutes later, Zhao Zi Wu picked up two passengers on Caotang North Road, a young couple.

As soon as the girl got in the car, she snuggled into the boy’s arms, who was whispering in her ear.

Zhao Zi Wu overheard the words ’Boxing Club,’ ’competition,’ and ’champion,’ taking a glance in the rearview mirror, he saw the girl looking at her boyfriend with admiration.

Zhao Zi Wu smiled to himself, this must be a university couple. Perhaps at school, a girl might adore a boy just for his academic achievents or athletic talent. In contrast, many of the adult couples he’d driven tended to value a man’s job and inco more.

Quickly, Zhao Zi Wu picked up another passenger on Nanjing West Road – a young man who looked to be in his early twenties.

"Driver, please go a bit faster. I’m worried I won’t make it on ti," the young man urged as soon as he got in.

Zhao Zi Wu nodded and casually asked, "What’s the rush?"

The young man replied, "I’m going to sign up at the Boxing Gym."

Zhao Zi Wu was surprised, "Do you have to go this early to sign up? What Boxing Gym is so popular?"

The young man laughed, "Driver, you probably don’t watch much martial arts competition, do you? Have you heard about the Extre Martial Arts Tournant happening in our city?"

When he heard the word ’Boxing Gym,’ the boy in the back seat paused. When the ’Extre Martial Arts Tournant’ was ntioned, he stopped talking altogether, looking at the young man upfront, seemingly interested in what he might say next.

Zhao Zi Wu thought for a mont, "I think I’ve heard the na, but I really don’t pay much attention to martial arts competitions."

The young man nodded, "Last night was the finals of the Extre Martial Arts Tournant. The most famous champion is the instructor at the Boxing Gym I’m going to sign up at. I expect there will be quite a lot of people wanting to sign up today, so I’m worried I’ll miss out if I’m too late."

Zhao Zi Wu: "Oh, don’t worry, I guarantee I’ll get it to you within ten minutes."

"But is it just because he won a championship that so many people are signing up?"

At this point, a boy in the back row suddenly spoke up.

The guy in the front row turned back to look at him and explained, "This championship is different; the opponent used Traditional Martial Arts from start to finish."

"Traditional Martial Arts?" The boy in the back row frowned, then showed so disdain, "Does Traditional Martial Arts still has fighters that can fight?"

The guy looked slightly annoyed, "Go search for Wu Li on Mo Yin, or go online to watch his competition videos, then you’ll know if there are fighters in Traditional Martial Arts!"

"I know Wu Li. I’ve seen his videos on Mo Yin, and I know he beat Ren Donglai, but I really didn’t know he was in the Extre Martial Arts Tournant." The boy’s manner of speaking was a bit arrogant.

He had joined the Boxing Club at university and even represented the school in competitions, winning a championship. He considered himself part of the Martial Arts Circle, but he usually paid more attention to professional boxing matches abroad and wasn’t very interested in MMA, so he really hadn’t known about Wu Li’s participation in the Extre Martial Arts Tournant.

The guy said stiffly, "He took part in the Extre Martial Arts Tournant held in Qi City. He beat several MMA professional fighters in the competition and won the Lightweight Championship."

"Oh." The boy nodded, but his expression still seed unconvinced.

Quiet settled in the car, and after a few minutes, the front-row guy’s destination arrived.

"I suggest you go online and watch videos of Wu Li’s fights; his Traditional Martial Arts skills are truly impressive."

"Tis have changed, and now soone has stepped up.

"Traditional Martial Arts, they really can fight!"

Before getting off, the guy suddenly turned around with a serious face and said this to the boy in the back row, then got off and jogged toward the building ahead.

Zhao Zi Wu watched the guy’s retreating figure, feeling sowhat nostalgic.

Even though he didn’t follow fighting competitions much, he was no stranger to Traditional Martial Arts; after all, his generation grew up reading martial arts novels. Which man hadn’t once dread of becoming a martial arts hero?

Perhaps Traditional Martial Arts weren’t as magical as depicted in martial arts novels, but Zhao Zi Wu still held a beautiful fantasy about them.

"What are you doing?"

A girl’s voice ca from the back row.

"I’m checking if this Wu Li is as good as he’s said to be."

Zhao Zi Wu glanced at the rearview mirror and saw the boy with his phone, apparently watching a video.

"How is it?"

After a while, the girl asked.

"Tch, he seems to be pretty skilled, I’m going to watch more of this," the boy replied.

"Better than you?" the girl asked with a laugh.

"Hmph..." The boy snorted twice and didn’t reply.

Zhao Zi Wu looked ahead and couldn’t help laughing to himself.

He felt inexplicably happy, like when he was a child hiding under the covers reading martial arts novels, feeling thrilled when the protagonist was praised by thousands—not that the praises were for him, but it still felt exhilarating.
