Japan, Tokyo.

When the news that Wu would replace Li San in the duel ca, the Guandong Association imdiately organized a eting.

Besides the Guandong Association, the Black Dragon Group, Fengshan Association, and three other Extre Organizations participated in this eting.

This duel between the Guandong Association and Hongn Zhiyuan Hall involved a total bet of six hundred million US Dollars, as well as many businesses of both sides, covering a vast spectrum of interests. More importantly, victory in the duel would offer a chance to consolidate a footing in the United States, which was very tempting to these Extre Organizations in Japan.

The Guandong Association had previously established a branch in New York but was so pressured by Hongn Zhiyuan Hall that they left in low spirits. As a result, the Chairman of the Guandong Association reached out to four other Extre Organizations to make a joint move into the United States.

Wu’s appearance was a surprise to them, as no one expected Wu to have such a good relationship with Zhiyuan Hall and be willing to fight on their behalf.

"The strength of Wu, who killed Watanabe and defeated Feng Lin of Longhua Association not long ago, might not be inferior to Li San. Are you confident, Xiaoze?" the vice-leader of the Black Dragon Group asked.

After the news ca, all the attendees beca familiar with the information regarding Wu’s previous achievents.

The Chairman of the Guandong Association looked at the others. "The challenge has been issued, whether there’s confidence or not, this battle must be fought!"

The vice-leader of the Black Dragon Association frowned and looked at the others. This kind of response naturally couldn’t satisfy the rest, as three hundred million of the bet was from these other organizations, and so of the stakes involved businesses related to the attending groups. A loss would not only cause severe pain but certainly leave them feeling the sting.

"As far as I know, Watanabe had a high reputation in the Martial Arts World. He had many friends and seniors. Don’t those people want to avenge him after his death at Wu’s hands?" the leader of the Fengshan Association suddenly spoke.

The eyes of the Guandong Association’s Chairman lit up with understanding. "That might be a good approach. I’ll send soone to test the waters."

The Chairman of the Fengshan Association said aningfully, "Especially Watanabe’s teacher, it might take your personal touch, Chairman Xiao."

The Chairman of the Guandong Association, Chairman Xiao, nodded. "I will personally visit that senior."

...

Tokyo, Hirakawa District.

A village in the suburbs, with rice fields visible everywhere, stone paths, and sparse little courtyards dotted about.

The Chairman of the Guandong Association, Xiao Ze, along with Koda Shini and Xiaoze Wutian, drove to the village. They got out of the car just outside the village, where Xiao Ze instructed the bodyguards to wait, and he walked into the village with Koda Shini and Xiaoze Wutian.

"Excuse , do you know where Master Nakagiya is?" Koda Shini asked a man dressed as a farr who was passing by.

The man sized up Koda Shini and the others, then pointed ahead. "Master Nakagiya is farming right now. Keep going down this road, take the fork to the right, and about three hundred ters later you should see him."

"Thank you very much," Koda Shini said politely.

Then the three of them continued on their way and soon found an old man in the middle of a spacious field. The old man had white hair, a lean figure, hardly an ounce of fat, but his entire body was supported by thick sinews. He was working the field with a group of young people.

"That’s Master Nakagiya," Koda Shini pointed to the elder and said to Xiao Ze, "He always has the habit of working in the fields. We might have to wait a while."

After hearing this, Xiao Ze nodded without a trace of impatience on his face.

For soone like him, ti was very precious, with countless matters to attend to every day. Yet here he was, standing beside a field watching an old man farm, without uttering a word to hurry him.

Others might not have shown such respect, not even Sword Masters like Koda Shini, but this person was different. He had the stature to make Xiao Ze wait because he was Nakagiya Osamu.

Nakagiya Osamu, a Sword Grandmaster, known as a Sword Saint in the Island Country Martial Arts World!

Through the history of Japan, those who had earned the title of Sword Saint were few, each a dazzling genius of their era.

Nakagiya Osamu, aged seventy-one this year, beca renowned at twenty and participated in thirty-four Real Sword duels in his lifeti, undefeated. Among his defeated opponents included representatives of twenty-one swordsmanship schools, all worthy of the title of Sword Master, yet all fell to his sword.

At fifty-three, Nakagiya Osamu publicly dueled Jiro Murasaki of the One Sword Style, the Sword Master from the north of Japan, and defeated him in just three moves. Murasaki called him Sword Saint, a title gradually acknowledged by the Island Country Martial Arts World.

To this day, Nakagiya Osamu had withdrawn from the Martial Arts World, taking up farming in the countryside, but he also taught several disciples, among whom Watanabe Ryosuke was one.

Under the blazing sun, Xiao Ze and his companions were drenched in sweat after standing for over an hour when Nakagiya Osamu finally finished farming and walked towards them.

"Master Nakagiya, this is the Chairman of the Guandong Association, Xiao Ze. This is my disciple, Xiaoze Wutian."

Koda Shini introduced them to Nakagiya Osamu. Having been close friends with Watanabe Ryosuke, he had t Nakagiya Osamu several tis before.

Nakagiya Osamu had mud on his hands, which he casually shook off, looking like an ordinary rural farr with a straw hat, calmly appraising the two in front of him.

"Master Nakagiya."

"Esteed Mr. Nakagiya."

Xiao Ze and Xiaoze Wutian gave their respects.

Nakagiya Osamu nodded, only sweeping a glance at Xiao Ze before turning away, but he took a longer look at Xiaoze Wutian.

"A clear ntal State and evident Fist Intent, not bad. How old are you this year?", Nakagiya Osamu asked Xiaoze Wutian.

Xiaoze Wutian replied respectfully, "Master Nakagiya, I am nineteen years old this year."

Nakagiya Osamu showed approval and said to Koda Shini, "Good job, Koda. You’ve taken on a fine disciple."

Koda Shini was all smiles, feeling inwardly rather proud.

"Let’s go."

Nakagiya Osamu took the lead and walked ahead, bringing everyone to a courtyard.

The courtyard was modest, with several middle-aged people also dressed simply, cleaning around. They greeted Nakagiya Osamu respectfully, calling him teacher.

"What brings you here?" Nakagiya Osamu asked directly.

He was not prone to small talk or pleasantries, turning to Koda Shini for an answer as soon as they entered the courtyard.

Koda Shini glanced at Xiao Ze and began, "Master Nakagiya, you must be aware of what happened to Watanabe?"

Nakagiya Osamu nodded at the words, a trace of sorrow crossing his face. "I knew. When he chose that path, I knew this day would co sooner or later."
