Bang! Bang!

Bursts of gunfire rang out, sending wood chips flying.

In the lobby on the first floor, Wu Li darted out like a civet cat, causing the three shots from Fourth Brother to miss.

"Take the old man sowhere else!"

Fourth Brother roared, then continued shooting at Wu Li.

Wu Li felt a chill in his heart. Had Old Li fallen into the enemy’s hands?

Suppressing his worries, Wu Li dared not think further. He continued to exert himself in dodging.

That was Fourth Brother’s goal. He wanted the enemy distracted while also keeping an escape route for himself, just in case sothing unexpected happened. The enemy would rember they still held a hostage and wouldn’t imdiately kill him.

Fourth Brother’s real na was Liu Qi. He ca from the Southern Country to Hua Country and had trafficked drugs in Yun Province for many years. He was as fierce as a tiger and as cunning as a fox. From receiving the call from the man in glasses to Wu Li’s sudden outbreak, it only took a few seconds for him to react and deliberately shout out such words, showing his cunning.

Bang!

Wu Li dodged another bullet. He hadn’t learned how to dodge bullets, but he knew to minimize his target, keep himself moving at high speed, and constantly change directions to reduce the likelihood of getting hit.

At this mont, he continuously changed directions using the Horse Jumping Creek step technique, then crouched into Monkey Form once he landed. He curled up, using tables and chairs to block Liu Qi’s line of sight and dodge bullets.

During this process, Wu Li was highly focused, his senses extrely sharp toward everything around him. Whenever his opponent aid the gun, his body reacted instinctively, like flinching from a needle prick. Wu Li always managed to exert force in advance to dodge the bullets.

"Previously, I was never in this state when I was highly concentrated. It seems to be the advantage of having initially touched on the Fist Intent tonight."

Wu Li thought to himself, growing calr inside while his exertions intensified.

Even if he could predict the opponent’s shooting actions in advance, he still needed sufficient speed and strength to support his quick dodging, or else, even if he could react, he would still just watch himself get hit.

Liu Qi fired five shots in succession, all dodged by Wu Li, causing him to frown: When did such an expert appear in Yun Province?

Zhao Kai was surprised to see Wu Li’s ghost-like form, dodging bullets at close range—sothing he had only heard from his seniors at the police headquarters as having been done by his master, Li Changsheng. It had always been a legend in the police community of Yun Province.

Zhao Kai asked Li Changsheng how he had done it, and Li told him: Battle-hardened veterans have a sixth sense that allows them to subconsciously dodge danger. And if a martial artist can develop Fist Intent, where their spirit is exceptionally focused, undergoing a qualitative change, they can have even sharper instincts than those battle-hardened veterans!

Zhao Kai had never fully understood what Li Changsheng ant by Fist Intent. Like today when Li Changsheng had demonstrated a set of Vajra Eight Forms of Baji Fist specially for Wu Li, the burst of montum was inexplicably aningful. Zhao Kai knew that must have been the Fist Intent his master referred to, but he couldn’t even grasp the threshold.

Zhao Kai felt admiration seeing Wu Li sharply dodge all the bullets. His skill level must be close to that of his master, and he was still very young, at his physical peak!

A lot to say, but from the mont Wu Li suddenly rushed downstairs to kill, to now continuously dodging bullets, it was just under ten seconds. Hope rekindled in Zhao Kai’s heart.

He observed Wu Li’s position, and suddenly exerted force, kicking fiercely at Liu Qi with his bound legs. At the sa ti, he shouted loudly, "Wu Li!"

Liu Qi’s stance was stable; he didn’t fall but staggered to the side.

Wu Li, hearing Zhao Kai’s shout, looked up.

Opportunity!

While dodging bullets, Wu Li had been gradually closing the distance between himself and his opponent. Now roughly seven or eight steps apart, seeing Zhao Kai create an opportunity, he imdiately pounced without hesitation.

Tiger Pounce!

Liu Qi’s body hadn’t steadied yet. Raising his hand to shoot, he was still a step too slow.

A gust of wind rushed at his face, and Wu Li, in a few steps, reached Liu Qi, performing the sa movent he used earlier to kill the underling. With both hands thrusting forward, picking up, he accurately targeted Liu Qi’s wrist holding the gun.

After picking up, it was ti to thrust down.

With no blocks or parries, just one move, Tiger Hugging Head!

Wu Li’s current Tiger Form Splitting Fist was extrely powerful. If it hit the head, it could crack the skull! If his strength increased further, later on Tiger Hugging Head might well be renad Tiger Headshot.

The air tore apart, Wu Li’s fists were like axes of gold, fiercely chopping down.

Liu Qi’s gun had already flown from his hand. Facing Wu Li’s ferocious Tiger Form Splitting Fist, surprise was evident in his eyes. He hadn’t expected his opponent to suddenly unleash such speed and power.
