’Only two kinds?’

’Don’t tell

it’s limiting

because I’ve been grinding too much.’

He pushed the stray thought aside and placed the water vat on the counter to sell.

A mont later, Points

5.

Cheng Zongyang was speechless. He put it back and left the marketplace hut, muttering under his breath.

"It’s always the sa few fish. Don’t you want any other types? Picky eaters never grow up strong."

Not far away, Ma San, who was clearing land, caught sight of soone erging from the hut out of the corner of his eye and imdiately looked over. Seeing it was Cheng Zongyang, he quickly walked over.

"Sir," Ma San said, clasping his hands in a salute.

"Any problems the last two days?" Cheng Zongyang asked.

Ma San smiled. "None at all, everything’s fine. I’ve changed the water in the pond, and the fence is done. There are only about two acres of land left to clear..."

Ma San reported on everything he had accomplished, one by one.

Cheng Zongyang nodded in satisfaction as he listened to the report.

A simple new pigsty was built, the guardrail for the pond was finished, only two or three acres of farmland were left to till, and he’d even found ti to make so simple wooden beds and stools.

To get so much done in two days ant Ma San must have been working day and night.

It was a good thing he had the constitution of an Eighth Grade Martial Artist.

"Good work. Make sure to balance work and rest. Rest when you need to," Cheng Zongyang reminded him.

"Thank you for your concern, Sir. I’ll rember that. Shall I get back to it then?" Ma San asked.

"Not just yet. I’ll be getting twenty pairs of chicks and two calves soon. You should prepare a place for them first, so I have sowhere to put them when they arrive."

Hearing this, Ma San imdiately replied, "For the chicks and calves, we can let them roam free during the day and bring them back to their enclosure at night. I’ll go build a chicken coop and a cowshed right away, so they’ll have a place to live."

"Alright. Let

know when you’re done."

"Yes, Sir." Ma San saluted with clasped hands and departed.

Watching Ma San’s diligent figure, Cheng Zongyang was filled with emotion. Having an extra worker really made a difference. It had saved him so much trouble.

’Hmm... I’ve got it. The Purchase Request section can be used to request Soul Crystal Stones. If I just rely on the store refreshing, who knows how long it’ll take to increase the population. I need to build up the population of the Wilderness World first. That ans I have to keep earning Points to request Soul Crystal Stones.’

Cheng Zongyang didn’t stay idle either. He grabbed two large baskets and headed for the river.

The quota for today was only four hundred fish, but four hundred Points was still a lot.

But when he reached the riverbank, he found the bamboo net was sowhat torn. Upon closer inspection, so parts looked like they had been gnawed by teeth, while other spots had claw marks.

He imdiately started searching the area for tracks and finally found a footprint resembling a bear’s paw in a muddy hollow by the stream.

At this sight, Cheng Zongyang’s eyes lit up, and he imdiately began searching the surroundings.

Slowly, he made his way to the opposite bank and saw the remains of half-eaten fish. Mostly just the heads and tails were left, and judging by how bloated they were, they had likely been there for a day.

’It must have co from the other side of the partition. If another bear shows up, that would be perfect!’

Last ti, he had to sell the bear for money. This ti, he could finally exchange one for Points, and the Bear Gall could be used for dicine.

Cheng Zongyang turned back, picked up the bamboo net, and began to block the school of fish.

Although it was torn in a few places, it was still usable.

Fishing selectively took more ti. It took him nearly five hours to catch the four hundred fish.

It was a good thing the fish were so abundant here.

’I’ll definitely have to check out the source of this river in the future. It can’t be in the mountains, or else there wouldn’t be this many fish.’

He glanced at the sky. The sun was already setting in the west.

Spending the whole afternoon to collect his daily quota of Points ant he had accomplished his goal.

If it weren’t for the fact that Ma San couldn’t see interfaces like the Acquisition tab or make trades, he would have handed this task over to him.

Next, it was ti to post his first purchase request.
