"Stop being jealous when you see people making money!"
Chen Xi spoke happily.
Through his storytelling, Su Tu learned what Chen Xi had gone through during his disappearance.
Earlier, when Chen Xi realized the person wasn’t Su Tu, he planned to leave and call the police. The scent of the corpse on the ground made him feel a bit nauseous.
However, the person stopped him, spouting nonsensical words, making Chen Xi think this guy might have so relation to Su Tu.
Clone plans, Sky Net operation, replacent sches, scenes from novels and TV shows like twins flashed through Chen Xi’s mind.
Just when Chen Xi was extrely nervous, several staff mbers erged, and the blood-haired Su Tu smiled.
He claid he was a small actor there searching for a vibe, and since Chen Xi seed to recognize him, he temporarily acted a scene.
Upon hearing this, Chen Xi breathed a sigh of relief and shared that he had a friend who looked very much like him.
The actor found the idea of soone in the world looking exactly like him intriguing and invited Chen Xi to a nearby RV to rest and chat.
Chen Xi also found it interesting, so he followed.
"Ahem, ahem, little Tu, brother doesn’t an anything else, your uncle is indeed handso, you said he went adventuring in Star River when he was young... ahem, ahem."
Chen Xi mischievously winked at Su Tu.
"Rest assured, I’m your only dad, you don’t have any uncles and such."
Su Tu retorted, and Chen Xi was equally unwilling to back down: "Bastard, I don’t think you want to inherit my great position, believe , I’ll remove your Crown Prince title."
The two began their classic bantering.
Between friends, it’s like this; distance doesn’t create estrangent.
As they chatted, they returned to the park for so barbecue, and while Chen Xi was about to showcase his culinary skill, those blackened items were too much for Su Tu to bear.
Just had to step in; simple grilling emitted an astonishing aroma in his hands.
Many around them salivated at their location, while Chen Xi directly started gobbling down, afraid others would co to mooch.
[You grilled a perfect barbecue, Divine Cuisine skill level 500]
[Divine Cuisine (Initial Tier): 500/10000]
Looking at Chen Xi with his belly full and round, Su Tu said exasperatedly, "Didn’t you say you’d show your culinary skill?"
"Is this how you showcase?"
Chen Xi lay on the ground with a satisfied expression, clutching his belly: "I’m giving you a chance to showcase."
"Oh, thank you very much."
"Among us brothers, no formalities, try harder next ti." Chen Xi waved his hand as he spoke.
Then, the two packed up the dining cloth, and darn it, went on to play gas online, as any boys’ gathering invariably becos gaming.
After a while, Chen Xi’s ntor called him to urgently report for sothing, prompting him to hurry back.
"Didn’t expect you to be so esteed, as a father, I feel gratified."
Su Tu spoke with a laugh.
"Get lost, I’m off now, rember to contact if there’s anything, can’t handle big affaires, unwilling to tackle minor matters."
Chen Xi packed his things and bid farewell to Su Tu.
Soon, a hover vehicle ca to pick up Chen Xi.
After boarding, the car window suddenly opened, Chen Xi leaned out to look at Su Tu: "He was quite curious about the things between us, probed a lot about you."
"You know , buddy talks to outsiders, loves little fibs."
As he said this, Chen Xi showed a classic mischievous smile, but couldn’t hide his worry in his eyes.
"Alright." Su Tu replied.
Afterward, the window closed slowly, and the hovercar ascended into the sky at high speed.
Watching the hovercar disappear before him, Su Tu took a deep breath.
As expected, Xi knew sothing was off, as childhood friends they were too familiar with each other. Chen Xi might seem carefree, indifferent, and even a bit absent-minded.
But Su Tu knew Chen Xi’s mind was ticulous, sotis noticing even details Su Tu overlooked.
A person appeared out of nowhere, looking exactly like his childhood friend, yet an actor. Would he believe it?
Of course, he would; he’d believe anything you say. But how he ’believes’ or lets ’believe’ is a different matter.
Chen Xi knows although the relationship with Su Tu hasn’t changed, Su Tu’s path into Martial Arts Dao is a journey of major contention.
He isn’t sure what dangers, how many adversaries Su Tu will face.
He can’t help Su Tu on this path, but at least he shouldn’t drag him down.
Riding the hovercar, Chen Xi arrived at a strictly guarded laboratory.
A middle-aged man with a scruffy beard, sporting panda eyes, was watching so data.
"Oh wow, you finally ca. Look, this is the formula derived from that power in your body, it’s amazing, really amazing."
"It’s a special power that can be generated within the Human Race’s body. If the experint succeeds, we’ll be immortalized."
"Allow the Human Race to possess a second path to enhance life levels, aside from Martial Arts Dao!!"
The middle-aged man spoke excitedly to Chen Xi.
But Chen Xi appeared very calm, his frail body sowhat trembling, eyes hazy and conflicted, finally replaced by an indescribable resolve.
"Teacher, do you rember the experint you previously ntioned to ?"
Upon hearing this, the middle-aged man first paused, then asked, "What are you planning?"
"I want to give it a try." Chen Xi looked up and said to the man in front of him.
