After morizing that spell in his mind, Su Tu found that the strand of hair in his hand did not dissipate but slowly floated up under the pull of a certain force.

Floating towards the village.

Su Tu closely followed, trailing behind that strand of hair.

Not long after, Su Tu saw a courtyard. This courtyard had no door, and the walls all around were stained crimson. Even after countless years had passed, it still emitted a heavy, intense sll of blood.

In the very center of the courtyard was an enormous skeleton, the skeleton of a plow ox. Its horns were missing, and its body stood upright, with its mouth wide open, and at remnants clinging to its teeth.

This scene, Su Tu had seen in his dreams.

This was the oldest plow ox in the village. In Su Tu’s dreams, it stood on its hind legs and devoured its owner, causing n to wail in anguish and won to descend into madness.

Looking back now, the owner devoured by this plow ox was the sa chief who took his grandson, dreaming of immortality!

This was the final scene in his dream, also the place where Su Tu saw won’s heads sprouting flesh and blood.

The dream ended abruptly here, but Su Tu knew that all absurdity and decay would begin from here.

Su Tu stepped into the courtyard, his gaze swept around, this large courtyard seed to be the ancestral ho of the entire village.

All around were many stone tablets, engraved with the nas of ancestors.

Strangely, these ancestors of the villagers had given nas, but no surnas.

This isn’t entirely accurate, these nas used to have gaps before them, perhaps at one ti the tablets bore their full nas, but so great power later erased their surnas.

"Co out!"

"Or never co out!"

Su Tu suddenly spoke, his voice incomparably cold, echoing in this ancestral ho long deserted and loneso.

The ancestry gave no sound in response to Su Tu.

A glimr of cold light flashed in his eyes; his Heart and Spirit sensed the presence here akin to ’infant spirits’.

But unlike those pure infants, these spirits were filthy like a mire of dirt piled together, just sensing them made Su Tu feel extrely nauseated.

The corner of his personal world opened up, a massive power of the Heart and Spirit erupted instantly.

Like a torrent of beasts, although Su Tu had not yet mastered any Divine Techniques nor summoned the extraordinary, just relying on the impact of the power of the Heart and Spirit was enough to deal with these spirits.

"Aaaah!!!"

A wail sounded, as a figure tumbled painfully on the ground, writhing in tornt.

Under the impact of Su Tu’s powerful Heart and Spirit, that figure’s entire body seed like a water stain evaporated by the scorching sun, instantly turning into a wisp of smoke amidst screams of agony.

"Immortal, Immortal spare us, Immortal!!"

"Misunderstanding, Immortal, it’s all a misunderstanding!!"

Pleading voices suddenly rang out all around, as nurous transparent figures appeared out of thin air. They wore ragged clothes, so faces Su Tu recognized, having seen them in his dreams.

The leader among them was particularly familiar to Su Tu, it was the very chief who had been eaten by the ox.

"After so many years, finally we have waited for the Immortal, quickly kneel before the Immortal!"

With the chief’s voice, that group of True Spirits all knelt to the ground. They were True Spirits, the True Spirits of ordinary people are fragile, not cultivating Heart and Spirit, their bodily death ant the demise of the Heart and Spirit, True Spirits naturally dispersed, impossible to exist for so long.

In this village, so mysterious force had preserved their True Spirits.

"Please, mighty Immortal, save us!"

"Sob, sob, the rciful Immortal saved those infants, surely they will save us too."

"Finally, the Immortal has arrived!!"

These villagers’ True Spirits wailed, lanting, like oppressed victims, finally awaiting the grand lord of QingTian.

But...

Su Tu noticed that there were no won among them, all were n of the fields, and the ones crying the hardest, Su Tu distinctly rembered their faces.

They were the ones who had agreed at the village entrance to go out and find infants.

Not a word of what these people said could be trusted, it was definitely all lies.

Sensing the filthy aura emanating from them, Su Tu didn’t even want to speak.

The tragedies of the past must be linked to them, without a doubt. Just looking at the Hundred Infant Rope at the village entrance, Su Tu felt that rely letting their Heart and Spirit perish was too lenient....

He coldly scanned over the True Spirits kneeling on the ground.

Every one of them was too filthy to behold, none among these people were innocent!!

"For their souls to be scattered is too lenient.."

Such were Su Tu’s thoughts.

His personal world was one with him, and his thoughts conveyed to the extraordinary.

The previously lethargic big cat instantly stood up, letting out a low growl.

A notion erged in Su Tu’s heart.

"Big cat, do you have ans to let them fall into terror?"

This was the first ti the big cat expressed its thoughts to Su Tu, usually, it was either asleep, acting cute, or preventing Su Tu from pulling its fur.

"Roar!!"

The big cat roared again in his personal world.

"Alright, I trust you!"

Su Tu’s lips curled up.

Suddenly, his personal world opened, these fragile True Spirits had no resistance when facing Su Tu, instantly being absorbed into that personal world.

"Immortal, what are you doing!!"

"No, no, no!!! I feel an aura more terrifying than the divine ox!!"

"Let us go!! Let us go!!"

The villagers cried out in terror.

Yet, Su Tu didn’t even bother to respond to them.

He stepped forward a few paces, looking at that massive ox skeleton, kicked it with a foot.

Rumble!!

A powerful force instantly shattered the upright ox bones into fragnts.

Judging from the village chief’s words in the past recollection, those infants suffered because of this so-called divine ox.

Such a disgusting thing, leaving even its bones would be too good for it.

Looking at the whole courtyard, Su Tu was filled with an indescribable nausea and disgust.

He stretched a bit, then a cold light flashed in his eyes, with such vile entities born here, what use is the ancestry that breeds them?

A series of crushing, cracking sounds ca from within the ancestral ho, the buildings collapsed, tombstones and pillars shattered.

The entire ancestral lineage was razed to the ground by Su Tu.

The quiet floating strands of hair once again emitted a faint glow.

A new mory ca forth.

"Eat!! Eat it!!"

"Hurry up and eat! Damn it, woman, eat so we can get better!"

"Why cry? This is fairy at, common people don’t even have the chance to eat it!"

"Don’t you fucking know how lucky you are!!"

The n kept pushing the fragnts of at into their wives’ mouths.

So won refused to comply, and an angry glint appeared in a tall man’s eyes. He picked up pliers beside him and pulled out each of the woman’s teeth before forcefully feeding the fragnts of at and limbs into her mouth.

The wails echoed throughout the courtyard, the world... like hell....

"Village Chief, sir, it’s all eaten clean, not a piece of at left!" a tall man said excitedly, blood splattered on his face, which he licked with his tongue.

"The head wasn’t touched, right?" the village chief asked indifferently.

"No, everything was done according to the instructions of the divine ox: consu its flesh and blood, leave its head intact."

"Hmm, very good. Won are ignorant, you need to help them understand, this is a big matter for the whole village."

"They have consud the flesh and blood of an immortal, maybe they could beco immortal themselves. Make them happy, don’t let them cry."

The village chief listened to the cries around him, a little impatient.

"Understood, Village Chief!"

"We’ve done everything according to the divine ox’s words, she... won’t co to take revenge on us, right..?"

"Of course not, revenge is nonsense; her body is gone and her spirit is trapped in the village, unable to leave. Her blessings are all ours."

"Soon, you, , everyone, we will all be immortals!!"

"Hahahahaha, all immortals!!" The village chief laughed maniacally, and the n around him laughed along.

The n forcing the won to eat flesh in the courtyard also started laughing collectively.

Crying and crazed laughter intertwined, like playing a requiem.

The song ended.

Su Tu gazed indifferently, an ambiguous smile at the corners of his mouth.

"Becoming immortals... becoming immortals..." he softly repeated the words of those deranged n from mory.

The truth didn’t matter anymore.

Just seeing the fates of these won and infants made Su Tu feel the rage boiling, roaring in his heart.

He was neither a small-minded person nor did he claim to be a gentleman, but facing this disgusting, filthy, unbearable reality...

He suddenly felt grateful, grateful that those true spirits could still exist until now...

Because only with this could Su Tu make them truly experience a scene more horrifying than the hell they once created.

"Big cat, if you don’t want a diterranean hairline, let their wails never cease." Su Tu spoke calmly.

Within my own world.

The big cat stood upright, waves of black flowed over its slightly platinum fur, ’Netherworld’ inscrutable and deep erged beneath its feet.

It stepped upon the netherworld as if suppressing all that was at the depths of the netherworld, yet there was no chilling atmosphere, but rather an indescribable majesty and holiness...

However, this awe-inspiring White Tiger, upon hearing Su Tu’s words, instantly covered its head with its paws, sowhat ruining its majestic image.

"Aow!!!!!"

Then, it let out a roar, and those true spirits captured were quickly absorbed into the netherworld beneath its feet.

Clatter!!!

Then the netherworld closed, everything dissipated and disappeared.

Yet as Su Tu’s heart thought stirred slightly, another scene appeared before his eyes.

It was the villagers, bound by chains one by one, the chains bright red and scorching, pressing onto them and soon a fragrant sll of at wafted.

"Ahhhh!!!"

"Where is this!! Let us go!"

"No!! I want to go back, I want to go back!!"

The villagers wailed in pain, the village chief wailed so much he couldn’t speak a word.

But soon, all the villagers couldn’t speak either, because small, diminutive ghosts were hopping out from all directions.

They wore eerie smiles, each holding an enormous pair of scissors, approaching the villagers, before they could speak, they directly pulled out their tongues.

Under the horrified gaze of the villagers, their tongues were cut off by the little ghosts.

However, they could not even utter a wail as if with that cut, they lost even the right to scream.

After cutting off the tongues, the little ghosts beca even more excited, they started jumping and dancing, aiming now at the villagers’ [five limbs].

Snap! Snap!!!

The chilling sound echoed continuously.

The unspeakable pain drove them to collapse, into despair, tears flowed endlessly, but soon, even their eyeballs were... snap~

The true spirits were wavering, never had they so longed for oblivion.

They once clamored to beco immortals, now they only wished to die.

"Finally.. can we die now..." The village chief, for the first ti, found death to be so beautiful, as his body was sliced in half with a single cut by two little ghosts, his consciousness instantly dissipated.

Yet the next mont...

He woke up in terror, he hadn’t perished, the true spirit was still there, all the villagers looked at each other, no joy on their faces.

There was only deeper despair.

Because... before them, more little ghosts appeared, and a gigantic cauldron of boiling... oil!!

"No!! No!! I beg you, let go, I’ll tell you everything!"

"Please, please, I’m willing to say anything!"

"It’s my fault, it’s our fault, we shouldn’t have listened to that demon cow and hard Ah Chang."

"But... but Ah Chang is also wrong!"

"She had the power to weep tears of pearls, her fallen hair could turn to silver, yet she watched our village remain poor and disaster-stricken without helping. It’s her fault too that led to all this."

Amidst the village chief’s cries, the past that had been sealed away, slowly unveiled....

.....
