When she had stood up to get so of the tougher animal skins on the stone table to use as rope to tie the bone to the stick, her gaze followed the flickering light, and she noticed that Mr. Gray Wolf’s face was unusually red.
Ruan Qiuqiu hastily put down the weapon and made her way to the stone bed. She reached out her hand to check the temperature on his forehead. It was very hot. He had a fever.
Ruan Qiuqiu’s worries had co true. She had been thinking that Mr. Gray Wolf’s serious injuries might lead to inflammation or cause fever. That’s why she had boiled the water as well as adding a droplet of healing water to the water she had used to clean his injuries.
Despite the precautions she had taken, he had still gotten a fever.

In the novel, Mr. Gray Wolf and her were dood to die. If she wanted to change their endings, she had to work harder.

Although Ruan Qiuqiu didn’t know how strong Mr. Gray Wolf was, she guessed that he was most likely level 3 and about to break through to level 4 before he got seriously injured.
Although this level 2 fiend core didn’t have the sa elental attribute as Mr. Gray Wolf, if she kept it for him and exchanged it for a fiend core of his type later on, he would be able to break through to the next level and make a demon core.
T/N: It was ntioned in chapter part 35 that Yuan Jue used to be a level 5 demon. Ruan Qiuqiu’s knowledge is based on what she read in the novel, so although her inferences about Yuan Jue are reasonable based on what she knows, most of them are wrong.
