~Mala’s POV
I missed the feeling of those succulent lips on mine, the feeling of his strong grip around my waist, his scent running through my nose and his voice whispering into my ears.
Tears stread down my face. This ti, not because I was unhappy, but because sothing I had always prayed for had co to pass.
I almost left ...I almost fled but then I rembered it was the crescent night and I was willing to risk everything, even my life.
"Thank you, Mala."
Francis broke the kiss and pulled into his embrace. "I’m never letting you go, Mala...not even in my grave," Francis cried.
The next thing I knew, we appeared in Francis’ room. I held his head up, and he still had his eyes shut. I slowly ran my hands along his jawline, sobbing.
"Look into my eyes, Francis," I requested.
"I have tried...I have tried, Mala. I tried countless tis but it always hurts. I’m sorry, Mala but I can’t," Francis cried like a child. Every word that ca out of his mouth was laced with the pain in his heart.
It ward my heart Francis was no longer holding back. He comfortable cried in my hands but for how long were we going to continue like that? Avoiding each other’s gaze?
"Look into my eyes, Francis. Just this once," I begged.
Francis shook his head. "I can’t Mala."
Then I asked, "For how long do you want to keep being afraid of ?"
Maybe it was the fear.
Maybe it was the fright.
Maybe it was the fear that I would end up killing him was what created the repelling force between us.
"I am yours, now Francis. And I swear to you that I would never raise my hands to hurt you. Trust .....you have nothing to be scared of Francis, please," I cried.
My heart raced as Francis slowly opened his eyes. But the mont his eyes t with mine, he imdiately looked away again and groaned.
I fell to the ground and sobbed...would we really avoid each other’s gaze forever?
"Maybe it’s a sign Mala," Francis suddenly said.
I was silent.
"Maybe it’s a sign that we aren’t ant to be and that’s why I can’t look into your eyes," Francis added.
"It’s not true," I cried.
"It is, Mala. Too bad, I can," he said and he suddenly turned towards . Francis looked directly into my eyes and a smirk flashed across his face.
His warm yet strong gaze did sothing to that I couldn’t explain.
Francis picked up, grabbed my waist and kissed . His hands gently ran across my body. My hands were buried in his hair as he carried up.
"It won’t hurt...I promise," Francis whispered into my ears before laying on the bed.
He ripped my dress open and gazed at my body for a while.
My heart raced....I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t know what having sex with a man called the devil would feel like. I couldn’t tell if it would be filled with imnse pleasure, or pure pain.
Francis smiled at and kissed again...this ti the kiss intensified. He explored every corner of my mouth with his tongue and he slowly went down to my neck.
My hands gently took of his shirt. He took his clothes from my hands and tossed them.
"I’ll explore every part of your body, leaving you with nothing to be ashad of," Francis whispered.
I felt a knot in my stomach and without a warning, he took my breasts into his mouth.
Our skins rubbbed against each other, our sweats collided and our breathes were heavy.
I felt his fingers dive into , sending pleasure across my body. I felt the heat and I dripped, ready to accept every ounce of him.
Slowly, he dived into , increasing his pace as ti went bow.
The walls were filled with my moans and my voice calling out his na.
For the first ti, I felt a man inside of ...and it wasn’t just any man, but a man I loved.
Together, we defiled the sheets and made the room unholy.
******
I slowly opened my eyes and the first thing I rembered was what had happened the night before. How shaless we were, how loud I moaned and how hard he thrusted inside of .
I opened my eyes and I could swear I was a red as a tomatoe, only to find him staring directly at . I imdiately turned away and buried my face in the sheets.
Can he at least give ti to recover?
"You’re shy now?" He asked and he let out a chuckle.
I shook my head, denying it if even though it was so obvious.
"You were quite shaless last night when you asked to go faster, though," he said and he kissed my forehead.
"Can you please not talk about it?" I begged, sounding almost inaudible.
"So now we’re both going to pretend like nothing happened?" He asked and I shook my head.
"Co," Francis said, holding my hand.
"Can I....at least get dressed?" I asked.
I didn’t know why but I felt embarrassed. Don’t bla ...it was my first ti.
"What’s there to hide? I can sketch your body with my eyes closed," Francis shalessly said and I couldn’t stop my hands from hitting his back.
He laughed. "it didn’t hurt."
I rolled my eyes and he made stand in front of the mirror.... naked while he had his pants on.
Unfair!
"Everything you see in the mirror now belongs to , Mala. Every single one of it," he whispered.
I looked at myself and I had red marks all over. I blushed..my cheeks turned red.
"Want more?" Francis asked and I imdiately shook my head.
"More? Do you want dead? Do you know how big it is? I almost died!" I scread.
Instead of him understanding my pain and apologizing for what he had done, he chose to lean towards ....he whispered. "We should do more. The more the better Mala..if you keep running from it, you wouldn’t get use to it."
I looked into his eyes and sincerely, it felt good. The anger in faded away and I was left fluttered by his warm gaze.
"I love you," he said then he leaned in to hug .
Bang! Bang! Bang! Soone knocked.
Leave it to be people in Cresent village to ruin a mont.
"Ignore it," Francis said, sniffing my neck.
"What if it’s important?"
"It can wait. I’m with my woman."
"What...what if it’s Sir. Oliver?" I asked and my heart raced. I had completely forgotten that they thought I was dead.
He must have sensed the fear in my eyes. "You have nothing to worry about. Whether he likes it or not, you’re here and you’re mine. If he is not comfortable with you being around, then he has to leave," Francis assured .
I wrapped the duvet around myself while Francis went to get the door.
He glanced at one more ti before he turned the knob.
What a flirt.
A part of was still scared. I knew how far Sir. Oliver would go just to get rid of . Francis had all the strength one could ever think of, but I wasn’t sure that he would be able to stop that man.
The door creaked open but it wasn’t the old man. Instead, it was Agatha...Lord Chris’s wife.
My brows creased wondering why she looked like that. She held her child in her hands as she cried. She had cuts and bruises covering her whole body. Blood stains filled her blue dress...the wounds seed fresh.
"And what are you doing here? Leave!" Francis sneered.
Agatha bowed. "Your highness...please. I had to fight my way through your guards to get to you. Please... Lord Chris...."
"If Chris beats you to death it has nothing to do with . It’s better that you leave before I change my mind about your place in the palace!" Francis growled.
I didn’t know what exactly was going on, but I felt that sothing was off. Agatha wasn’t the ti to complain unnecessarily. Even when Lord Chris beat her up, she never ca to complain.
"Leave!" Francis sneered.
"I need you, your highness. I need your help. Lord Chris has done the unspeakable. If you do not help ....he will take my son away from and kill him," she sobbed.
My heart broke.
I knew Lord Chris was a monster but I never thought he would go as far as killing his own son.
"And why would he do that?" I asked.
"He’s angry. He says I betrayed him....I....I stopped Sir. Oliver from giving him the spell book," Agatha cried.
"And why would Oliver want to give him the spell book in the first place?" Francis asked.
"I do not know, but it has sothing to do with Mala. They made a deal but sir. Oliver didn’t know what he wanted to use the spell book for. I had to tell sir. Oliver last night that he intended to kill you with it...and he found out...please help . Save my son," Agatha cried.
"And where is Oliver?" Francis asked.
Agatha was silent.
"Where is he!" Francis growled.
"Lord Chris....he...he killed him. Sir. Oliver is dead."
