[TW: Attempted SA]

Alia’s body rembered Caleb’s touch. After all, that was a sensation that had been seared into her code out of love for many years. However, what was once a comforting feeling had grown mold over the months of bad blood between them, and now, it left nothing but hair-raising disgust all over her nerves.

"You’re insane!" She stared at him with hatred, her anger growing from the way he smirked so brazenly.

Once upon a ti, Alia had fallen in love with that sa smile. Caleb was irrefutably a handso man, and he had used his good looks to charm his way through many occasions. His smile was but one of the many things she had loved him for, but now, it was a new addition to the many things Alia loathed him for.

There was a fine line between love and hate, but this ti, Caleb had gone so far to the other end that he was no longer redeemable.

"What will this accomplish?" Alia asked, looking around the room to make her point. "What’s the point in making this place look like our old apartnt? Just because you’ve made a copy doesn’t an ti can turn back!"

"Oh, no no no. You’ve mistaken , Alia," Caleb said, shaking his head. "I understand that we humans must always look ahead. What’s past is past, and no amount of praying will turn back the clock to the way it once was."

"Then wake up from your delusions," Alia seethed. "Let go, and while I am still feeling gracious, I won’t go to the cops."

That was a lie. If Caleb did let her go — and she doubted he would — she would be headed to the station first thing right after.

And he knew that too, for he laughed, his shoulders rising and falling as he did.

"Don’t keep promises you can’t keep, Millie," Caleb said, using a finger to prop her chin up so that she would et his eyes. "We both know that’s not true."

"What are you hoping for by doing this then?" Alia spat. "Sick pleasure?"

"While I must admit it would indeed give a lot of pleasure―" Caleb’s eyes road up and down her body, causing Alia to shiver in disgust, "―that’s not all I am hoping for."

He then moved forward and cradled the palm of his hand against Alia’s stomach, causing her to stiffen.

"You see, Emline Hawthorne is an idiot. That’s sothing everyone knows and also knows to keep hush-hush about. But there was sothing she did that was truly a brilliant, spectacular idea! I would’ve even mistaken it for soone else’s plan, honestly, and I still think that’s the case right now!"

"Get away from !"

As the dots began to connect themselves, Alia started to struggle even harder. She kicked and twisted her body, trying her best to injure him where it would hurt the most, but Caleb had learned from his past mistakes. He easily countered her struggles before holding her down, sparing no effort to pin her under him.

"We were too young when we got married," Caleb said. "But I think we’ve reached an age where we could be parents, don’t you think? Didn’t you always want a child? A family of our own? We can have that now."

"You are sorely mistaken," Alia said. "I have no interest in having a child with you."

"A pity," Caleb said with a shrug. "I’ve always wanted a daughter like you, and I am sure you’ve thought of having a son like . I think two is the magic number, but if you would like to have a whole soccer team, that would be nice too."

"You’re severely overestimating yourself if you think you can do this in one night," Alia said. "Unlike what you think, you’re not that great of a perforr."

"Oh?" Caleb humd, amused. "In that case, I would need more practice, wouldn’t I? Who says I’ll just have one night?"

"They’ll know to look for if I don’t go ho by tonight."

"And by the ti they find you, I would’ve already planted my seed in you," Caleb retorted without missing a beat. He reached forward, stroking Alia’s hair gently as though they were lovers.

Imdiately, Alia felt a wave of nausea gurgling in her stomach and creeping up her throat. The dication that Isaac had given to her had long but worn off after such a long day, and imdiately, everything that was suppressed was threatening to reveal itself― especially with Caleb fueling her disgust endlessly.

"We can do it again and again, night and day, all the way until your body accepts what it has been given. You will do your duty and bear my children, and we can be a happy family again."

"Over my dead body!" Alia yelled.

She pulled back as far as she could before she brought her head forward, colliding her forehead against Caleb’s. A sound thud echoed through the room, followed by two equal hisses of pain as Caleb reared back in agony.

"That’s it!" he hissed. "We’ve wasted enough ti, haven’t we?"

"Get off !"

Caleb ignored her pleas as he reached for her clothes, tearing her shirt clean open. The sound of fabric ripping rippled through the air, followed by the clattering noise of the buttons hitting the floor.

He buried her face into her neck, nibbling and sucking at her skin as Alia raised her knees. However, her attempts were futile as he had left one hand on her legs to lock her in place.

As Caleb used his body weight to hold her still, his hands worked to pull her skirt down. He grabbed everything roughly and callously, tugging and yanking hard enough to elicit cries of pain from Alia, but those sounds rely fueled his lust.

In the dim light of the room, Caleb’s eyes glowed with mania.

The sound of his zipper getting pulled down crackled through the air, louder than thunder, and tears stread from Alia’s eyes as she used the last bits of her strength in an attempt to get away. Yet, his strength far exceeded hers, and no matter how she tried to keep him away, he always found a way to easily pry her apart.

However, right as Caleb adjusted himself and placed his mber right at her entrance, a thud ca from outside, followed by another.
