Ch.164 It’s All Yours (1)
The man’s dark-coloured and energetic pupils were bursting with sparkle, mixed along with indistinct emotions.
It was like he had a glimpse of the “truth” through the misty fog and that made him very happy. He pursed his lips as he slumped into deep thought, he felt happier and happier, as if he was about to go crazy.
His slightly squinted eyes widened again, and the fragnts of light in the room started to appear.
The room was shrouded in warm-toned rays of light that were not too harsh to the eye. For a while, no one spoke, as they let the warmth sink in.
Chen Jinyao looked towards him in silence. Her lips curled up with a seemingly nonexistent smile. Her hand, thumb and index finger, which was naturally hanging beside her, shifted unconsciously a few tis. After ten seconds, as if she was bewitched, she cald herself down, tried to act calm and pinched Yancheng’s soft plump earlobes……
In an instant, she could feel this touch from the bottom of her heart, it was incredibly soft.

After Chen Jinyao got pregnant, she never gave up on her job.
Every working day, she would still go to work like everyone else.

That day, coincidentally a Friday, he ca to the clinic to pick her up from work early.
However, no matter how early he ca, he still couldn’t beat how early night fell during the middle of winter.
The colorfully lit streets for the coming Chinese New Year celebration were filled with pedestrians wrapped in coats but were still suffering from the cold, as they walked hurriedly, occasionally stopping and stomping their feet on the ground, exhaling breaths of air to try and warm their cold palms.
The breaths turned into a few wisps of white smoke, embedded in the winter, which blended with the scene.
Across the glass, Yan Cheng saw Chen Jinyao from afar, who had already taken off her white coat, slowly walking over to him with her bag, and one hand on her hips.
She turned sideways, smiled and said “See you next week” to the front desk nurses.
