"Mom." Bai Liyan knew his mother was just concerned about him. "I know what you want to say, but now, I have let go. I won’t have any other thoughts about Ji Yunhuan, so you don’t have to worry."
"Really?" Auntie sounded skeptical.
"Of course it’s true." Bai Liyan said, "You want to get married, right? I can get married. I can marry anyone."
He knew that to completely rid himself of Ji Yunhuan’s shadow, he had to start a new life happily.
Seeing him say this, Auntie looked troubled. "Where am I supposed to find soone on such short notice? Even if you want to get married, you should find soone suitable, right?"

Surprisingly, the celebration party was in C City, though he distinctly rembered that Gu You’s ho was in City A.
Bai Liyan was in a daze for a while when Gu You’s call ca again.
This ti, Bai Liyan spoke first. "You’re in C City?"
"Yes! I called to tell you, you can give your ID, and I’ll book the flight for you!"
"..." Bai Liyan smiled. "I just arrived in C City today."
"No way? What a coincidence?" Gu You said in surprise. "Where are you? I’ll co to find you."
"But..." It didn’t seem proper for a girl to co find him.
Bai Liyan was about to say sothing when Gu You said, "But I have sothing to do right now. I might co later, but too late, and it wouldn’t be convenient to disturb you. Let’s et tomorrow then!"
"..." Bai Liyan thought, does this girl’s mind jump too fast?
Just after finishing the call with Gu You, the servant downstairs called him. Bai Liyan had already changed his clothes.

Gu You sounded anxious. "My bag was stolen. All my docunts were in it. I don’t have any relatives in C City, and I only rembered your phone number."
"Are you okay?"
"I’m at the police station, but I’m alone. Can you co over?"
Gu You’s voice sounded a bit pitiful.
She usually spoke very rationally, but now she sounded like a helpless child.
Bai Liyan thought for a mont. It wasn’t easy for a girl to be alone here. She had drawn so many pictures for him. He should do sothing in return.
He went straight to find Gu You.
When he saw Gu You standing at the police station entrance, looking lost and helpless, Bai Liyan walked over. Her eyes imdiately lit up.
Bai Liyan saw her barefoot, her shoe nowhere to be seen. Her jeans were tattered in places. "Are you hurt?"

If the thief had let her catch up, would she have co out unhard?
Gu You frowned at his words. "I guess you’re right! But all my docunts were in it, my money too. Now..." She spread her hands. "What do you think I should do?"
"What do you want to do?" Bai Liyan could sense there was more to her words.
Gu You grinned. "I want to stay at your place for the night. The police said they’ll try to get my things back by tomorrow."
Bai Liyan looked at her. With her long hair and not very prominent features, her whole face was still lovely. Any other man would have been moved long ago.
Bai Liyan, however, frowned. "A girl asking to stay at a man’s place, don’t you think that’s dangerous?"
Gu You smiled. "What’s the big deal? If you had any thoughts about , I would have sensed it by now."
