"You think it isn’t?" Xu Qingyang smiled. "After I ca back, I looked at many of A’Liang’s photos. I was very surprised too by how much I could resemble him. It’s like he’s another brother I left behind in this world. So, fate really is unexpected."

Qi Cheng sat on the Su Family’s sofa for a long ti. Xu Qingyang apologized to him. He didn’t really hate Xu Qingyang that much. Su Molang was like a knot in his heart that he’d have to face sooner or later. Xu Qingyang’s appearance just magnified that knot.

In the Qi Family, Ji Yunhuan had just finished bathing the two children when she saw Qi Cheng coming upstairs.

"How did it go?" Ji Yunhuan asked concernedly.

Knowing he was still grounded, she wondered why he ca back so late.

While admiring his bravery, she was also a bit worried about the situation with the Su Family.

Qi Cheng walked up to Ji Yunhuan. "Just like you said, he admitted it. He’s Xu Qingyang, not Su Molang."

The thought of Bai Liyan exploiting his weakness to deal with him made him sowhat depressed. However, thinking carefully, there were errors on Bai Liyan’s part and responsibilities of his own.

"How’s the Su Family? They must be very sad, right?" Even though they didn’t like her, Ji Yunhuan was still a bit worried about them.

"They’re fine. Although Xu Qingyang confessed his identity, they still treat him as A’Liang."

Ji Yunhuan stared at Qi Cheng. "Does that an you think the sa way?"

"Yes." What else could he do?

Xu Qingyang’s face was like a get-out-of-jail-free card, and besides, he wasn’t a bad person.

Moreover, Xu Qingyang had already promised not to interfere in his relationship with Ji Yunhuan.

Hearing this, Ji Yunhuan finally breathed a sigh of relief. She had been anxious since she returned ho and realized Qi Cheng had not co back yet.

She finally felt relieved and couldn’t help but complain, "You didn’t believe before, but now you do, right?"

"Sorry." Qi Cheng had previously been unwilling to accept reality, not wanting to complicate matters further.

Now that Xu Qingyang had admitted it, there was no way to deny it any longer.

Ji Yunhuan should have been very angry at him. But seeing him troubled by the whole Su Molang affair, she only felt more pity for him.

He had known that falling in love with her would be a painful thing, yet he still made that inevitably painful choice in the past.

Even now, knowing that Xu Qingyang was not Su Molang, his heart didn’t feel much lighter.

Ji Yunhuan reached out and hugged him. "If you feel sorry for , then don’t continue to dwell on it. I knew Su Molang, so I understand your guilt. But Qi Cheng, he’s no longer here. If I were better, you wouldn’t have been so affected by this, right?"

Ultimately, any problem in a relationship could be blad on one’s own shortcomings.

If one were truly focused, what reason could there be for separation?

Hearing Ji Yunhuan’s words, Qi Cheng reached out and cupped half of her face. "You’re already wonderful."

"I will beco even better." Ji Yunhuan smiled, moved away from Qi Cheng, and said, "So tonight, you can sleep alone. I’m going to be with the kids."

Before Qi Cheng could react, Ji Yunhuan had entered the children’s room and locked the door.

It took a while for Qi Cheng to realize that although she didn’t show she was angry with him on the surface, Ji Yunhuan had still chosen to punish him!

Qi Ling ca upstairs and saw Qi Cheng standing alone in the hallway. He laughed. "Brother, what’s wrong? Got locked out by sister-in-law?"

"Get lost!" Their grandpa had sent Qi Ling here to keep an eye on him. Qi Cheng gave him a disdainful look and went back to his room.

Standing in the hallway, Qi Ling looked rather helpless.

Ji Yunhuan ca out of the room and saw Qi Ling standing there.

Qi Ling greeted her cheerfully. "Sister-in-law."

"What are you daydreaming about standing here?"

"Just got scolded by third brother. He’s so an. You should help teach him a lesson."

"Get lost." Ji Yunhuan’s attitude was cold toward this little tattletale sent by grandpa.

Though she quarreled with Qi Cheng in private, it was different with outsiders. She wouldn’t allow Qi Ling to bully Qi Cheng!

Qi Ling clutched his chest in mock hurt. "You’re all so an to ."

"..."

Qi Cheng was in the shower when he heard the door open. Before long, Ji Yunhuan opened the bathroom door.

Seeing her, Qi Cheng asked in surprise, "Didn’t you say you were staying with the kids tonight?"

Ji Yunhuan sized him up. "I’m not sleepy yet. Can’t I co see you?"

"Of course." He smiled, reaching out to her. He knew she wasn’t that heartless. "Help scrub my back."

Ji Yunhuan didn’t refuse. She kneeled by the bathtub, took a towel, and began scrubbing his back. As she looked at his calm face, she couldn’t help thinking about Zhou Yixiu, even though the issue with Xu Qingyang was temporarily resolved.

That’s why, even though she intended to punish Qi Cheng, she couldn’t help but co check on him.

"Still thinking about Xu Qingyang?"

"No."

"There’s no need to lie to ." Ji Yunhuan said. "Actually, Xu Qingyang isn’t a bad person. I was worried he was on Zhou Yixiu’s side and had so ulterior motive. But it doesn’t seem that way. Even though the real Su Molang isn’t back, having Xu Qingyang gives you and the Su Family so emotional solace. Isn’t that a good thing?"

Qi Cheng grabbed the hand she was using to scrub his shoulder, his voice rising slightly. "You think he’s a good person?"

"Don’t you?"

"No." Even if Xu Qingyang was a good person, he didn’t like her praising others.

Seeing his cold deanor, Ji Yunhuan knew he was getting jealous. She smiled at him. "Mr. Qi, don’t be so petty, alright? Even if it was really Su Molang, I wouldn’t like him. Let alone when he’s just Xu Qingyang."

"I don’t like hearing you praising other n."

"Then from now on, I’ll only praise you!" Ji Yunhuan looked at him. "Does that make you happy?"

She had been in a good mood lately, agreeing to everything he said.

"Are you not angry about what happened before?" Qi Cheng asked.

"What does it matter if I’m angry? Kick you out?" Ji Yunhuan lowered her head so their foreheads touched and gave him a gentle kiss on his lips. Her voice carried a hint of helplessness. "Even if I kicked you out, you’d co back. What can I do?"

"Am I really like that?"

"Aren’t you?" Ji Yunhuan raised her head and looked into his beautiful eyes. Because no matter what decisions he made, he’d eventually return to her, this ti she didn’t get angry. She said, "Qi Cheng, let’s not doubt each other anymore, okay? You’re so good to , and I’m so good to you. We’ve already been through the toughest tis. What reason do we have to doubt each other?"
