Su Molang, who had died, ca back. The important people they had lost were all back by their side. But what about her?

Her relatives who had left would never have a chance to co back.

Unlike Su Zi, she wasn’t so lucky because she had personally witnessed her relatives’ departure.

Ji Yunhuan walked out of the gate. The driver opened the car door for her, but she didn’t get in. Instead, she just walked along the road inside the villa area.

After a while, Qi Cheng ca out. "Yunhuan!"

His voice made Ji Yunhuan stop in her tracks. Ji Yunhuan looked at Qi Cheng, who had walked up to her, and smiled. "You’re not inside. What are you doing out here?"

He looked into her eyes and could feel her sadness. And the cause of her sadness was him. He originally wanted to say sothing, but once he opened his mouth, the words that ca out were different from what he had in mind. "I ca to see you."

"See ?" Ji Yunhuan said unexpectedly, "You still have the heart to focus on now? Don’t you know Su Molang is inside? How can you do this to your good brother?"

He valued brotherly feelings and had already given her up. Given that, why should he co and hypocritically show concern for her?

Qi Cheng could see that she was angry about what happened that day.

He didn’t want to appear in front of her and make her dislike him. But many tis, he couldn’t control himself. "Give so ti, okay? I’ll handle everything."

"Handle? How?" Ji Yunhuan said hopelessly. "The existence of Su Molang is an irrefutable fact. To be honest, I should be grateful for his appearance. Without him, I wouldn’t have realized how insignificant I am to you, right?"

Her voice sounded like it was squeezed out with all her might. The sadness had left her speechless.

Qi Cheng looked at her, wanting to say sothing, but ultimately remained silent.

Just then, the driver drove over. Ji Yunhuan got into the car and left.

Qi Cheng returned to Bai Liyan’s house. Su Molang and Bai Liyan were preparing to take Su Zi out for dinner. Not seeing Ji Yunhuan, Su Molang asked, "Where’s Yunhuan?"

"She had sothing to do, so she went back first." Despite the current situation making Qi Cheng sowhat unwilling to face it, he didn’t childishly choose to leave.

In Ji Yunhuan’s world, Su Molang was just a passerby. But to him, it was different.

After all, the best brotherhood and the best feelings weren’t built in a day or two. Among these were regrets left from Su Molang’s departure until now.

That night in a private room, Su Zi was singing karaoke. Besides Qi Cheng and his two brothers, there were also so friends they had t earlier. It was very lively.

Only Qi Cheng sat quietly on the side, holding a cigarette, out of place with the lively atmosphere.

The phone rang. He glanced at it and answered. Yangyang’s voice ca through the call. "Dad, Mom is drunk. Can you co and check on her?"

Since Ji Yunhuan had left, Qi Cheng had been worrying about her. She was usually rational and restrained. Getting drunk indicated that her mood was indeed terrible.

Qi Cheng stood up. "I have an urgent matter. I need to leave for a while."

"Need any help?" Su Molang asked enthusiastically.

"No need, you guys continue." Qi Cheng grabbed his coat and walked out the door, his eyes filled with undisguisable anxiety.

When he arrived at the Ji Family’s house, the servant at the door saw Qi Cheng and greeted him as soon as he entered. "Mr. Qi."

"Where is she?"

"Ms. Ji is upstairs."

Qi Cheng couldn’t care less to ask anything more. He took large strides upstairs, quickly arriving at the bedroom. Luo Sha and the two children were at the door. Seeing Qi Cheng, Yangyang looked as if he had seen hope. He ca up and grabbed Qi Cheng’s hand. Qi Cheng quickly followed him over and saw Ji Yunhuan sitting barefoot on the windowsill. She was still wearing the dress from earlier in the day. Her hair was down like silk. She sat by the window, focused on playing the violin.

If you had only listened to the music, you might not have believed she was drunk.

However, the music was like her current emotions, chaotic and sowhat sorrowful.

Just looking at Ji Yunhuan like this made Qi Cheng feel like his heart was breaking.

He walked over to her and grabbed her hand. Ji Yunhuan opened her eyes and looked at the person in front of her. He thought she would get angry as he had disturbed her. But instead, she just released the violin.

Qi Cheng took the violin, and Assistant Gao, who had co with him, quickly took it over.

Qi Cheng instructed, "Take them out."

Assistant Gao quickly understood Qi Cheng’s intention. He told the three at the door, "Let’s go out first."

Yangyang looked at Ji Yunhuan worriedly. "Is she okay?"

Ji Yunhuan had drunk a lot when she returned. After she ca in, she sat by the window, playing the violin continuously for almost four hours. It was already so late, and she had no intention of sleeping at all.

Yangyang and the other two looked at her, unable to do anything, and finally called Qi Cheng.

Assistant Gao went out and closed the door. Qi Cheng held Ji Yunhuan’s hand. Because she had played the violin for too long, her fingers were all blistered and even bleeding, yet she acted as if she felt nothing.

Qi Cheng looked at her fingers. "Why do you treat yourself like this?"

Ji Yunhuan raised her head to look at Qi Cheng. Her eyes were filled with sadness. She didn’t speak. Instead, she quietly gazed at him, as if she wanted to study this man thoroughly with her eyes.

Qi Cheng knew from her gaze that she was blaming him. She blad him for giving up on her.

He gently stroked her slender fingers and couldn’t help but smile. But the smile was full of sadness. "If you were sober, you definitely wouldn’t look at like this. If I ignored you, you would act like you didn’t care even more than I did. Only now, being drunk, do you let see how much you care."

Ji Yunhuan silently looked at him. Her eyes seed to contain an entire world.

Qi Cheng said, "I used to think I could let you go. But after leaving you, it’s clear you no longer needed . But seeing you like this, tell , how am I supposed to let you go?"

Although she didn’t cling to him usually, behaving like this made it even harder for him to resist her.

Ji Yunhuan just silently looked at Qi Cheng, not making a sound or speaking.

Qi Cheng patiently bandaged each of her fingers in the room. She knew how much he loved her and didn’t want to see her get hurt, yet she still hurt herself like this.

Rather than him bandaging her fingers, it was more like he was bandaging his bleeding heart.

Qi Cheng didn’t leave. He stayed by Ji Yunhuan’s side. She fell asleep not long after. No matter when, as long as Qi Cheng was by her side, she felt at ease. As she slept, she tightly held his hand, afraid he might slip away.

At this mont, she clung to him like a little child. Qi Cheng lay down beside her, looking at how she relied on him.

He didn’t know how long it had been until the door was pushed open. Yangyang walked in wearing pajamas. He curiously looked at Qi Cheng. "Is she okay?"

"She’s just asleep, nothing’s wrong." Qi Cheng glanced at Yangyang and reached out to lift him onto the bed, though he was sowhat reluctant to have their world of two disturbed.
