...

Ji Yunhuan listened to his words and was simply speechless. "If you chat together, of course, you’ll see him. If you speak to him without looking at him, won’t it make him sad?"

Qi Cheng said, "Do you care if he’s sad?"

"I just think your demands are too harsh."

"Anyway, I don’t care. Just rember what I said."

...

They ca out of the restroom. Ji Yunhuan pushed open the door and walked into the yard. She saw Leilei and Yangyang sitting on the steps at the door, both of them resting their chins on their hands. Ji Yunhuan found this scene of one big and one small child to be quite amusing.

Hearing her open the door, Yangyang maintained his posture of resting his chin on his hand. Because one of his hands was injured, he used only one hand. His sad look made it seem like he was worried about the future.

Ji Yunhuan knew that when he beca quiet, he was surely thinking about his second aunt again. She walked up to Yangyang and asked, "Baby, are you hungry? Let’s go eat!"

Yangyang didn’t look at Ji Yunhuan. His eyes blankly stared at a certain spot as he recalled the tis living with his second aunt.

Leilei said, "I’m hungry."

Ji Yunhuan replied, "Let’s go eat."

She picked Yangyang up and went inside without going to the front. She directly asked the servant to bring lunch over.

Qi Cheng was next to them looking after Ruirui, and Ji Yunhuan’s attention was mostly on Yangyang. She was very worried about him and hoped she could help him co out of the shadows.

But Yangyang remained glum.

He rarely smiled. Most of the ti, he was alone, brooding silently.

Seeing her son like this, Ji Yunhuan’s heart really ached. As a mother, she didn’t want to see her son so sad. But she didn’t know what she could do for him.

If Yangyang were like Ruirui, who would smile as soon as she appeared, things would be much easier.

Unfortunately, in Yangyang’s eyes, he didn’t see her as his mother at all.

A week later, Ji Yunhuan and Qi Cheng took the three kids back to City A. Qi Ling ca with them, saying he wanted to have a good ti here for a few days before going back.

He was a free spirit, doing whatever he liked. He had plenty of ti and could travel around as he wished.

People with money had ti. The world was this cruel.

Those who were busy rushing around every day, exhausted, were also the poorest.

The car stopped in the courtyard. The servants took the luggage into the house one by one. Qi Cheng got off the car first. Ji Yunhuan handed the kids to him before getting off the car.

Leilei and Yangyang got off from the other side.

Ji Yunhuan glanced at them and said to Leilei, "Leilei, watch Yangyang."

To prevent him from running and falling again.

Leilei was obedient to Ji Yunhuan. Hearing this, she nodded and said, "Okay."

Ji Yunhuan carried the baby into the house. She had just sat down to rest for a while when she saw Leilei co in.

"Where’s Yangyang?" Only Leilei was there, and there was no sign of Yangyang.

Leilei said, "Yangyang went back to his own house."

Hearing this, Ji Yunhuan couldn’t help but feel a sinking feeling. Going back to his own house ant the place where the second aunt lived.

Ji Yunhuan stood up and handed Ruirui to Qi Cheng. "I’ll go check on him."

After stepping out, she walked directly to the courtyard where the second aunt lived. The second aunt and second uncle were not at ho. Yangyang was there, standing alone in front of the closed door with a look of disappointnt.

These days, Yangyang rarely ntioned his second aunt. Ji Yunhuan thought he had beco accustod to her absence. She didn’t expect that as soon as he returned, he would be eager to find her.

Her heart ached deeply.

As a failed mother, Ji Yunhuan had no idea how she should face this scene. Her son, her baby, wouldn’t accept her at all.

mories flooded in. Although Yangyang hadn’t ntioned his second aunt much these days, he hadn’t been close to her either. Last year, during the second aunt’s business trip, Yangyang’s closeness to her was nowhere to be found now.

Thinking about this, Ji Yunhuan felt deep pain and sadness. She looked at Yangyang and reached out to hold him in her arms. "Yangyang, baby, mommy’s here. Will you look at ? I know I did many things that hurt you before, but now mommy really hopes you can look at . I’m your real mommy!"

Yangyang remained silent, ignoring Ji Yunhuan. It was as if he couldn’t hear her at all.

He leaned against the door, silently lowering his head. Ji Yunhuan, standing beside him, felt her heart was breaking, "Yangyang, hasn’t mommy been good to you? These days, you don’t even want to talk to ."

He lifted his head and looked at Ji Yunhuan with an unfamiliar gaze, as if he didn’t recognize her at all.

He turned around and knocked on the door again, not giving up. Ji Yunhuan looked at his indifferent face and felt the tears welling up in her eyes, "Do you really not want to talk to ? Look, they’re not ho, are they?"

Just after getting off the plane, he ca directly here. Maybe he had been thinking about this all along during these days.

Ji Yunhuan looked at Yangyang and gently stroked his head, feeling a bit of sadness in her heart. She said, "Shall we rest for a while and eat sothing first? When your second aunt cos back, I’ll bring you here to find her, okay?"

Forcing Yangyang to forget his second aunt and accept her was too cruel.

Clearly, they were a family. There was no need for things to be like this. Ji Yunhuan believed that the second aunt didn’t want this situation either. So, she hoped the second aunt could be considerate of past affections and not be so harsh on Yangyang.

Yangyang listened to Ji Yunhuan’s words and coldly looked at her. Ji Yunhuan reached out to pick him up and carried him back to the living room.

Qi’s mother was sitting in the living room. During Grandpa’s birthday banquet, both Qi’s father and Qi’s mother had co earlier and returned a bit sooner.

Qi’s mother held Ruirui and said, "It’s been a while since I saw him. This little one has grown a lot."

Qi’s mother loved children and was fond of every child.

Seeing Ji Yunhuan holding Yangyang, Qi’s mother asked, "What’s wrong with Yangyang?"

He looked so unhappy.

Ji Yunhuan glanced at Yangyang in her arms and said, "Nothing, he’ll be fine after so coaxing."

Ji Yunhuan sat down, and Qi’s mother said, "Your second aunt has been in a terrible mood these days. Your second uncle has been trying to comfort her. Giving Yangyang back to you was like cutting a piece of her heart. I think, since you already have two children, why not let them keep Yangyang? Your second aunt has always treated him like her own child."

Hearing this, Ji Yunhuan sorrowfully lowered her head and looked at Yangyang in her arms. She said, "Yangyang is still young now. He thinks the second aunt is better. But when he grows up, he won’t think this way anymore."

So, she no longer wanted to give her son the opportunity to hate her.
