Seeing that she didn’t have the sa impatient look on her face as she usually did, Qi Cheng smiled slightly, locked the door, and lay down on the bed.
He lay beside her, feeling content inside. He wasn’t in a hurry to speak and just reached out an arm to hold her.
After a while, he asked, "Are you tired?"
The daily morning sickness tornted her so much it nearly killed her.
Just carrying the child made her utterly exhausted.
Ji Yunhuan didn’t respond, her eyes closed, almost drifting off to sleep.
Getting no reply from her, Qi Cheng also stayed silent. She had been so cold to him lately that he had gotten used to it.
The phone rang in the quiet room. Qi Cheng fished his phone out of his pocket, too lazy to get out of bed, and answered it directly.
"Qi Cheng." It was his mother’s voice.
Hearing this, he temporarily released Ji Yunhuan, got off the bed, and walked into the bathroom. Ji Yunhuan heard him close the bathroom door.

"Mom, what made you think of this late at night?" Qi Cheng asked, leaning against the sink.

She couldn’t beat or scold this son.
The only thing she could do was bring out his grandfather to scare him.

"You should have your own life, not wasting your ti on soone like ." She wished him well. She didn’t want him to be unhappy with his family because of her.

She didn’t want to see Qi Cheng beco lonely and desolate like her.

If he didn’t want to go back, so be it. She had already warned him.
