Ji Yunhuan watched from the side, her eyes filled with deep loneliness.

Before Yangyang ca back, she hadn’t seen Warm for several days. The two of them were still talking and laughing, but now, she couldn’t smile anymore.

There was only an indescribable pain in her heart.

Qi Cheng ca out of the bathroom. It was hot outside, so he washed his hands and face. Just in ti, he saw Ji Yunhuan’s desolate appearance.

He spoke, "Yunhuan, co up and help find sothing."

"What do you want to find?" Ji Yunhuan heard his voice, looked at him, and saw that Qi Cheng had already started walking upstairs.

She looked at Warm, "Then you sit here for a while."

She glanced reluctantly at Yangyang before going upstairs.

She had just taken a few steps up the stairs when she saw Qi Cheng standing at the corner waiting for her. At this mont, her eyes were already filled with hot tears.

"What do you want to find?" She thought Qi Cheng really wanted to find sothing.

Qi Cheng didn’t answer. He walked towards her, reaching out to hold her in his arms.

Ji Yunhuan froze, then realized Qi Cheng had called her up not to find sothing, but to comfort her.

To avoid being seen later, he turned around while holding her, placed her in the corner, and stared at her tearful face. He held her hands, "Don’t cry. I don’t want to see your tears. Trust , this is just the beginning. It will get better in the future."

Not being comforted was fine, but once she was comforted by Qi Cheng, Ji Yunhuan’s entire heart seed to shatter. She leaned tightly against his chest and expressed her helplessness, "The first ti he t Aunt Liu, he accepted everything she gave him. But the second ti he saw , he hated so much."

Hearing the sadness in her voice, Qi Cheng gently stroked her hair, "He’s just a child. He doesn’t understand anything. I already told him today that you are his mother."

"You told him?"

Ji Yunhuan had originally thought Qi Cheng would wait a while before saying it.

Qi Cheng gently hugged her, "I told him. After I said it, he hated to death. He’s so young. Hearing this for the first ti is certainly hard to accept. He has known since he was little, and our relationship is okay. Now he doesn’t want to talk to . It’s normal for him not to talk to you either. He will understand eventually."

"No wonder he would rather talk to Aunt Liu than ." Ji Yunhuan’s heart ached again, "Even though he’s young, if he knew what I did before, he would surely be very hurt."

Qi Cheng affectionately kissed her forehead, "Suffering a little setback in childhood might not be a bad thing for him."

Ji Yunhuan gazed into his eyes, "Qi Cheng, I am an unqualified mother. When I left, he was only a month old. I didn’t even think about whether he could grow up healthy and normal. I just threw him away regardless."

"..."

Her hands trembled slightly, and she couldn’t help but mock herself, "It’s only fair that he hates now, isn’t it?"

"Stop overthinking. Just treat him well in the future." Qi Cheng patted her shoulder.

Qi Cheng and Ji Yunhuan ca down from upstairs. Yangyang had just finished eating a piece of waterlon. There was waterlon juice around his small mouth. Aunt Liu took a towel to clean him up.

Warmly spoke to Yangyang, "How old are you this year?"

Warm had always been with children. There was a comforting feeling about her.

Yangyang didn’t dislike her, "Two."

Ji Yunhuan stood aside, looking at her son’s obedient appearance, unable to help but smile.

Yangyang wasn’t too shy around strangers. When others spoke to him, he wasn’t afraid at all.

But he uniquely disliked Ji Yunhuan and was very cold towards her.

Ji Yunhuan couldn’t help but think that perhaps it was because she was special to him in his heart.

Without rushing to get closer, Ji Yunhuan walked over and sat down next to Warm.

Qi Cheng followed and sat down too.

Seeing Qi Cheng, Warm didn’t take the initiative to greet him. Although she had to accept the reality of Qi Cheng being with Ji Yunhuan, she didn’t like Qi Cheng.

This was the first ti Qi Cheng and Warm had t since Qi Cheng started being with Ji Yunhuan.

Qi Cheng sat down without acknowledging Warm, just watching Yangyang.

Feeling everyone’s gaze, Yangyang felt a bit uneasy. He got down from the chair and walked alone towards the kitchen. Ji Yunhuan hesitated, wanting to follow, but Qi Cheng held her hand, "Wait."

"But the kitchen..." Ji Yunhuan worried about the little guy running around alone.

"Aunt Liu is inside," Qi Cheng said.

Sure enough, Yangyang only walked to the door. Seeing Aunt Liu, he stopped.

Aunt Liu was also surprised, "Why is the little master here?"

"I need to pee." His voice was sweet and soft.

Ji Yunhuan’s heart almost lted hearing this. She glanced at Qi Cheng, "It seems he’s still mad at you."

"Don’t underestimate his temper just because he’s little." Qi Cheng said, adding, "Just like you."

"More like you."

Ji Yunhuan couldn’t help but stand up.

Aunt Liu led Yangyang towards the bathroom. Ji Yunhuan stood outside the bathroom, hearing Aunt Liu taking care of him inside.

After he finished peeing, Aunt Liu filled a basin with water and placed it on the floor to help him wash his hands.

He wet his hands, squeezed so soap, and rubbed his little hands together, playing happily.

But when he looked up and saw Ji Yunhuan, his face darkened again.

Seeing him dislike her like this, Ji Yunhuan didn’t follow. She turned and left the doorway. After washing his hands, he stood up. Aunt Liu dried his hands. He quickly ran to the door, confirming Ji Yunhuan was gone before breathing a sigh of relief.

He looked at Aunt Liu. Aunt Liu had finished tidying up inside.

"Let’s go out!" Aunt Liu said to him.

He walked out, hiding on the side. Aunt Liu held his hand and they went back to the living room.

"Co here." Qi Cheng called to him.

He glanced at Qi Cheng, muttered, and walked behind the sofa where Warm was sitting, hiding.

Warm looked at him, "Why are you hiding? Don’t you want to see ?"

"No."

He calmly said two words.

"So, it ans you hate ?" Ji Yunhuan took the opportunity to speak to him.

He glanced at Ji Yunhuan without speaking, which was a tacit agreent.

Ji Yunhuan felt deeply hurt.

Warm laughed, "This is your birth mother. Why do you hate her?"

"She’s not." Yangyang got anxious at the ntion of this question.

He disliked admitting it the most.

Warm said, "Co over, I have sothing to show you. A good thing."

He didn’t speak, feeling Warm and Ji Yunhuan were on the sa side.

"Co and see, be good." Warm stood up, walked over, picked him up, and placed him on her lap.

He looked at Warm. Ji Yunhuan was sitting right next to Warm. They were too close, so he turned his face to the other side.

"Don’t turn away. Look here." Warm took out her phone, "See if this is you?"
