Ji Yunhuan listened to his words and tried to squeeze out a smile, but unfortunately, she failed.

He couldn’t help but chuckle softly.
In the evening, after Ji Yunhuan finished her bath, Qi Cheng was already lying on the bed. This was her third ti spending the night in his room.

The first few pages were pictures of the child, taken when they were still in the month of confinent. Because so of the photos were taken by her, she had decided to thoroughly docunt the baby’s entire childhood. Qi Cheng would carry the cara and take countless photos every day!
When Ji Yunhuan left, to sever ties with the Qi Family and the child, she didn’t take a single photo of the child. She thought it would make her less attached, but she hadn’t anticipated that decision would beco her biggest regret these past two years.
Seeing the baby, not even a month old, tore at her heart.
Her fingers reached out to touch the tiny fingers in the photo. He was so small, so small. She couldn’t understand how she had the heart to abandon him back then.
If she could have stayed by his side and spent more ti with him, perhaps she wouldn’t regret it so much now.
The album was thick. Instinct told her there was more than just a few photos at the start.
With an excited heart, Ji Yunhuan flipped through a few more pages. Sure enough, there were so photos she hadn’t seen before.
The photos were stored in chronological order. The baby looked adorable in every single one.
Sotis he was smiling, sotis curiously looking at a certain spot...
Over ti, he gradually changed, looking more and more like Qi Cheng. Watching him made Ji Yunhuan’s heart ache.

She was probably the most unqualified mother in the world!

Ji Yunhuan responded, staring blankly at the last photo.
He walked over, sat beside her, and looked at the child in the photo. "Do you like it? This gift."
"Thank you." Staying beside him, she finally saw a glimr of hope.
Qi Cheng smiled at her. "I knew you would like it. I specially had soone deliver it."
He knew he should give her so hope. Only then would she consider staying by his side.
Ji Yunhuan suddenly grabbed his hand, pleading, "Qi Cheng, I want to see him. I want to see him right now! I’m desperate."
"Not now." His expression turned serious.
Ji Yunhuan paused, looked at him, and said sowhat disappointedly, "Are you afraid that after I see him, I’ll leave you? If you let see him, I promise I’ll stay by your side until you get tired of ."
"What if I don’t let you see him?" His gaze fixed on her as he carefully observed her reaction.
"I will leave you now." If that were the case, it would only prove that letting her see the child was just a ploy to keep her around.
After all, for the child’s sake, she had already gone to bed with him more than once. Was he still not satisfied?
If he only missed her body, she could endure the humiliation and stay with him for the child’s sake.
But she was too afraid, afraid that he had feelings for her.
Even though she thought she had hurt him too deeply two years ago for him to still love her, his possessiveness these days made her fearful.
Her biggest fear was falling in love with him again. She also feared that he would love her!
She had already hurt him once. She didn’t want to hurt him again like before.
So, if he truly had feelings for her, she would rather leave him sooner.
Qi Cheng stared into her eyes. In them were emotions he couldn’t decipher.
He calmly turned his gaze away. "I said not now. I will arrange it later."
"You are the child’s father. As long as you make arrangents, I can see him. Why not? If you are worried about your family, rest assured, I won’t let him recognize . I won’t admit my identity in front of him; I just want to see him." Ji Yunhuan grabbed his hand, pleading, "As long as you let see him, I’ll agree to anything, Qi Cheng."
Qi Cheng regretted giving her the album a little.
He said, "I will have the driver take you back."
"What?" If she didn’t mishear, he was telling her to leave!
He had forced her to stay last night, and now he wanted her to leave?

Ji Yunhuan stared at him. In the morning light, his silhouette had an indescribable handsoness.
He placed one hand in his pants pocket, looking displeased.
Ji Yunhuan gazed at him, her thoughts complex. When he turned to look at her, she said disappointedly, "I get it now, you’re just afraid that once I see the child, I won’t care about you anymore."
