Married First, Loved Later : A Flash Marriage with My Ex's 'Uncle' Chapter 95: Mesmerized by Him
"President Clark! Are you really willing to destroy the entire Clark Group just to protect Natalia? Clark Group is the result of all our hard work, not just yours!"
"That’s right!"
Another shareholder shouted angrily, "You’re blinded by favoritism, but we’re not fools! We all know the truth! Natalia wanted the eldest Miss Clark dead, and you’re still covering for her!"
"In your eyes, is this illegitimate daughter the only one that matters? Are the rest of us nothing? Should the entire Clark Group be buried along with her?!"
"A bastard will always be a bastard—manipulative and ruthless. Snatching the position of a legitimate wife wasn’t enough; now, she even wants to kill the true heiress!"
Though the shareholders didn’t hold majority stakes, the company’s downfall affected each of them directly.
The collapse of any of Clark Group’s business chains would be devastating to their personal wealth.
Now, all of it was crumbling in an instant—because of Natalia’s lies and deception.
How could they not be furious?!
The room turned into chaos, filled with rage and resentnt.
"Natalia, admit it already! You just can’t stand to see the eldest Miss Clark doing well! Confess!"
"You curse upon this family, say sothing! How shaless can you be? How could you even think of harming your own sister? Are you even human?!"
Natalia’s eyes were bloodshot, and her entire body trembled in disgrace.
Katie sobbed and wailed, but the shareholders ignored her.
Then, suddenly, soone kicked Natalia’s knee from behind—thud—she collapsed onto the floor!
Instead of helping her up, one of the shareholders imdiately turned to Logan with a flattering smile.
"Mr. Reid, look... Natalia knows she was wrong. She’s kneeling before the eldest Miss Clark!"
Natalia’s face turned pale with humiliation, tears streaming uncontrollably down her cheeks.
She didn’t understand—why?
Wasn’t Clark Group supposed to be hers?
She was the rightful heiress of Clark Family! How did things turn out this way?
She just wanted Selina dead—was that really so wrong?!
Logan tilted his head slightly. "Satisfied now?"
Selina blinked. "Mr. Reid, are you really helping vent my anger?"
The man smirked lazily. "What other motive could I possibly have? Mrs. Reid, don’t overcomplicate things."
Hearing this, Selina turned her gaze back to Natalia, fully enjoying the sight of her kneeling in disgrace.
Natalia was no stranger to kneeling.
She always played the victim, making herself appear pitiful and helpless, as if the entire world had wronged her.
But this ti was different.
This ti, Natalia wasn’t kneeling as an act—she was truly at rock bottom.
Selina nodded approvingly. "Very satisfied."
"Then let her kneel a little longer," Logan ordered. "Jack."
Just then, the ringing phones across the room suddenly fell silent.
Jack chuckled. "It seems the Clark Group executives all agree that the person who proposed this marriage alliance with Steven was Natalia. Since Miss Clark likes Steven so much, why not have her marry him instead?"
Katie wailed, "But my daughter is already engaged to Ryan! Mr. Reid, you can’t do this!"
"If Natalia won’t marry him, then Clark Family must offer an explanation. Otherwise, how can we let our madam suffer such an injustice? Surely an illegitimate daughter shouldn’t hold more value than the true heiress."
Jack’s voice was crisp and professional, perfectly echoing Logan’s intent.
"Mr. Clark, it’s about ti your company officially nas an heir, wouldn’t you say?"
Jas clenched his teeth—this was a direct demand for him to recognize Selina as his sole successor.
If he did that... then what about Natalia?
The company was ant to belong to her!
But now, he had no choice.
With great difficulty, Jas forced out the words, "Y-Yes... I’ll issue the order imdiately. In a few days, we will formally announce to all shareholders that Selina is my only rightful heir..."
"No, Jas, you can’t! What about Natalia?"
Katie lunged forward in a panic, her face full of desperation. "Natalia is your most beloved daughter! You can’t abandon her!"
Natalia had cried until she was completely drained. She couldn’t believe this was happening.
No shares, no inheritance, scorned by every shareholder...
Today was supposed to be Selina’s downfall.
So why was she the one losing everything?
Natalia t Selina’s gaze, resentnt and fury surging within her. Her vision darkened, and—she fainted on the spot!
"Natalia! Natalia!"
Katie crawled to her daughter’s side, sobbing uncontrollably. "Jas, save our daughter!"
But Jas had no ti for them. His entire body trembled with fear.
"Mr. Reid, is this arrangent... satisfactory to you?"
Logan’s tone was indifferent. "For Selina’s sake, I’ll let Clark Group off this ti. But Mr. Clark, you should rember—an illegitimate daughter will always be an illegitimate daughter. If there’s a next ti, I hope you’re prepared to bury Clark Group along with her."
Jas collapsed onto his chair, his body going weak.
It was over. It was finally over.
A wave of terror washed over him as he swallowed dryly.
"Selina, my child... If we had known you were married to Mr. Reid, we never would’ve arranged this marriage alliance! I—I promise to punish Natalia properly this ti, don’t worry!"
Selina’s expression was ice cold.
"Mr. Clark, why don’t you take care of your own family drama before you try to act like a father to ? And tell your mistress to stop wailing—her voice is unbearable."
She turned to Logan and said casually, "Logan, let’s go."
Logan glanced at her, then followed her out the door.
Jas sat there in a daze, wiping the cold sweat from his forehead.
Katie’s sobs and pleas echoed in his ears.
He turned his head to look at Natalia—unconscious and humiliated.
He had once believed she was his greatest pride.
But now, Selina had married Logan Reid.
Outside Clark Group.
The rain had started to drizzle, and Selina felt fantastic.
Logan walked half a step behind her. "Mrs. Reid, you went to Clark Group alone—why didn’t you tell ?"
Selina cleared her throat. "I didn’t expect them to be bold enough to actually lay hands on ."
The man lowered his gaze, saying nothing.
Selina suddenly thought of sothing. "By the way, those calls about the asset seizures and acquisitions... were they real?"
Logan gave a slight nod. "Did Mrs. Reid think I’d need to fake taking over such insignificant businesses?"
Insignificant businesses...
Selina nearly choked.
Only Logan could casually call Clark Group and Taylor Group’s assets "insignificant."
Just then, a light drizzle began to fall outside the office building.
She was about to turn around to ntion she hadn’t brought an umbrella—when she suddenly froze.
Logan’s long black coat fluttered slightly in the wind, revealing the smooth, silk fabric of his dark shirt.
The outline of his sculpted abs was faintly visible beneath it.
His features were both commanding and breathtakingly refined.
His sharp, deep-set eyes were like the ocean—endlessly deep, utterly captivating.
Since when... was Logan this good-looking?
Selina swallowed hard.
Her gaze involuntarily traveled downward—from his face to his broad chest, then to his abs... and then back up again.
Over and over.
"Mrs. Reid," Logan suddenly leaned down, his lips curving into a smirk.
"What exactly are you staring at?"
"You’re completely srized."
Selina snapped out of it, breaking into a violent fit of coughing.
Her face flushed red as she quickly looked away.
She had just been blatantly ogling her husband’s body.
Logan’s lips curled slightly.
He leaned in even closer, his deep voice low and magnetic, sending a tingling sensation through her ears.
"Selina," he murmured, his breath warm against her skin.
"Say sothing."
