Grandma Perry only cast a faint glance at the people outside the door, and they imdiately caught on.

Then she said coolly, "Ronald plagiarized Selina. Owen truly didn’t know? Alia truly didn’t know?"

Grandpa Perry’s face flushed red. "How could Alia and Owen possibly know..."

"Heh." Grandma Perry curled her lips in a cold smile. "Why don’t you go ask your precious adopted daughter and your precious grandson, see if they really knew nothing about Ronald’s plagiarism. And even if—let’s say—they didn’t know..."

Bang—

Grandma Perry slamd the watering can in her hand down hard, her expression icy. "On what grounds do you demand Selina’s forgiveness?"

Grandpa Perry’s face grew even redder. "Can’t you think about the bigger picture for once?! All Selina has to do is nod, and yet she refuses. You... shaless woman!"

Grandma Perry gave a short, cutting laugh and shot back, "So that’s the Perry Family—selfish to the bone. As long as it isn’t your own honor that’s been plagiarized, you think Selina is being unreasonable and ignoring the bigger picture? Then tell —what exactly has your precious grandson done for the bigger picture?"

"Ronald plagiarized a perfur from Country M, insulted Country M’s perfurs as second-rate and unworthy of the stage. It was Selina and Logan who stood up and turned the tide. And Owen? He threw his support behind a foreign plagiarist to suppress his own country’s perfu industry. And you still dare claim Owen was thinking of the bigger picture?"

"Daisy Green!" Grandpa Perry barked furiously, sensing the shift in the eyes of the people outside.

Daisy Green was Grandma Perry’s given na. For so many years, everyone had called her Mrs. Perry, or Grandma Perry. It had been a very, very long ti since anyone had addressed her as Daisy.

Daisy froze for a second or two, then gave a sharp, scornful laugh. "What, did I say sothing wrong? Didn’t Owen support Ronald in plagiarizing his own country’s perfurs? Didn’t he help Ronald crush his own country’s perfu industry? And didn’t you demand that your own country’s perfurs bow their heads and ’forgive’ them for Owen and Ronald’s sake?"

"You—you... this hasn’t risen to that level. We’re all family here..."

Grandpa Perry realized he had slipped, but before he could finish, an angry voice cut in from outside:

"No wonder Lady Green moved out of the Perry Family! The Perry Family really is shaless—what twisted logic is this?! Owen joined forces with a plagiarist dog from Country Y to suppress Piper and crush Country M’s perfu industry, and now you expect Piper to bow down?!"

"Owen can’t tell right from wrong, siding with a plagiarist to trample on originality. And Grandpa Perry still defends him—has he lost his mind?!"

"Quick, spread the word! No one should ever cooperate with the Perry Family—or with Owen. Otherwise, they’ll be sold out without even knowing it."

"My god, why is Owen so intent on helping foreign perfurs suppress his own country’s? Could he be... a traitor?"

"Shut up!" Grandpa Perry’s heart dropped. He knew if this went on any further, disaster would strike. He turned back, roaring furiously:

"Daisy! Owen is Anna’s son. Do you even think of Anna when you speak this way? Do you want Anna to turn in her grave?!"

Daisy sneered, her eyes suddenly sharp as blades. "Anna’s son?"

"Didn’t I warn you not to bring that up in front of again? I made myself clear enough on Anna’s death anniversary. Grandpa Perry, if you don’t want to expose the truth about Owen and Alia’s identities, then you’d better keep your mouth shut and stop provoking ."

"Otherwise..."

Daisy gracefully brushed her shawl, flicking away a fallen leaf—as though Grandpa Perry, too, were nothing but useless trash in her eyes.

"Otherwise, I won’t hesitate to drag the Perry Family down to ruin with . After all, my daughter is dead. I have nothing left to care about. Do you understand?"

Grandpa Perry ground his teeth. "You crazy—"

Before the words crazy woman could even leave his mouth, Daisy cut in coldly.

"If he won’t leave properly, then throw him out. Butler!"

"Yes, Madam."

The next mont, Grandpa Perry was beaten and kicked out the door. "You dare hit ! You dare kick —ahhh, Daisy, you lunatic, you maniac!"

Daisy glanced back at him coldly, not sparing him even a look.

Other than Logan, there was truly no one she cared about anymore. And Logan didn’t need her protection.

Grandma Perry? No—Daisy Green.

From now on, she was only Daisy Green. To hell with being Grandma Perry, to hell with being the Perry Family’s matriarch.

Grandpa Perry was thrown out, but the gossip still spread.

Especially the part he had said—"We’re all one family, Owen only ant well."

ant well? ant well how? Knowing Ronald looked down on the people of Country M, Owen still scrambled to work with him, even going along with Ronald’s insults to his own country’s perfurs.

That’s what you call good intentions?

And now, even knowing Ronald plagiarized, he still demanded Selina’s forgiveness.

Worse, soone recorded Owen’s tantrum and uploaded it online, and it spread like wildfire.

For example, at Sapphire Valley Villa, after Miller the butler ordered him escorted out, Owen had still raged at the top of his lungs:

"Logan has no brotherly loyalty! How can that little bastard trample on ?! I should’ve let him die back then! Why isn’t he dead already?!"

"And Selina—so what if Ronald plagiarized your formula?! Why can’t you be generous?! Ronald’s from Country Y! Shouldn’t you be kneeling and licking his boots?! Why do you have to slap Ronald in the face?! AHHH, you two bastards ruined ! I’ll make you pay with your lives!"

This outrageous video went viral. Shares of the Perry Family and Reid Group plumted again and again, their market share shrinking by the day. Especially the Reid Group—after all, Owen bore the Reid na, and the entire Reid Family had supported him.

Inside the Reid Group’s boardroom, the atmosphere was suffocating, grim. Several shareholders were speechless.

Selina was Logan’s wife. Logan was the rightful heir to the Reid Group. That ant Selina was family.

And if perfur Piper was considered "family" of the Reid Group... the profits to be had were beyond imagination.

Yet because of Owen, the Reid Family had nearly severed ties with Logan and utterly alienated Selina.

Now, soone who should have been "family" stood firmly against them.

...It was over.

...

Selina, of course, had seen the video online. Her brow arched as she looked at Logan in surprise. "No wonder you didn’t want to go ho. You knew Owen went to Sapphire Valley Villa?"

Logan said calmly, "Didn’t know beforehand."

Selina nodded. "You guessed?"

"Mm. Easy enough to guess."

Logan’s tone was casual. "All Owen can do now is throw his impotent tantrums. Where else would he go?"

Of course—to Sapphire Valley Villa.

And besides...

Logan’s lips curved faintly.

The only reason Owen had managed to get into Sapphire Valley Villa and "make a scene" was because Logan had allowed it.

He had deliberately let Owen in. Deliberately given him the chance to cause trouble.

After all, commotion is best when shared.

And look—thanks to Owen’s little outburst, wasn’t the internet wonderfully lively now?
