Everyone stared wide-eyed at the stage, completely stunned.

That was Angelica’s design? ...God!

A breathtaking white gown was rolled onto the stage. The length, the cut, the pattern—every detail was flawlessly executed.

One contestant murmured, "I’ve never seen a design this stunning in my life..."

"So that’s the gap between and Angelica..."

"Well, she’s already Morris Group’s lead designer. She must have serious skills. This championship is definitely hers."

Even the judges were full of praise for Angelica just monts ago.

"We have our winner."

"Isn’t there still Selina?"

"Co on. She’s not even in the sa league as Angelica."

"Mr. Rowan, what do you think?"

Everyone turned to look.

Instantly, the venue went silent. Not a breath was heard.

Rowan—the most renowned designer in the country. A national treasure who controlled half the fashion industry. He also held the competition’s golden vote, aning he alone could veto or crown the winner.

He always wore a mask. No one had ever seen his face.

Angelica looked up shyly, biting her lip.

Would Rowan praise her? If he did, no one would ever dare question her again.

Sure, the dress was technically designed by Selina, but what did it matter? Everything Selina had should’ve belonged to her. The design sketch was hers now. She was even being generous by letting Selina have that much.

Logan’s gaze landed on the gown.

A pure white dress—truly striking. No surprise, coming from Mrs. Reid.

He lifted his eyes slightly and nodded with detached calm. "Not bad."

The audience collectively held its breath.

Rowan had spoken. He said it was "not bad"!

After all these years, the only designer Rowan had ever openly praised was Star.

Rigel’s face lit up with excitent. Angelica clenched her fists tightly, nearly trembling. The entire audience was buzzing.

"She got unanimous praise from the judges and Rowan himself likes her design—what a dream."

"There’s no suspense. Angelica has this in the bag. Selina’s next, and there’s no way she can top this."

Selina narrowed her eyes.

As expected, Angelica’s design was identical to hers.

And Rowan’s complint?

Well, the silhouette and the structure of that dress had been designed by her. Of course it deserved praise.

Angelica’s aunt from the Morris Family bead with pride and raised her chin smugly.

"See that? That’s Angelica’s real skill! And so people have the nerve to show their face here. So what if Angelica lost a championship once—she’s already winning another one!"

Others chid in with flattery: "Exactly. Miss Clark is a true talent. This title belongs to her."

"Last ti, Miss Angelica only lost because of those shortsighted fools from the Clark Family. Selina just got lucky. She doesn’t need to bribe judges—her talent speaks for itself."

Selina’s smile grew deeper.

Right. Angelica had the "talent." Winning a title was totally normal.

But what if... every ounce of Angelica’s "talent" had been stolen?

Onstage, one judge—eager to curry favor with the Morris Family and Rigel—suggested, "I say we declare the winner now. Angelica’s work is clearly beyond the average. Not giving her the championship would be unjustified."

"I agree. She has my vote, hands down."

"Well, Mr. Rowan...?"

All eyes turned to Rowan again.

Angelica looked at him with hope and expectation.

Logan, still relaxed, spoke coolly: "Champion?"

"A design competition is supposed to be fair and impartial. This is what you call fair?"

"You want to declare a winner without reviewing all the entries? Since when did design competitions beco a joke?"

Rigel’s face turned sour.

What the hell did Rowan an by that? The only contestant left was Selina—was it really necessary to even look at her work? No matter how hard she tried, there was no way she could beat Angelica.

But Rowan was the major shareholder of the design competition. Rigel bit his tongue—he couldn’t argue.

"Mr. Rigel, esteed judges, there’s really no need to do this."

Angelica stepped in with fake graciousness. "Please, let’s give my little sister a chance. Selina worked so hard to make it to the finals. We can’t just eliminate her because of ."

"Selina’s my sister, and I believe in her work. I’m sure it will be a pleasant surprise for everyone."

From the audience, Angelica’s aunt from the Morris Family scowled. "Angelica is way too kind. Giving her a chance? Soone like her doesn’t deserve to be compared to you."

Rigel’s expression was openly mocking onstage. "Co on, Angelica. What kind of decent design could she possibly produce?"

Angelica sighed dramatically. "But still... you all know how Selina is. Alright, alright, I won’t say more. Let her co up."

Then she turned to look at Selina with a smug glint, hoping to catch a glimpse of panic on her face.

After all, seeing her own design paraded around under soone else’s na should’ve crushed her. She should be shocked, devastated.

But when Angelica locked eyes with Selina, she was stunned—Selina looked perfectly calm, not a hint of surprise.

...Impossible!

Angelica clenched her teeth. Selina had to be faking it.

Fine, then. Let’s see how she plans to handle what’s coming.

Selina just smiled, lips curling with ease.

Angelica’s little act had almost smacked her in the face by now.

"Selina, co on up."

Angelica kept up her fake sisterly tone. "Don’t worry, the judges won’t be too harsh. Even if you don’t place, I’ll still support you. You can count on . I’ll always be behind you."

Selina: "..."

She wanted to gag. No, hold it in—the performance wasn’t over yet.

Logan ran his fingers slowly along his knuckles.

He rembered Mrs. Reid saying she wanted to handle the feud between her and Angelica herself.

But now Angelica had backed her into a corner. So what exactly was Mrs. Reid planning?

Angelica kept pretending to be gracious. "Judges, please don’t be too critical. Selina really loves design—I’ve seen it with my own eyes..."

Then, as Selina’s dress design was wheeled out onto the stage, the judges’ expressions began to shift.

Angelica continued ’praising’ her, "Selina, if you ever need help in the future, I can bring you to the Morris Group’s design departnt. There’s so much to learn there. I—"

"Angelica, stop being an idiot!" Rigel suddenly snapped.

Angelica turned, stunned. "Mr. Rigel, I understand you have opinions about Selina. Maybe she pretended to be Star’s friend out of vanity, but please believe , she’s—"

"Look at Selina’s entry before you keep talking!" Rigel cut her off, his voice rising with anger. "Angelica, everything you’ve done for Selina isn’t just pointless—it’s humiliating!"

Now, everyone’s eyes turned toward Selina’s work.

"What the hell?"

"Why does Selina’s gown look exactly like Angelica’s?!"
