Perry’s POV

"Where is she?" My voice cut through the air like ice. I could sense Flynn’s scheming from miles away, though the full scope of his betrayal remained hidden. "Answer , Flynn. Where is she?"

"Who?" Flynn fought to keep his voice steady, but his effort fell short. "Why are you here, Perry? You should be resting at the hospital."

He stepped forward, but my fist connected with his face before he could get closer. The sickening crack of bone rang through the dining room, followed by dishes crashing to the floor as his body slamd into the table.

"Where is she, Flynn?" I repeated, fury blazing in my chest. I stalked toward my royal beta, who clutched his shattered nose, moving like a hunter closing in on wounded prey. "I won’t repeat myself again. You’d better speak now."

Flynn muttered curses while snapping his nose back into place before his healing kicked in—otherwise, he’d have to break it again later.

"She left," he gasped, scrambling to put space between us. He could feel the deadly intent radiating from . I was going to end him.

"Left?" I crouched down, seizing his hand in a grip that could snap his wrist if he gave the wrong answer. "Where? How could she possibly leave?"

Phoebe was sick. There was no way she’d gone anywhere on her own.

"Perry, please let explain—"

Crack.

I shattered his wrist. That wasn’t the answer I wanted, and I’d already warned him I wouldn’t ask twice.

"Perry!" Flynn stared at in shock, searching my face for any trace of emotion. He found nothing.

I’d sparred with Timothy countless tis. We’d wounded each other, though I’d never killed him.

But I’d never laid a violent hand on Flynn before. The worst I’d done was threaten to snap his neck—empty threats I’d never follow through on.

This was different.

I’d punched him. Broken his wrist.

And felt absolutely nothing while doing it.

"Perry! Argh!"

Flynn’s scream tore through the room as I twisted his wrist further. I could feel the bones grinding under my grip, his hand going numb except for the blinding agony.

"I gave her to Reginald!" The words burst from his lips as I reached for his shoulder, preparing to break that too.

He knew I’d shatter every bone in his body until I got what I needed. His pain tolerance clearly wasn’t up to the task.

"Reginald?" Rage exploded behind my eyes. Of all the possible betrayals, Flynn had chosen this...

"ARGH!" His wail echoed as I dislocated his shoulder with one violent wrench.

"You did what?" I grabbed his chin, forcing his head up so he had to et my gaze. "What did you do?"

"Reginald... he wanted her..."

Blind fury consud . I stood and drove my foot into his ribs. His body flew across the room, only stopping when he hit the wall with a sickening thud.

Blood poured from Flynn’s mouth as he clutched his chest, each breath a struggle. My single kick had cracked several ribs.

But I wasn’t finished.

I approached him again and placed my foot on his knee. Not just resting—crushing it beneath my weight.

His body convulsed as he tried pushing my leg away with his good hand. His left arm was useless now, mangled and dislocated. He couldn’t even shift into his beast form.

Even if he managed to shift, it wouldn’t matter. He had zero chance against .

If I let my own beast take control, Flynn would be finished.

Dead within seconds.

Though this pain might be worse than death itself.

"Perry, please... try to understand... I did this for your own good. She was poison for you... You couldn’t keep her..."

I shifted my weight to his thigh and snapped his femur like a twig.

Flynn couldn’t breathe anymore. The excruciating pain scrambled his thoughts, the room spinning wildly. The last thing he saw was my black beast erging.

He was about to die...

Phoebe’s POV

"I have you now..." Reginald crouched in front of , his eyes gleaming with triumph. This was the woman he’d craved since first laying eyes on .

If anyone thought he wanted just to hurt Kevin, they were dead wrong. Reginald had been obsessing over since I was a six-year-old child.

He’d wanted for years, but Kevin claid first. His betrayal shouldn’t have surprised anyone. Kevin should have seen it coming.

"You’re mine now. Finally. Aren’t you thrilled, Phoebe?" His hand reached out to stroke my cheek.

We sat inside the car. Reginald had dismissed the warrior outside—he wanted privacy for our "conversation."

He craved alone ti with .

Years of restraint were over. Now he could do whatever he pleased.

I belonged to him.

"I’m sure you don’t rember , but I will always rember you."
