"Who?"

The three of them asked altogether.

"Sabrina Jarlin," Lucien answered. Then, he recalled his last night’s conversation with Sabrina.

"But you hate witches," Leia said in disbelief. "Why did a witch approach you?" She was as confused as the other two brothers.

"I don’t like them," he corrected her. "You think I hate everyone around ," Lucien taunted her. "Last night she called regarding Delia. According to her, Delia was looking for a new crystal ball and wanted ab address from her about such a shop. She provided the sa address," he briefly explained. "Witches don’t want to create troubles for themselves by standing in my way. That’s why Sabrina told about Delia."

"But why? Witches possess powers. They can easily use it to defeat you," Leia murmured, still not able to understand why Sabrina betrayed her own kind.

"Lucien, you should tell her how you ended one entire clan of witches years ago," Kieran intervened.

Leia lifted her head to look at him, then lowered her head to glance at Lucien. She could see sothing in his eyes didn’t feel right.

"Witches are scared of him," Kieran said, looking at Leia. "That’s why Sabrina helped him."

"Delia sold out your information to the auction house owner. In return, soone sold her information to . Aren’t you happy that Delia got to taste her own dicine?" Lucien inquired, his eyes holding the storm raging within him.

"I’d like to see her," Leia urged.

"It would be best if we’ve our morning breakfast first," Lucien suggested.

"No," Leia refused.

"Follow ," Lucien rose to his feet, tucked the buttons of his blazer and walked straight to the main entrance. Leia, Ronan and Kieran followed the Alpha.

They all slid into the car and drove to the pack’s prison center, which was at least ten minutes away from the mansion.

As Leia stepped out of the backseat, she looked at the eerie structure before her. However, it was only one-storey. She realized the dungeons or prison cells must be underground. She followed Lucien closely, and stopped only upon reaching outside a cell, inside which Delia was held captive.

The guard opened the door and pushed it in.

Lucien stepped in first, followed by Leia and the other two alphas.

Her breath hitched seeing Delia being tied with shackles. She was stood on a thin wooden plank with her hands tied with the rope to the center of the ceiling.

Lucien stepped up, taking a cold mug of water from the guard and splashed it on Delia’s face.

She jolted awake from her sleeping state and breathed hard.

"I’ll kill you!!!" Delia scread.

"Delia," Leia whispered her na.

She gazed at Leia and a smirk appeared on her face. "You chose to betray , Leia. How could you do this? I thought we were sisters. You chose to listen to a werewolf than ," Delia started blaming her without any reason.

Delia’s eyes narrowed as she locked gazes with Leia. A twisted smirk curled on her lips.

"You chose to betray , Leia," she hissed. "How could you? I thought we were sisters. You—you chose to side with a werewolf over . But then you are also a fucking wolf!"

Leia’s brows furrowed in confusion and hurt. "I didn’t betray you. You lied to , Delia, about everything. You worked with Malrik. You sent wolves to hunt down. Why? Why would you do that?" Her voice trembled, but her eyes searched Delia’s desperately for the truth.

"I hate wolves," Delia spat in a bitter tone. "I lost my father because of them. They murdered him."

Leia recoiled slightly. "But that has nothing to do with !" she exclaid. A strange chill crept into her spine. This wasn’t the Delia she had known, the one who claid to hate violence just like she did. This woman in front of her felt like a stranger.

Delia’s expression darkened and a deep resentnt could be seen in her eyes. "It was your father and the other wolves, who killed mine. My mother told everything, how he was accused of cris he never committed, how a packs of wolves sentenced him to death without a fair trial. From that day forward, I swore I’d make them pay. But by the ti I found out who your father really was, he was already dead. Then, I decided to kill his family, but there was no information about them."

Leia’s heart sank as realization hit her.

"I had no information until you told who you were," Delia went on. "You told you were the last she-wolf. That your long-lost desire is to find your father. And the mont, you told your father’s na, I realized you were his blood. And that’s when I decided to make you pay for what your father did."

Leia staggered back a step as tears brimd in her eyes.

"My... my father..." Leia whispered as Delia’s brutal words crashed down on her.

Lucien imdiately stepped forward and caught her as her knees buckled slightly. His warm hand pressed gently to her back, steadying her.

Delia’s smile twisted into an evil grin. "I wanted you to see the kind of hell your kind has built," she sneered. "That’s why I sold your identity to the auction house. I knew once they had you, I could use your na, to infiltrate the pack. With your help, I’d cause enough chaos to tear the wolves apart from within."

Ronan’s eyes glowed with fury. A thunderous growl ca out of his mouth. "Enough of your poisonous words! You’ll pay for every lie you told to Leia! You’re not walking out of here alive."

Delia’s gaze didn’t waver, if anything, it softened in mock sorrow as she kept her gaze fixed on Leia.

"Leia... can you really watch die?" she asked. "We were sisters once. You trusted . Loved . Don’t tell you’ve beco just like your bloodthirsty father. Is that who you are now?"

Leia flinched as if slapped hard.

"Shut your mouth now! Leia isn’t like you. Whatever her father did has nothing to do with you," Lucien snapped at her in a cold tone.

"Let’s go," he then told Leia and walked her out of the prison. Kieran and Ronan followed them closely while the guard locked the prison once again.
