Although he knew absorbing the beast core would give him a large EXP boost, he didn't think it would be this much!
To think he would actually unlock not one but two affinities! One from the beast core and another from attaining level 10.
His body trembled with excitent, he remained silent for a few second and simply stared at the notifications in front of him.
'So mana is basically EXP to …' Harry muttered. He was quite surprised at first when he got EXP for absorbing the beast core, he had only been focused on the rewards of the optional quest.
But he understood what happened, the system gave him an optional quest to absorb the beast core and he was also given the rewards for absorbing the beast core!

He wasn't too surprised at the level up notifications that appeared in front of him. Due to the large amount of EXP he recently gained, it was only natural he leveled up.
Another thing that slightly surprised him was the hidden quests, this wasn't the first ti he completed a hidden quest so it wasn't too shocking. The only thing that was shocking was the rewards. They also contributed a lot to his level ups.
Although he was happy about the rewards he got from the hidden quests, he was also worried about them.
From what he had discovered about the system quests, so of the quest had punishnts that would be administered once he failed them.
Since he didn't know the hidden quests—they wouldn't be called 'hidden' if he did, he wouldn't know the punishnts either. He might not even know if he passed or failed a hidden quest, so of the punishnts might be fatal and failing those type of quest would be really bad for him.
'The Manaless mage pride quest had an hidden punishnt too… if I hadn't passed it, it would have lost my recently gained Lightning affinity.' Harry mumbled inwardly.
'I shouldn't think about this too much…' He thought. He knew the system would never set an impossible quest for him, the quests could be difficult but not impossible. All he had to do now for focus on his current stats and rewards.
Just when he thought he wouldn't receive anymore surprises from the system, another notification from the system appeared in front of him.
