Chapter 449 - Your last chance.
When Feng Shufen carried Li Xue out from the Jíxiáng Riverside, a black Maybach was already waiting for them, ready to take them back. Feng Yi Lan was following them from behind with pouted lips that were ready to put all her complaints forward. Seeing the car almost at the reach, her eyes shone with relief.
But just when she thought that she could finally reach inside and rest, a Rolls Royce ca to stop just in front of them.
Feng Shufen's eyes stared at the car for so ti. He was not surprised to see it coming here but Feng Yi Lan's brows only got furrowed beside him. Her fists clenched on her sides as she saw the man stepping out of the car. Her eyes went to stare at her brother for a mont but she didn't intend any mither. Keeping her lips pressed, she just looked at the man making his way towards them. She could read the lines of worry on his forehead but was no longer feeling any concern about it.
"LanLan! Finally, I co to find you. Why did you leave like that? You know how worried I was there?" Qi Shuai said, coming near the woman and holding her by her arms.
Feng Yi Lan did not protest. She let him hold her but did not reply to any of his words. Her anger was the sa. Though she knew that he was not rightfully at fault. That he has also been compelled to that situation. But even after knowing and understanding all of that, she still could not bring herself to forgive him and let go of the situation. Qi Shuai felt her heart clenching at her attitude of callousness. But he was not in the stand to complain, knowing that it was his fault in the place. His eyes guiltily stared at the woman but did not put any further efforts to stop her back for himself.
Feng Yi Lan also did not care to stay back. Taking her steps forward, she simply walked towards the car, but just in halfway she was halted by her brother's words.
"Get on the front passenger seat!" Feng Shufen said, remaining still at his position. All this ti he has not failed to miss the things happening in front of his eyes. He has not missed seeing the hesitation in the eyes of the sister and also the helplessness in the eyes of his friend.
Feng Yi Lan instantly turned around to look at her brother, raising her brows to complain, "Brother, why would I sit at the front. I have always taken a comfortable seat at the back of the car and today I am also tired. I will feel better sitting behind".
"There is no extra seat behind and I won't want my wife to get uncomfortable. So, if you want to co along with us, get on the front passenger seat", Feng Shufen said nonchalantly, keeping his expressions all firm and poker.
Feng Yi Lan could only gape in surprise. Was this for real? Did her brother forget all his chivalrous behaviour at the bay? How could he be this deadly to his own sister?
"Brother, you are truly a Devil! Can't you treat better?" she said with so aggression in her voice.
"If treating my wife better makes beco Devil, then I don't care to be called one. Carry on! And if you are really feeling that uncomfortable then you can call a cab again and go ho one your own, the sa way you did before coming here!" the man said and Yi Lan could only get astounded at his words.

But anyway, I would have much better ways for that later. For now, you can accompany Qi Shuai. He will drop you at your place and you can be all comfortable in his car". He said looking between the two people standing in front.
Qi Shuai looked at his friend and instantly understood the help he was offering. His eyes shone as he turned to look at Yi Lan and said, "Yes, LanLan! Co with . I will drop you ho. You can rest in the back seat; I would have no problem".
Feng Yi Lan looked at her brother and then at Qi Shuai. "No, I am fine! I will go along with my brother. You don't have to take the bother".
"Since when did Qi Shuai taking care of you beco a bother? Is there sothing I have not known?" Suddenly, Feng Shufen asked and Feng Yi Lan instantly panicked. She has never intended to let her brother know about her complicated relationship with Qi Shuai. And now seeing the more things happening between them she definitely couldn't risk things more.
"Oh, Brother, that's nothing! I just don't want to be a bother to Brother Shuai, since there is quite a distance between our place. But since he has no problem dropping off. I will better accompany him and be comfortable on my way back". Yi Lan said, trying her best to conceal the things.
Feng Shufen eyed between them once more before nodding. Feng Yi Lan did not wait and quickly went back to get on the back seat of Rolls Royce.
Qi Shuai also smiled at his friend but only got a stern warning in return. "Better not ruin this ti. This will be your last chance." Feng Shufen said before carrying Li Xue toward his Maybach.
