"Did you see that?" Beside Ni’an, a young man in a fur coat whispered, looking intently at Carlson.

Just now, Carlson had used an attack of devastating magnitude, one that could wipe out thousands if released in a wide-area attack.

For Leon, it was a matter of a wave of the hand, but to ordinary troops? This unknown spell could spell the doom of any campaign.

"Yes, I saw it, Jaye, but I can no longer interfere. If you want to go back, then just say so," Ni’an replied, then stared annoyingly at the young man.

The information on the attack used by Carlson right now was extrely valuable to the alliance and could save thousands of lives…. Bringing it to the alliance should be the number one priority of any soldier from the alliance.

"But…" The young man was a bit taken aback, then smiled bitterly.

He didn’t want to go to the central region. Unlike Ni’an, he was completely fine with his lifestyle here in the outer regions. But, because of his talent, Ni’an had refused ti and ti again his requests to stay back…. He really couldn’t get out of this.

"But nothing. The alliance does not have a scarcity of powerful people and powerful spells. I’m sure they will co up with a counter on the spot just like the kid did," Ni’an dismissed Jaye casually, turning all his focus to Leon and Carlson.

"You’re right; it is about ti we got serious." Carlson smiled. Flashy displays of skill could not defeat Leon here; he was not so easily handled. If he wanted to even graze him, he would need an ultimate skill.

Carlson took in a huge breath of air and stretched both hands outward, each with the L hand sign. Then abruptly, one of his hands turned down, creating an illusion of polar opposites.

"Elental Embodint: Dual Monarch Extremities."

All of a sudden, the atmosphere around Carlson changed. To his left, next to the restaurant, a chill sprang up from the bottom up, engulfing the stone wall in an icy cold wind that seeped into the wall, slowly causing it to lt like a piece of hot tal…

anwhile, on his right, a similar yet completely different scene was occurring with a hot, intangible force springing out of nowhere and lting the snow, but this was just a side effect. What really caught the eye here was the stillness that followed.

No wind, no snow drifting down, nothing. Utter stillness, like the place had been caused to freeze in ti.

"This…" Ni’an frowned at the back as he watched this scene. He knew Carlson was special. Forgetting his status, the kid looked like soone who could go through hell and back if there was a need.

It made sense for his elental embodint to be unique. But still, this feeling was familiar, like he had felt this before.

—wang—

All of a sudden, a giant apparition of a man appeared behind Carlson, holding up a ringed staff and seated in a lotus position.

Just as this happened, Ni’an no longer felt in any way confused. There was only a massive frown on his face.

"An inheritance, huh?" he mused, looking at the being behind Carlson. There was only one place to get sothing so extrely powerful, and that was not in the three regions.

This kid had entered the central region.

"Hmmm, impressive. I’d expect nothing less," Leon smiled, looking at the phenonon happening around Carlson. This was definitely sothing powerful. Just looking at Ni’an’s face, he knew this.

Fire so hot it had a freezing effect and ice so cold that it could lt anything. Dual extremities—such a powerful concept.

Carlson had beco an unrecognizable monster.

"Your turn." Carlson looked at Leon intently. He would never admit it, but back in Eldoria, he had felt extrely inferior to Leon, seeing him improve at such a high speed, quickly surpassing him at so many junctions.

He was always just one step ahead.

Thankfully, he had found his way to Sky Palace during the Sky Festival and had gotten the opportunities to fight for his future.

And after so many trials and tribulations, here he had done it; he had beco truly strong.

"Oh yes, that’s right," Leon nodded his head, then swung his dagger to the side, cutting through the very air itself.

"Beast Actualization: Malevolent Drake."

From the ground beneath him, as if erging from the earth, a cascade of red light began to form, and from it, the silhouette of a serpentine creature slowly erged from it, coiling around Leon’s figure.

As a mber of the Blood Serpent Clan, it made sense that Leon would summon a serpent-type Actualization. This was natural; what really mattered were the effects this serpentine creature had, so Carlson could only hold his breath and wait—

However, he would never, in his wildest imagination, think that at the end of the transformation, the serpentine creature would sprout wings.

"Dragon?" Carlson’s eyes widened in absolute shock.

Teeth as sharp as knives, skin as hard as the toughest tals, claws at the edge of the all-encompassing wingspan.

There was no mistaking it; this was a dragon apparition.

"Shit!! Get out of the way!" The first person to react with action was one of the village elders who, at the sight of Leon’s Actualization, pissed his pants and took off running at the sa ti.

Seconds later, countless villagers followed suit, not wanting to be caught in the crossfire of dragon fire.

"Ahhh, I was so foolish," Carlson couldn’t help but rub his face in embarrassnt. He couldn’t even start to think of the special abilities of this Actualization before him to be amazed and fearful.

This was a dragon, the apex of the apex. It didn’t matter who was debating it. Be it a lion, a three-ended warbeast, or even a golden griffin—none of them could be spoken of in the sa sentence as a dragon.

These were the sole kings in the kingdom of creatures.

"It makes sense. I went to Sky Palace, and you got recruited by the monsters in Trafalgar Forest," Carlson shook his head.

He thought that he had gotten a leg up on Leon after so many years, but it seed like this was not the case.

"We still have to clash, though," Leon smiled, understanding that there was no way Carlson would back down even now.

"Naturally." Carlson nodded, pulling his poleax from the ground and swinging it across the snow.
