"Yawwwn." At the very far edge of a wooden hallway, a young man in white robes stretched his hands outward, letting out a relieved yawn.

From the cold blizzard in the mountains to a warm fireplace with wooden padding and a cozy pillow to lay on, it was like the feeling of cool relaxation after hard work.

It was really calming.

"Food!" After taking several breaths of fresh air, the young man turned to look down the hallway, where the subtle sounds of tal cutlery tearing into at and the sll of booze emitted from.

Then, with a smile and natural strides, he walked down the hall and made a turn to the stairs.

He was hungry.

"Greetings." Leon soon arrived at a counter down the staircase and approached the lady behind the counter.

It was still quite early, but this place was already packed with the townsfolk as they sought their breakfast.

"How can I help you, young sir?" The lady behind the counter stepped forward with a big smile on her face and a cup in her hand, which she was cleaning with a piece of cloth.

"What do you have for breakfast?" Leon asked, not seeing a nu board anywhere on the counter. It seed like the culture in Sky Palace territory was very different from what he was used to.

"We have old stock beef and Rilan spearfish for protein, soft bread and tea for…" As she tried to explain their al options for the day, her eyes opened slightly, looking Leon right in the eye.

Ether.

"Ahhh, you’re one of those…" She was montarily shocked, but after a few seconds, she understood. This person was a filthy warlock.

"Hm?" Leon was confused.

"Sorry, we don’t serve food to beastfolk in this inn, only tea." The lady’s previously vibrant mood imdiately changed to one of disdain and dismissiveness.

Normally, aside from slaves, there weren’t many warlocks in Sky Palace’s territory. They had a long history of hatred between them, but even then, the slaves weren’t treated too badly.

They were just seen as free labor among poor people, but now? There was currently an ongoing conflict between them and the warlocks. There was no worse ti to be a warlock in this region than right now.

"Ohhh, I understand. I’ll have so tea, then." Leon didn’t take it to heart, of course.

He wasn’t new to discrimination; though he had hoped to get a good al after so long on the road, he wasn’t really bothered by not getting anything tangible.

Hearing Leon’s insistence, the lady behind the counter went over and poured out so hot water, added so herbs and honey, and presented it to Leon roughly.

"Here you go." Leon passed so coins to the lady while shaking his head. This was quite funny to him.

All these people were truly like ants before him. It would only take a little effort for him to eradicate them with a wave of his hand, but here they were acting so superior.

He took the cup and went over to sit not far away from the counter. Apart from the lady behind the counter, most didn’t recognize his warlock eyes, so they all just passed by casually, coming and going as soon as they finished.

However, there were a few who did notice and casually left snide remarks while they walked by.

"Filthy beast."

"Evil shitheads."

"Why don’t you and your race just get wiped out already?"

"I’ll take a piss on the sacred land soon."

They all hated warlocks, whether it was from so sort of national pride or just because they were different; Leon didn’t know, nor did he care to.

"Here." As Leon calmly sipped his tea, a plate of at was presented before him as a big brutish man with a bald head took a seat right opposite him.

"Hm, Ni’an." Leon nodded in acknowledgnt. This was the Lightning Monk’s real na; it was quite unique, but he himself was actually very ordinary.

They had been traveling for a month now, and Leon had co to understand Ni’an as the most common individual he had ever t. He liked to indulge in food, made jokes about the most random situations, and to top it off, he was a drunk.

Well, not really a drunk, as it seed like he was always sober, but there always seed to be a drink in his mouth.

"You need your strength, kid; eat food. I can order more." Ni’an added. Of course, there was also sothing else he had learned from hanging around this guy for too long.

He was a massive leech.

He swore about how much he detested the money-hungry humans and their lack of discipline, but was always looking for a way to spend the money of others.

"That’s alright." Leon waved his hand hurriedly; he didn’t want to push this guy into a spending spree. He was afraid he would shut down the whole place with his money.

"Okay." Ni’an shrugged his shoulders before proceeding to dig into the plate of food in front of him.

A few minutes later, Ember, Arian, and two of the Lightning Monk’s other companions joined them in the restaurant and started to order food.

It was a really warm and enjoyable morning, much more eventful than the past week.

—cling.

While Leon and his team had a good ti talking, the door behind them opened, and another group stepped into the restaurant, followed by the sounds of praise from the outside.

"Sigh, this is so tiring." The main leader of the group sighed heavily. Fa was a blessing and a curse; he couldn’t really go anywhere without drawing attention nowadays.

"Anyway." The young man with silver hair parted his hair to one side and began walking to the counter in front. They had grown tired of the food in their inn and wanted a bit more of the local cuisine.

But just as he reached the counter, he stopped abruptly.

"Badur?"

A person had caught his attention; it was a friend from a long ti ago, a friend from Eldoria
