In a land basin in the depths of the Undergod territory, there lay a massive city. Its walls were large, made from the finest stones, and its roads were paved just as magnificently as its gates were sturdy.

The atmosphere was befitting of a royal capital.

However, within the city today was a gloomy atmosphere, as those amongst the ordinary citizens closed their doors tight and awaited an impending fight.

The city was about to be besieged by an army of warlocks and humans.

"A natural basin is good for defense, but that’s just about it. We can only defend." Atop the wall of the city, a tall man with fluttering robes stood, looking over the horizon at a slowly forming army.

The number of n was just astounding, encircling the entire capital. The city was built for defense, but could they really defend against this?

"Fall into ranks! Do not make separate formations!" On the side of the army, standing over the peaks, several horsen rode around giving instructions.

This unified army was around three hundred thousand strong, so information couldn’t be passed by the words of one person. They needed carriers to pass down commands.

"So many people," at a particular section of the army, a troop of five thousand could be seen slowly rging with the army formation.

"It is a large-scale conflict, after all," Liana’s voice resounded as she stood shoulder to shoulder with Leon and the others.

The stronghold they attacked the previous day belonged to the Kingdom of Luminara, one of the vassal kingdoms that had aligned with Celestial Palace. This was their capital, "Gilran." Leon wasn’t too far away when he got the ssage, so in a day, he was able to get here and join the army.

"Yes." As Leon marveled at the powerful force in front of him, a ssenger rode to his side and stopped.

"Pri Scion Alduwin?" The ssenger looked around the troop of n and asked. He looked quite serious, as for a matter of fact, he had not seen this so-called ’Pri Scion’ before. But he knew of his status, so he had to be respectful.

"Ah? That is ." Leon rode his horse forward to the ssenger, revealing himself to be who he was looking for.

Leon’s bloodline was no longer that of the Blood Serpent Clan, but that of the Drake—the original bloodline from which the blood clans hailed.

It was not befitting to call him by his na, so a special status was granted to him by the City Lord Nephron.

"Greetings, sire, the general requests your presence at the front of the army formation," the ssenger said to Leon.

He was needed at the front of the army.

"Got it," Leon nodded casually, as though he expected this.

"You guys, don’t forget to grab as much gold as you can. Liana and Arian, you two are in charge." He then turned to his companions and gave commands before turning to follow the ssenger to the front of the army.

"The southern wall has fewer bown, should we attack it with all our fight-capable n?"

"Hmm, I think the higher-ups will attempt to destroy the gate first before we charge."

"Hehe, I’m going to be rich."

Soon, Leon reached the front of the army, where he heard several individuals from the myriad clans speaking. From the corner of his eye, he even saw a few people he knew.

Victoria and Rengoku, Qing and his brother Queen, even the First Elder from the Blood Serpent Clan, Po.

They all stood separate from the main force, highlighting their special status. But Leon didn’t have much ti to say hello, only waving from a distance as he made his way towards the very front.

"You made it." Kang stood looking forward as Leon arrived at the very front where the true generals of these armies stood.

"I received a direct order; of course, I’m here," Leon sent a jab, knowing full well that if he had not followed Kang’s order, nothing would have happened.

"Hmm," Kang let out a breath of hot air, indicating exhaustion. He wasn’t as quick-mouthed as Leon, so he couldn’t think of a coback at the mont.

"Is that the kid?"

As Leon and Kang spoke, an oppressively loud voice resounded from the planning table as a well-built man in monk robes walked toward them.

The man’s presence was strange. It felt like he was here, but at the sa ti, he wasn’t. As he moved forward, he placed pressure on the heart of those around him while being unaffected by anything else.

"That’s…" At first glance, Leon recognized the man.

The Lightning Monk.

He had t this individual during his first run at the Undergod territory in the Library of Xion. He had been the individual who was sent to expel the librarian of the library at that ti.

This man was a transcendent being, a level 5 existence.

"Hm? Cool armor." Reaching Kang’s side, the Lightning Monk paused and admired Leon’s armor.

The materials weren’t special, but the way it was made was. He had never seen anything like it. At least, not that he rembered.

"Thank you," Leon responded with a nod of appreciation, but said nothing else as he tried to gauge whether this man rembered him.

"So, is he the one with the teleportation artifact?" The Lightning Monk turned to Kang, who was just a few inches taller, and asked.

"Yes, he’s the one," Kang nodded calmly.

Teleportation was sothing that had not been seen in the three territories for thousands of years. So, you could imagine Kang’s shock when he saw Leon use it on several occasions during their campaign on the Undergod riverbanks.

Of course, he knew how valuable it was, so the first person to know was his master, Nephron. And with his permission, the alliance was let in on this secret with the strict warning that no one was allowed to covet it.

With this, Nephron swore by the blood running through his veins to hunt down whoever tried to kill Leon with his dying breath.

This was a powerful threat. A leader and only transcendent being of the blood clans swearing by his blood was a big beast.

The mont they heard that, everyone naturally fell in line, especially the transcendent existences.

"Good. You will be our third wave," the Lightning Monk said.

He was the High General of this particular army. As this was still the Undergod territory, they—the monastery’s n—were to take charge of all significant battles.

"Third wave? What do you an?" Leon asked, clearly confused.

"Ahh, don’t worry, co with , I’ll fill you in on everything." The Lightning Monk walked over, grabbed the reins of Leon’s horse, and pulled it away slowly.
