A sonic boom erupted in the sky outside bloodrock city, as a flying carriage appeared in the sky and slowly descended to the ground. The carriage was horseless which in itself was strange for this day and ti.
The sound of its gears turning and its majestic movents made it sound more like a wild beast than anything.
it’s wheels soon rolled down the streets of bloodrock city with impunity. Wherever it went the people around gave way to this strange sight that looked like what ca out of fairytales.
Soon news spread around the surrounding areas
There was a horseless carriage moving through the backstreets of bloodrock city.
For those who weren’t there they quickly dismissed it as one of the many rumors that frequently spread throughout the city on a daily basis. However, there were those who understood, those who had lived long enough and had enough information to see the undercurrents.
About 30 minutes later, the horseless carriage appeared before the gates of the blood serpent clan where it stood for a long ti. It was as if it had reached its destination, but the people inside of it didn’t step out.
"Is it a ghost carriage?" One of the observers asked
"Probably sorcery" another one added.
So of them had just seen the carriage whilst others had followed it from the city gates, they all wanted to know what was going on and why this strange carriage had stopped infront of the blood serpent clan.
But, this wasnt going to happen unfortunately, because as they stood there watching closely the gates to the blood serpent clans main house opened up and the carriage rode in paying no mind to them.
In a blink of an eye, the horseless carriage disappeared from their view.
Inside the blood serpent clan
A grim atmosphere covered the clan as a dark cloud had begun to form over it. There, two figures stood outside the clans grand hall presumably waiting for soone…..
"There they are" one of the figures raised his head as he watched a horseless carriage approach them. A layman would look at this scene and wonder what sort of magic could move this carriage, but not him.
He knew what this carriage was, he knew the owner, it was his masters. It was Nephrons carriage.
"Welco master" when the carriage ca to a stop
Infront of the box shaped grand hall, Kang and rengoku bowed their heads slightly in utter respect.
Their master had been chased down by arguably the most powerful force in the sacred lands and had co back unscathed. It was naturally a joyous thing.
Of course, this was no joyous occasion, because there was definitely more to co. And to that effect, the clan had been placed on red alert and all its mbers had been summmoned.

From within the carriage, the supre leader opened the door and stepped out with Leon and bran by his side. He panned his head to the side and nodded at both Kang and Rengoku as if giving them a well done.
Then, he proceeded to walk directly to the door of the grand hall with all four of them en tow.

The door to the grand hall opened
"Welco Supre leader!!" A giant echoe resounded from what seed to be thousands of souls. The entire clan was here, they had answered the call.
"Hm" the supre leader nodded and continued his walk forward. Passing by every mber of the clan as they stood in solidarity with the clan leader. This was a situation of war, and they had all co here to die for their clan.
He didn’t show it, but he was extrely proud of the clan at this point in ti. In the face of an external enemy they all threw down their differences and ca together.

After a few seconds of walking, they arrived before another door and opened it.
The grand hall of the blood serpent clan was one of its clan’s treasures and was able to host every single mber of the clan and then so. It was a massive defensive treasure that saw their survival during the countless storms of the world.
"Welco Supre leader!!" The people within that room echoed as they watched Nephron enter with his disciples. But even now Nephron kept quiet as he walked to the helm of the room and took his seat on the clan heads chair.
He sat there for a few minutes watching his clansn with nothing but a neutral expression on his face.
"I thank you alll for being here today"
Finally he spoke.
" you have all done proud, to there’s nothing more important than family, and although we are from different places and most of us grew with different cultures, we are tied together by one thing- the blood that runs through our vains—
We may fight, we may kill each other, but we shall do that amongst each other. No outsider may kill one of our own nor do they have the right to threaten us"
The supre leader took in a large breath of air as he felt the tension in the crowd.
"Today, we are faced with a challenge as a clan. We are face with those who seek to exterminate this blood that keeps us together....will you let them succeed?" The supre leader asked
"No!!!"
And to his question was a resounding response, that shook the entire hall. They were faced with extermination from the golden griffin clan. When they all heard the news they didnt cower. Instead it filled them with hate and anger.
Whether the golden griffin clan was stronger than them did not matter, what gave them the right to determine the future of the blood serpent clan? They thought they could exterminate them just by words alone?
They would need to shed blood.
"Good, now ready your hearts, ready your souls, ready your very essence for we shall fight…..and we shall win" Nephrons words set the entire blood serpent clan ablaze.
They were not new to prosecution, many tis in their history they had faced many enemies who sort to end them but it had never occurred.
This was simply because, they were ready to die but never ready to be enslaved. This was a luxury they had bought for themselves with their very blood.
"And I shall fight with you" with a calm look on his face the supre leader spoke. And in the next second about 4 individuals in black hoods started to slowly exit the crowd to stand infront of the supre leader.
"Thank you for coming back, it is ti" the supre leader spoke to the four n with utter respect. They were about to go through with th ultimate sacrifice, this was actually not sothing he wanted at least not yet.
But it seed like he really had no choice in the matter
"No, thank you lordship" one of them n stepped forward and pulled off his hood revealing the face of a bald man with the tattoos of the undergod monastery on them.
"We have been ready since the day we were born" the next one said before stepping forward and removing his hood.
"I have lived long, thank you" the next one said
Then finally the last one stepped forward and smiled "I won the wager, so technically, this was going to happen whether you liked it or not"
"Malphas?" Leon was taken aback by the last individual
It was the High Aribiter
"For the clan!!"
All four pulled out different daggers of varying lengths and styles, they faced its tip at the supre leader causing the hall to go completely silent in shock and worry.
However, this soon changed as the n abruptly faced the daggers to themselves and stabbed themselves through the stomach.

Like dominos, they all fell to the floor one after the other, Their blood, sipping onto the floor.
The clans n were taken aback by this, so expressing shock, while others burst into tears. Especially the students of the High Arbiter.
It was just to sudden.
"Sigh" the supre leader sighed at the scene before standing up to walk forward, while he did so, he slowly took off his shirt revealing his skinny upper body.
The tale of nephron was a long one, he had been the head for this clan for god knows how long. So had lived for hundreds of years and had never known anyone other than this man before them, but they never saw it as strange.
After all, as a quasi-level 5 existence he could live for much longer than most of them, so technically, no one really knew...
"Ha ka kun, Yun la Yan ka fan, yakana heh Kan nun" the Nephron broke into a language old and forgotten, it’s words were unfamiliar to all here, but it’s very essence resonated with them.
It was like a call from their very nature forcing Their hearts to race uncontrollably. This got even worse when the supre leader began moving in a particular rhythm that made them fall into a state of bloodlust.
"I vaguely rember my grandfather telling about this feeling, " to the side, the first elder muttered.
When you feel the bloodlust of your inner beast tremble, when you feel it churn, know that, The one who endures is near.
The blood on the floor soon began to react to nephrons words and dance as they churned and slowly sipped into his pours. The entire clan bore witness to this scene, they felt the supre leader go through a variety of transformations in one instant.
He was becoming sothing else, sothing their inner beast feared.
"Roar!!!!!"
After a long dance and transformation, the supre leader broke into a monsterous roar that shook the entire hall.
But it didn’t just do that, it shook the entirety of bloodrock city. As an apparition of a giant creature with sharp claws appeared over it.

A few hours later, the supre leader sent all his clansn and guards to the clan leaders of the blood clans to ask them to surrender their control of the city to him.
It was a brazen request, but they all did so without a second thought, and in one night, the whole of bloodrock city was conquered by the blood serpent clan.
Days later news spread far and wide that the supre leader of the blood serpent clan had entered the stage of transcendence.
He had officially beco a level 5 existence.
