Around ten years ago, a bunch of talents had gathered at Griffins Peak to partake in an event not too different from the one they were participating in right now.
During that event, several shocking developnts occurred, each more impressive than the last.
The scaling of Griffins Peak by hand
The battle of the houses
The Challenge from afar
And finally, the most shocking... The race to level 5.
In these series of events, Kang had been one of the main players, but for so reason, he always fell short. He believed it to be foul play, so after the event was over, he left the Bloodserpent clan with not a single penny, completely imrsed in his rage.
On this journey, he had truly beco strong, and now he was here to prove himself once more.
"This is your place, BloodRock house," one of the three Robins pointed out a large courtyard sitting on a flat land of dry sand.
"I believe the three old n from BloodRock city are already in there," one of the three Robins mused with squinted eyebrows. He could not quite see into the courtyard at the mont even though he could several hours ago.
He could only guess that this was the power of those who had reached Quasi-level 5.
After showing them to their accommodation, the three Robins left with the other disciples from the myriad of clans.
"Hmm? Why are they following us?" Leon questioned Rengoku as they walked closer and closer to the courtyard.
"Them? They have a history with BloodRock city, don’t worry," Rengoku followed Leon’s finger, and his eyes landed on the mbers of the Bone Serpent clan.
Their relationship with BloodRock city and the Bloodserpent clan was old... but not forgotten. Even though they couldn’t be considered friends, they would forever be given shelter in BloodRock city if they wanted.
"Stop," at the very front of the group, Kang’s voice resounded, forcing them to slow down before coming to an eventual pause in front of the gate.
There, Kang walked forward slowly and placed his hand on the courtyard’s door. "Open," under his breath Kang spoke, causing the door to swing open without him exerting force.
This wasn’t his first ti here, so he knew what needed to be done at any given mont. Subsequently, they all flooded into the courtyard where they were t with a unique sight.
The supre leader, the Bone Serpent clan’s head (chieftain), and a man with red slimy hair that fell from his shoulders, covering half his face, sat in a circle with a bunch of cards in hand.
They seed to be playing a ga.
"Sigh!!" Seeing this scene, Kang could only breathe out in frustration before taking a seat on the wooden floor in front of the gate.
As soon as he did this, the others imdiately followed suit, mirroring his action.
It looked like they would have to wait for the old n to be done with their ga first before anything.
So they sat and waited.
"Fucking old swindler!!! I won’t take this lying down!!"
"Old man Nephron, you need to learn how to stop cheating."
A while after, the other two began to complain about the supre leader’s cheating habits and eventually gave up the ga before heading into their various quarters with the disciples.
"You guys need to learn how to play better... I didn’t cheat," as the two left, the supre leader muttered under his breath as if aggrieved by what they had just said to him.
There was a stigma around him being a massive scher and a cheater; one of them was true, but he couldn’t get rid of the other. It was frustrating.
"Ehnnn, you guys," shaking his head while arranging the deck of cards, the supre leader turned to his disciples and smiled.
"Good job out there, especially you, Kang. You’ve made us targets once again," the supre leader’s words sounded like berating, but it apparently wasn’t.
It seed like the show they had put on was all a part of his arrangents when coming to Griffins Peak.
"The coming days will be tough, steel yourself. And we shall pull through," the supre leader smirked. "My Inner (direct) disciples have experience with Griffins Peak and its inner workings, so you should do your best to consult them when the need arises. anwhile, I’ll be here if you need any guidance on your training..."
Griffins Peak was by no ans a safe haven for anyone. Fighting was encouraged by the higher-ups of the Golden Griffin clan, especially when it was between non-clan mbers.
At this point, it had beco a sort of tradition for fights like these to occur, so they would definitely be expecting them.
"Get so rest, we’ll talk later," the supre leader said as he slowly stood up and walked to a room in the back of the courtyard.
"Oh, yeah, and don’t antagonize the Bone Serpent old man."
He then closed the door, leaving them to their own devices.

"Hmm, had fun huh?" At the highest point on Griffins Peak, a relatively old man’s eyes snapped open as he noticed a young man with golden hair step onto the platform.
"Naturally, toying with losers is always a fun ti, brother Aince," the young man spoke with relative calm... though under it was a clear perversion for bullying those he saw as rivals.
"I already told you to stop calling brother, we are not in the sa generation," with a vein bulging on his forehead, the old man complained about the young man’s disrespectful address.
Sure, they were on the sa level now, but he was technically this kid’s grandfather’s generation.
"Sure, whatever you say, brother Ziaman," further refusing to pay him any respect, the young man walked forward and entered a lotus position in the middle of the platform.
"Let’s continue then," a third voice resounded, and the three entered a state of unison and tranquility.

That sa night,
A young silhouette jumped down from Griffins Peak with the help of a semi-visible angelic apparition.
