Blood pools, These were one of the most precious resources in BloodRock city. They contained the ability to refine and push the bloodline of warlocks to the extre.
Even warlocks outside of BloodRock city Yerned for this treasure much more than anything, and would pay a fortune to use it.
The thod in which it was made was still a mystery to the masses, but one thing was sure, it needed alot of blood.
"This is the place" in an underground area inside the bloodserpent clan. Gions voice resounded.
All the great clans of BloodRock city had bloodpools and for the bloodserpent clan...they had several indicating their status among the blood clans.
"What’s that sll???" Leon held her nose at the sight of the pool infront of him. This sll, it was putrid!!!
"Hehe, it’s why you’re here" Gion smirked. Leon was from a backwater clan branch in the middle of the boonies. If though he had been briefed on what the bloodpool was, his reaction would be clearly different from others.
( hmm? What are you talking about? This place slls good!!)
From inside Leon’s clothes, levi stuck his head out and peered into the pool infront of him.
The pool was stagnate, silent, but the aura it released from just being there was very thick. And filled the whole room making it extrely hot.
(Really?)
Leon asked. From levis reaction this pool might be useful to him. Sadly it wasn’t the sa for Leon.
"So you guys can freely take your dips and improve.....but be careful, staying to long might cause adverse effects." After arriving at the bank of pool gion turned to address them.
The pool was an innovation from a long ti ago, It origin was vague. But from what he knew it was from a dangerous practice hundreds of years ago. Prolonged ersion was dangerous for a warlock.
"Hmm, we understand" at the front of the group, victoria said outloud.
She was the defacto leader of the enforcent units captains. Her strength and her talent made sure of that.
"Good" gion nodded before dropping a body from his shoulder onto the floor. This body was bruised and battered with his hands tied behind his back.
It looked like he had been through alot recently.
"Have fun!!" Not paying attention to the captains anymore, Gion proceeded to walk off without a care in the world.
"Sigh, Are you good Vincent?" After watching gion Leave one of the captains stepped forward and inquired of the young man whom had been thrown to the floor.
"Hm? Is he gone?" The young man opened his left eyes and quickly scanned his surroundings to make sure that gion was gone.
"Yeah" the captain smiled and shook his head.
He was the one who didn’t attend the eting. The one the High Arbiter was sent to capture and bring back.
Queen
(That’s a guy?)
Upon seeing the way this queen fellow was dressed Leon was convinced that it was a girl. But the pitch of his voice was way off and imdiately sent signals through Leon’s mind.
He was a guy, but he looked very feminine.
"Thank goodness" sitting up straight queen sighed. The beating he had just received for not attending the eting should qualify as a hate cri.
It was just too much.
"Next ti, you’ll listen to instructions" Victoria said to queen with a look of disgust.
Queen was a talent, an extrely gifted one of the captains. But he was too wishy washy and enjoyed partying more than anything. This didn’t sit well with her one bit.
"Yes, your gracious Highness" queen quickly stood up and saluted Victoria with a bow.
However, in this bow, there was an air of mockery and defiance. He was one of the few people that didn’t fear Victoria.
Not because he was stronger than her, in fact he was just like Leon a beginner level 3 warlock...the reason was because he had a backer in this very room
"Hmp!!!" Victoria sneered and looked to her side. There a young captain with bruises and cuts all over his body stood peering into the horizon.
This was queen’s older brother, Qing.
Unlike queen who was a natural talent and naturally broke through on his own, Qing had to fight to be here. Blood sweat and iron, he had been through it all.
This ant one thing, he wasn’t to be ssed with. Especially with that fact that he had Victoria were the only two peak level 3 warlocks amongst the captains.
"You can all go about your various businesses. We have 7 days in here, what you can accomplish on your own will speak for you when we are done" Victoria ignored both Queen and his brother then addressed the other captains.

They all went their separate ways to experience the bloodpool on their own.
"Hmmm, this is a good spot," after walking around for a few minutes, Leon stopped a few hundred ters away from the group and sat down.
The bloodpool was large, spanning at least a few kilotres. The thought of the sheer number of beast that needed to die for this pool to be built and maintained.
For several of them to exist throughout BloodRock city there had to be a massive source of blood.
Leon wondered where it was...
(Hey Leon brother, aren’t you going to use your opportunity in the pool)
Levi stuck his head out of Leon’s clothes and inquired.
"Hm? I’m not using it, Being here is just a formality." Leon said calmly...and after a pause he sighed.
"You can go in if you want...the impurities though" Leon said to levi with his eyes closed.
The reason he didn’t want to enter the pool was because there were alot of impurities in it. The number of beast of different species in there was massive. Allowing such to mix with his internal body was a huge no.
Of course, the others saw the problem too and were able to avoid it with their own thods.
Only a warlock with no future would enter there without a thod of protection against impurities.
Leon didn’t want to take the risk. But levi was different.
He was a beast, eating the flesh and drinking the blood of his fellow beast was one of the ways they got stronger.

Not waiting for Leon to speak levi rushed towards the pool at full blast.
"Sigh" watching the scene Leon could only shake his head. Levi had worked hard, he deserved this treat.
As for Leon...he would stick to the BloodMisty lillys.
