After they walked into the house, Li Chenze and Zhang Ermu unloaded their items and carried them inside the house. As for Zhang Dongi, she followed them into the house.

After Li Chenmo settled his wife down, he covered her with a thin blanket before he opened the window and put down the curtain to block the strong wind and sunlight. With the curtain, the room would still get enough ventilation without being too windy.
When he was done, he went to help his eldest brother arrange the items and store the bicycle in the woodshed. Before they left, Li Chenmo handed a basket of eggs, two kilograms of at, and a red envelope to his eldest brother and eldest sister-in-law.

Seeing her daughter wearing a set of old clothes, she took out two sets of new clothes from the cabinet and handed them to her.

"These are clothes that Mother prepared for you and your brother. Today is our first family banquet with your younger siblings. Everyone should wear new clothes," Lu Jueyu said while showing the clothes to her daughter.
