She glared at her and coughed to hide her embarrassnt. After she wiped off the biscuit crumbs from her lips, she said, "I believe you know who my son is. So, I won't waste our ti and will talk directly."
Su Lanying nodded and waited for her to continue.
Facing her calmness, Mother Song frowned and said, "Miss Su, I already investigated you and your family."

Hearing her words, Su Lanying didn't change her expression. But her hands, clenching under the table, were trembling, and her nails had broken her skin.

Mother Song was stunned by her question. Thinking about her son's words when he called her, she panicked for a mont and asked, "Why did you ask about this?"

She calculated everything, but she never calculated for him to visit her at this ti. After a long silence, she finally called him with a hint of anxiety, "Song Yan—"

Mother Song was shocked by her son's sudden arrival. But she was more shocked when she saw how hurt and panicked her son was.
