After talking with his niece, Han Yuluo let her do her school howork and went out to send a telegram to his brother. He had already inford his manager about his marriage plans and his trip back to his hotown.
Now, he only needed to consult with his niece's doctor to see whether going back would hinder her recovery or if they could pause the therapy for a while.
While he was getting busy, Li Chenmo and Lu Jueyu were occupied inside her space.
The grains harvested from the mountains needed to be processed, and doing it manually would take a long ti. So, she simply collected everything into her space and used the machines to process it.
At the sa ti, Li Chenmo finally packed up Zhang Ermu's bear fur. He planned to send it over to him later. Once they finished processing the grains, the two of them ca out of her space and went to the underground cellar.
Standing inside the cellar, Li Chenmo said, "Wife, it's already autumn now. The weather will beco colder and humid. We don't have to take out too much grain."
Lu Jueyu nodded and replied, "Okay. I will just fill the cellar with so dried food and sauces then."
After they filled the cellar until it was half full, they ca out and went to visit the Zhang family. After the wedding, everyone had been busy with autumn planting, so the Zhang family hadn't sent any thank-you gifts to the helpers.
While no one would say anything since Lu Jueyu had given them lots of food during the banquet, it was still better to show appreciation. That way, when they need help in the future, people will be more willing to lend a hand.
At that mont, Liu Piao was washing eggs in the backyard when Zhang Ermu returned from the mountain foothills with two baskets of mushrooms.
Seeing his wife squatting beside the basin, he smiled and placed the bamboo baskets down. Walking over, he squatted beside her and helped wash the eggs.
Noticing this, Liu Piao turned and said with a smile, "Husband, you are back."
Zhang Ermu's heart fluttered when he heard her calling him "husband." He nodded and said, "Wife, I will do it. You go get so rest."
"I'm just washing so eggs, it's not tiring. You are the one who needs to rest."
After she said this, she wiped her hands and added, "I will go get so water and food for you."
Before Zhang Ermu could say a word, she had already gone to the kitchen. When she ca back, she was holding a cup of honey water and a bowl of at porridge.
Placing the cup and bowl on the balcony, she said, "Husband, leave the eggs. Co and eat first."
Zhang Ermu nodded, but he still finished washing the eggs before walking over. Sitting on the balcony, he said, "Wife, I found lots of mushrooms today. Later, we can wash them and send so to Uncle Su's house."

Hearing his wife's words, Zhang Ermu asked, "Then how about we dry the mushrooms and keep them for ourselves? We have enough money, so there's no rush to earn more."

Not long after he finished his al, they heard a knock on the front gate, followed by Li Chenmo's voice, "Brother Ermu, are you ho?"
"Husband, go see why Brother-in-law ca to visit us. I will boil so tea for him," Liu Piao said.
Zhang Ermu nodded and walked to the front yard.
Outside the gate, Li Chenmo and Lu Jueyu waited for a while before the gate was opened.

Li Chenmo parked his bicycle near the balcony and handed over the bear fur. The fur was wrapped in a piece of old fabric and tied with hemp rope. At a glance, no one would guess that it contained intact bear fur.

Not long after, Liu Piao ca out from the backyard carrying a tray.
