When Lu Jueyu heard her husband's request, she replied with a smile, "We still have so in space. I will prepare it for you."
"Thank you, wife," Li Chenmo said warmly.
While Li Lingyun and Pan ijia rested, Li Chenmo followed his wife to the kitchen. He couldn't feel at ease letting his wife carry heavy things when he suspected that his wife was pregnant.
Noticing him trailing behind like her shadow, Lu Jueyu thought her husband was being clingy and didn't give it much thought.
In the kitchen, Lu Jueyu took out a jar of cold herbal tea from her space and poured a cup for her husband. Handing him the tea, she asked, "Husband, what do you want for lunch?"
After finishing the herbal tea, Li Chenmo replied, "Just make whatever you feel like eating."
When she heard her husband's words, dishes like chicken soup, wood ear mushroom salad, and grilled fish imdiately ca to her mind. The thought alone made her mouth water and she couldn't help but swallow.
Noticing her eager expression, Li Chenmo smiled and asked, "Wife, do you need my help?"
Shaking her head, Lu Jueyu replied, "No need. I will just take it out from space."
With a wave of her hand, several dishes and a basket of stead rice appeared on the kitchen table. Seeing this, Li Chenmo stepped forward to help.
He picked up the large pot of chicken soup and said, "Wife, you just carry the utensils and mushroom salad. I will bring out the rest to the living room."
Hearing this, Lu Jueyu agreed readily, "Okay."
While Li Chenmo served the dishes, Lu Jueyu went to call Li Lingyun and Pan ijia for lunch.
At the sa ti, Liu Hua was sitting across from Doctor Xie. She looked at him checking the wound ointnt and asked anxiously, "Doctor Xie, how is it?"
Doctor Xie set down the jar of wound ointnt and said, "This ointnt is far inferior to the one I initially wanted. However, it's much better than the ones currently sold in hospitals."
Hearing this, Liu Hua nodded and explained with a smile, "Doctor Xie, this ointnt was made using 50-year-old ginseng. Its quality might not match the one you wanted, but it's affordable."
"You see this jar. This jar contains 10 ml of ointnt and it was given to you free of charge as a sample. You only need a little bit of the ointnt to heal the wound. So with just this amount, it could last a long ti."

As soon as she finished speaking, Doctor Xie glared at her and said unhappily, "Who said I wouldn't buy it? I just pointed out that the quality isn't what I was hoping for. Do you always talk this much?"
Liu Hua's eyes lit up at his words, and she asked, "So, how many jars would you like to buy, Doctor Xie?"
Doctor Xie paused thoughtfully before asking, "How many jars can you provide?"
Liu Hua hesitated before replying with a question of her own. "Doctor Xie, are you planning to resell it?"
Snorting at her words, Doctor Xie replied, "I'm not planning to resell it. At most, I will inform my brother so he can purchase so. With this ointnt, the injuries among soldiers on missions could be significantly reduced."
His words took Liu Hua by surprise. If he inford the military, wouldn't it be the sa as exposing themselves to the governnt that they were involved in private transactions?
Realizing the implications, she stood up abruptly and said with a frown, "Doctor Xie, what do you an by this? I'm helping you obtain the ointnt, yet you want to harm and Jueyu?"
Doctor Xie sighed as he realized her misunderstanding and asked, "What benefit would I gain if you were arrested?"
His words cald Liu Hua. She sat down again and asked, "Then why involve the military?"
Doctor Xie took a sip of tea and said, "As a doctor, I know how many casualties happen in the military every day. If we can save lives with this ointnt, why keep it to ourselves?"
"But what if the military asks you where you got the ointnt?" Liu Hua asked again.
"I can just tell them I made it myself. As for the cost, I will say it's the price of the dicinal herbs. After all, nothing in this world cos for free. If they are unwilling to pay even that, then they can forget about it," Doctor Xie replied casually.
Although she was relieved by his plans, Liu Hua still asked, "But what if they demand the formula?"
As soon as he heard this, Doctor Xie replied with a snort, "Other than my wife, no one can force to do sothing I don't want to."
After so thought, Liu Hua finally nodded and said, "I trust that Doctor Xie will keep his word."
Doctor Xie simply glanced at her before ignoring her comnt.
"Doctor Xie, just let know how many jars you need, and I will talk to Jueyu. I will do my best to et your request," Liu Hua added.
Doctor Xie raised an eyebrow when he heard this and said, "You seem confident you can fulfill my demand. Do you have so leverage over that girl?"
Liu Hua smiled faintly at his words and replied, "Doctor Xie, everyone has their little secrets. As long as you get what you need, does the process matter?"
