Chapter 635: Chapter 635: Am I the Type to Treat People Differently?

Fang Zhou grabbed Aya’s shoulder and cast a spell from the Yin Yang Treasure Book.

Their figures imdiately beca hazy and transparent, and eventually vanished.

This spell is specifically used for stealth, capable of isolating even Divine Sense.

After they hid, it wasn’t long before a small black dot appeared in the distant sky, rapidly enlarging.

Fang Zhou’s Divine Sense enveloped a large area around them, having already sensed what was coming— a Grey Ancient Dragon.

This Ancient Dragon wasn’t very large, approximately over ten ters long. Fang Zhou intuitively judged its strength to be around the Innate Realm.

Aya also whispered softly, “This is the lowest tier of Grey Dragon, not threatening.”

It’s not threatening to Fang Zhou and Aya, but for the tribe below, it’s a natural enemy.

The tribe had bred a type of bird to keep watch in the sky, which was now emitting piercing screeches.

People out gathering and hunting hurriedly escaped back to the gathering point, hiding in the pre-dug underground pits.

But the Grey Dragon was fast, and before everyone could hide, it had flown overhead and unleashed its Dragon Breath.

The Dragon Breath swept across, easily collapsing stone houses and killing humans who couldn’t evade in ti.

The people below were in panic, screaming and fleeing like ants.

The Grey Dragon, pleased, lazily chased these ants with its Dragon Breath.

Of course, humans also had so power to retaliate. As the tribe’s leader, the Witch Priest stepped forward, raising a wooden staff with bones, releasing a black ray towards the Grey Dragon.

Caught off guard, the Grey Dragon was hit, its scales charred black.

It roared furiously, using Dragon Breath to retaliate against the audacious human attacker.

The Witch Priest turned and fled, despite appearing frail and elderly, his movents were unexpectedly agile, fast like a cheetah, repeatedly dodging the Dragon Breath attacks.

But such luck couldn’t last indefinitely; he would eventually be killed.

Aya felt an impulse to help; these people were technically her ancestors, the origin of her nation.

If they were allowed to be slaughtered clean by the Grey Dragon, would her nation even exist in the future?

However, being back in ti ant any decisions made would affect the future, so Aya didn’t dare act rashly, looking towards Fang Zhou instead.

Fang Zhou smiled and said, “Don’t worry, soone will step in.”

Just as he finished speaking, an incident occurred below.

A sphere flew out from the dense forest, struck the Grey Dragon, and exploded instantly, turning into white dust.

The Grey Dragon was highly sensitive to this dust, imdiately sneezing incessantly, its flight becoming wobbling.

A female mage leapt from the dense forest to the tree crown, raising the wooden staff in her hand.

The tip of the staff gathered light, shooting a dazzling bolt of lightning forward, accurately hitting the wobbling Grey Dragon in mid-air.

The Grey Dragon shrieked miserably, rolling down from the sky, crashing into nurous trees.

The female mage seized the victory, casting Feather Flying Technique on herself, soaring above the Grey Dragon from the dense forest, and pulling out a leather-bound book from her pocket, raised her wooden staff, and began chanting the words loudly.

The Grey Dragon sensed danger, enduring the pain as it struggled to rise from the ground, and unleashed Dragon Breath towards the female mage.

The female mage skillfully dodged using Feather Flying Technique, her loud chant ended, and a massive bolt of lightning appeared suddenly in the sky, striking the Grey Dragon.

The Grey Dragon let out another woeful scream, and when the lightning vanished, a huge bloody hole appeared on its body, the wound charred by the lightning.

The entire dragon lay on the ground, barely hanging on, more breath going out than coming in.

The female mage cheered and took out a small obsidian dagger from her pocket, flying towards the Grey Dragon.

Before she could make a move, the dying Grey Dragon suddenly flipped out, opening its gigantic mouth to bite down on her.

The female mage was startled, quickly retreating, but this was the Grey Dragon’s last-ditch effort, its speed was incredibly fast, leaving her no ti to dodge.

Just as she was about to be devoured, a golden light suddenly flashed.

With a slashing sound, the large dragon head spun away, revealing a smooth severed surface on the long dragon neck, causing a massive spray of scorching Dragon Blood.

The female mage was bewildered, splashed with dragon blood all over her head and face, becoming a blood-soaked figure.

Nearby, Aya curiously asked Fang Zhou, “Aren’t you afraid of affecting subsequent history?”

The two of them had co from the future, and ssing around would certainly affect the following history.

Fang Zhou shrugged, “The subsequent history is already screwed; us being unconventional won’t matter.”

Despite that, Fang Zhou didn’t dare to truly act recklessly, so he explained the necessity of saving this female mage, “Look at how she’s dressed, clearly beyond the tribe era, maybe she’s a top figure of this world. We could talk to her and find out where the Fire of Hope is.”

Aya suspiciously looked at him, “Isn’t it just because she’s a woman that you stepped in to save her?”

Fang Zhou straightened his expression, “Am I the type to discriminate?”

Aya rolled her eyes at him.

The puzzled female mage finally snapped out of it at this mont.

She scread loudly, but spoke in a language Fang Zhou and Aya couldn’t understand.

Thousands of years had passed, and language had completely changed beyond recognition.

But judging by how the female mage shouted towards the forest, she must’ve realized soone secretly helped save her life.

Fang Zhou and Aya revealed themselves from hiding, when the female mage saw them, she was montarily stunned.

For no reason other than aura and attire, Fang Zhou and Aya didn’t look like they belonged to this world.

The female mage was dazed for a mont before chirping and shouting again, still an incomprehensible language.

Fang Zhou could only use soul conversation to communicate with her, and upon successful communication, the female mage’s loud voice reached his heart.

“By the flas above, are you deities?”

“Why don’t you speak? Should I offer sacrifices to you?”

Fang Zhou gently waved his hand, as Spiritual Energy swept over the female mage like water, clearing all the blood stains from her body.

The female mage marveled at her transformation, “What kind of spell is this? Or divine magic?”

Her appearance also beca apparent, cute and tidy, with a few freckles, wrapped tightly in clothes made from animal fur.

Yet Fang Zhou’s Divine Sense was pervasive, clearly sensing that aside from the fur clothes, the female mage wore nothing underneath.

Well then, it appears the level of civilization isn’t much higher than these tribe people.

“We are travelers from the south.”

Fang Zhou used soul conversation to speak to her, “Could you tell us where this place is?”

But instead of answering, the female mage excitedly exclaid, “What kind of spell is this? Being able to communicate without speaking?”

The female mage appeared very excited, jumping and bouncing around, unwittingly exposing herself.
