Thunder Sword Peak, Thunder Valley.

True Master Lei Jian walked slowly in the rugged valley, surrounded by a misty fog, with occasional flashes of thunder.

Deep in Thunder Valley, there was an abyssal chasm, with countless flashes of lightning flickering below, intimidating all who beheld it.

True Master Lei Jian stood before the chasm and called downward, "Lei Ting."

Since last year, Lei Ting had been in seclusion in this chasm and had yet to erge, known as the most diligent disciple in cultivation within the Heavenly Sword Sect.

After waiting for a while, a cold female voice rose from below.

"What is it?"

Despite being kept waiting by her disciple, True Master Lei Jian didn’t feel displeased. She considered for a mont before shouting a few more words, "Your two senior sisters have taken a handso youth to Refining Immortal City. Are you going?"

After another long silence, the cold voice ca again from below, "Go yourself!"

True Master Lei Jian turned and left, sighing quietly in her heart.

Her true disciple was excellent in every aspect except for being too rigid. Every day was nothing but eating, sleeping, and cultivating, never doing anything else.

If this continued, she would soon forget what her true disciple even looked like.

...

After leaving the Heavenly Sword Sect, Fang Zhou suddenly realized soone seed to be missing.

"Where is your junior sister Lei Ting?"

Fang Zhou asked Yu Qing, who was sitting not far away, "Why didn’t she co along?"

Having been at the Heavenly Sword Sect for so ti, Fang Zhou had never t the third true disciple Lei Ting, only knowing she was a cultivation fanatic who loved secluded practice.

Yu Qing was montarily stunned by Fang Zhou’s question, "Ah? Lei Ting... Lei Ting doesn’t like going out."

Fang Zhou looked surprised, "You didn’t forget to inform her, did you? Is it really fair to leave her out like this?"

"How could we forget? For sothing this important, we’d never overlook her."

Yu Qing’s eyes darted evasively.

Sitting across the cloud, Xuan Ling suddenly gave a cold chuckle, "Hypocrite!"

Yu Qing’s face turned red, embarrassed and ashad.

As the senior sister, forgetting a junior sister in such an important matter and being called out by another junior sister was like a public humiliation for Yu Qing.

Fortunately, there were no outsiders around. Fang Zhou gently patted the back of Yu Qing’s hand, offering comfort.

Finally, it was Gou Cheng who explained to Fang Zhou that Lei Ting indeed disliked going out and preferred staying in Thunder Valley to cultivate. In her more than a decade since entry, she had only co out three tis.

Initially, Yu Qing and the others would notify Lei Ting about events, asking if she wanted to join.

But she always refused, and after so many years, everyone had gotten used to not seeking her out since she wouldn’t appear anyway.

After hearing the explanation, Fang Zhou understood that Lei Ting was a complete recluse, her dedication to seclusion over a decade comndable in its own right.

Chang Kong sat quietly at the front of the cloud, listening to the younger ones converse without saying a word.

Besides Fang Zhou, the others wouldn’t dare speak unnecessarily to this seemingly "dignified" senior of the sect.

Once the cloud left the Heavenly Sword Sect, it flew southwestward.

The headquarters of the Righteous Alliance was outside the Central Plains Five Countries, among miles of mountains, taking several days to reach even with the Spirit Sword flying at full speed.

However, the cloud crafted by Chang Kong was exceptionally fast, carrying the five of them through the Central Plains Five Countries into the endless mountains in less than two days.

During the journey, Fang Zhou left briefly to gather the other three mbers of the Avengers Alliance into a gourd.

The cloud sailed through the sky, beneath them were sprawling, undulating mountain ranges and vast primitive forests extending indefinitely.

Generally, international organizations would choose their headquarters for convenience of transportation, but as an organization in the Cultivation World, maintaining prestige was far more important than convenience for the Righteous Alliance.

If they had set the headquarters in a bustling city or a place with convenient transportation, a crowd of commoners or low-level cultivators would flock there daily, diminishing the Alliance’s prestige to the lowest point.

Positioning it in such a wild and remote area ensured not only abundant spiritual energy but effectively kept away mortals and low-level cultivators, maintaining an elevated status.

It wasn’t just the Righteous Alliance; other large and small sects were similar, preferring isolation from the common populace to preserve prestige.

anwhile, these sects highly valued their reputation, feeling a mix of envy and resentnt toward the Heavenly Sword Sect’s use of newspapers to boost their renown.

But whether it was other sects or the Heavenly Sword Sect, their focus was solely on the Cultivation World, barely glancing at the vast mortal world.

Fang Zhou found this behavior foolish, overlooking the fact that the Cultivation World was also made up of people, originally erging from the masses. Detached from the populace, it was like a castle in the air, unsustainable in the long term.

The declining strength of major sects in the Cultivation World year after year, coupled with their ongoing struggle to recruit talent, was evidence enough.

These major sects were at their strongest during tis of conflict, unrestricted by rules and constantly drawing talent and fresh blood from the Human World.

The reason cults and demon sects continue to thrive is their unrestricted talent recruitnt, never insisting on entry trials or selection ceremonies, directly building their strength through sheer numbers, achieving miracles with brute force.

However, Fang Zhou only internally mocked these realities after all, as he had no intention of forming any sect. The decline of the Cultivation World’s strength was hardly his concern.

Shortly after entering the miles of mountains, the cloud flew into the Righteous Alliance’s controlled region, where Fang Zhou keenly sensed they were being watched, likely by Alliance guards.

Except for him and Chang Kong, Yu Qing and the others were unaware.

Soon, a shuttle appeared ahead to escort the five of them.

This shuttle, aside from its different paint job, matched the Heavenly Sword Sect’s shuttle in size and style.

"The Righteous Alliance’s shuttles were all donated by our Heavenly Sword Sect..."

Yu Qing whispered an explanation to Fang Zhou.

The guiding shuttle suddenly soared upward, heading straight into the sky, with Chang Kong steering the cloud in pursuit.

Not long after, Fang Zhou saw a mountain.

A massive peak, shaped like a spinning top, suspended in mid-air.

This was the headquarters of the Righteous Alliance, Luofu Mountain.

Fang Zhou gazed in awe at this marvelous spectacle.

He couldn’t fathom how such a large mountain could negate gravity to float in the sky.

This phenonon would likely stump even a thousand physicists.

The shuttle escorted the cloud over Luofu Mountain, where Fang Zhou soon beheld a majestic complex of buildings on the mountain, rivaling the Heavenly Sword Sect in grandeur, if not exceeding it in scale.

He initially expected to see a bustling scene, if not packed with people, then at least as busy as one of the Heavenly Sword Sect’s trade fairs.

Yet Luofu Mountain was surprisingly quiet, with only a few Heavenly Sword Sect-donated shuttles moving in and out, and so figures walking among the buildings.

After landing in a suitable spot, a respectful woman descended from the shuttle, ready to guide the five of them.
